Cheslie and Deshauna were bang on!! I also liked Olivia Culpo's response. It didnt seem like a rehearsed pageant answer. You could see her thinking through the question and unpacking it out loud even to herself. She did that again at MU and i think thats why she won.
Cheslie 🖤 my fav answer amongst these. It’s a combination of “confidence, eloquence & content/substance of the answer” even if its a short answer its the delivery and accuracy to reply. Thats why Cheslie, Deshauna & Olivia Culpo were my favs from this clip.
I look back now and I think Rima truly nailed it. I was young when she was crowned, but now I have seen a lot of women in my life struggle from reproductive issues. I had my mom lose her uterus to severe bleeding, and I had friends who had bad dysmenorrhea that had them puking and really debilitated for days. I believe that birth control should really be something insurance can cover.
Paula explained why it was not on their RUclips page years ago.... That year had one of Rihanna greatest hits used in the pageant "Umbrella." she mentioned having it up on Facebook which was they had to remove....
California 2016 got the same question as Makati 2023 in the Philippines. North Carolina 2019 got the same question as Vietnam 2018 in Universe. Pay attention to old pageants y’all.
First and foremost this is A BEAUTY CONTEST, not a speech contest. The idea that the final answer determine the final result is a myth and bullshtt. I was a judge in beauty contests several times before. I never choose the winner based on final interview alone. There are many other factors to consider like beauty poise confidence and attitude. Interview is just one part of the contest, we the judges were always told not to look who's the smartest or most eloquent, but rather we judge the interview by the MANNER OF DELIVERY (charisma, sincerity, grace under pressure, ability to connect with the audience, etc). Add also luck. Some judges add extra points to their favorites, some judges sabotage strong girls in favor for their bets. Judging is subjective, you never know what or how the judges are thinking on live telecast.
These are great answers; some contestants don't listen to the questions and respond with understanding, poise and depth. They have their own rehearsed responses to make the points they want. R.I.P. Cheslie Kryst, Miss USA 2019. So beautiful. So talented.
at war you use guns, so i dont even understand your problem with the statement. women have better stamina. they are just as tough, since men lack in certain categories that women do better. the only category is truly male dominated, strength, is something that happens due to general height. woman can pull themselves up just as easily as men.
I think Miss USA pageant has the most tough questions of all the national pageants leading to Miss Universe..
Also Miss South Africa and Miss Diva

So many participants during the Trump era has some of the best answers but it was always the pretty girl winners even if they had horrible answers
Need full package winners
I think Nevada was way prettier than Nebraska in 2018 lmao

@@AmyNguyen-cl5yz what?? Listen again the final answer of Nebraska she literally kill the stage
@@justinganaden7149same as what i’m thinking!!🤍
This is no best speaker winner..it is pageant, judges look all rounder
I think the final answer of Sarah Rose Summers actually is another great answer of all the history in the miss USA pageants
Yes. Question about the march. It was amazing. Other girls' answers were meh, they keep talking about their stories on the entire night
@@orangebun2800 totally agree
Miss New Mexico 2019 did a great job too!
6:46 Miss New Jersey 2017 Chavvi Verg had a strong response
Cheslie had the best answer to question to me. She was confident and straight to the point.
My favorites Chesley 😢 and DeShauna.

Beauty over speech,I guess

Sorry but Alyssa was unstoppable and the clear winner

Miss usa 2007 has the best answer of all time.
Definitely not lol, Rachel is one of the best Miss USA’s, but she got a dumb question and played from it.
best answer but the most grandma of all time 🤓🤣
Definitely Cheslie Kryst then Deshauna comes second
Olivia Culpo
Erin Brady's answer in 2013 I think was the best of the bunch.
Olivia Culpo, the iconic and most nautral answer.
Deshauna answer was very² powerful and empowerment

@6:11 women are not just as tough as men. Our strengths are different, not the same.
We’re mentally tough!

That stupid black girl why she jump off the tower if she's not stupid

Is "I'm a world better for everyone" a phrase they are taught to throw in?
First answer was awful
