Hey everyone! Hope all is well. Thought I would clarify on a lot of the comments on my City build to help everyone out! Thanks to Moxsy for allowing all of us to share our little creations and hopefully inspire builds and your future creations! These bases were amazing considering we don’t have much to work with right now and stairs are challenging lol 1.) No mods outside of game were used as I am on Xbox! In your world settings, I changed “Base Deterioration Rate” to 0 and number of pals from 15 to 20. More pals more fun. The base detororiation does not allow any benefits as you can only build pal structures within the blue circle anyways. It does however allow you to freely build any creations you want. Aka. A house that won’t get in the way of pals getting stuck. But you’ll find out things get cluttered and tight. I built buildings outside my blue pal space for sleeping and storage (library).and whatever creations I thought of! (Arena, taverns, armory, etc.) 2.) I used 2 pal boxes. 1 for main pal base which housed everything I needed. The 2nd I picked up and moved around so I could build where I wanted to as I played solo. Tip: build pal box. Place large storage container. Use fast travel with grappling hook to transport all materials without going back and forth with 200 stone. The third pal box was mining coal and iron. 3.) Everything has a purpose and has to be functional. The city was for NPCs so I can buy whatever I need and of course SELL NAILS to the 3 different merchants. Library was for all TM and schematic storage armory has all well armor and weapons, etc. The pal blue circle should really only be focused on Pal working and functionality. Pals get stuck on everything. God forbid they get in a tree. 4.) Yes sometimes I have the luxury of touching grass. Not all the time though. I’m afraid of the sun. But in all honesty you work hard you’ll set yourself up to be able to no life pal world. My creations reflect my work ethic. Posted the original link for all wanting to see full tour. Any other questions I’ll do my best to answer them. These build videos are here to inspire, share ideas and give people some help if they don’t know where to start! Hope this helps in some way and remember to ask for consent from the NPCs first if you plan on catching them. Have fun y’all! ruclips.net/video/76elvhX-e9g/видео.htmlfeature=shared

That last one was crazy. I saw one recently (just pics) where the player had made a giant sword structure coming out of the middle of their castle base. Some people are just insanely talented
He went all in for this looks like 2 maybe 3 pal boxes were placed here. And on Xbox as well so no mods. That is insane well deserved win absolutely insane base design congratulations yet again to the winner amazing base!
Yeah, but what catches my attention is that he had NPCs roaming around (deployed in the palbox) and then also had a fully functional base with Pals going further away than possible for those NPCs to still be within the same Palbox range. So at *least* two went into this base, and he has the structure deterioration setting turned off (as one should xD) and then just went ham. I knew it was going to be good when I saw the honorable mentions but I was still not prepared. Holy heck the #1 is mindblowing considering the limitations with this game!
Just 2 palboxes! Just 1 for the NPC town so they could walk around (Run and buy what I need from the merchants) and the 2nd was for functioning pals! The 3rd is at Ore and Charcoal spot (189, -38). Be sure to turn Structure Deterioration to 0 in world settings so you are able to build outside blue base zone. Allows more space to focus on just “pal structures” within the blue zone! Hope this helps!
Now that was brilliant. Bloody brilliant. Well done to all. The detail and population of that number one player was just wicked brilliant. What an imagination. I could never lol. Don’t have enough time. Thank you for the ideas for sure.
In my humble opinion, 1st place and 2nd place were very well deserved! But for me, 3rd place wasn't as impressive as the submission in honorable mentions and winner for best use of space. The intricacy and coziness of that one is beyond what any of the others did, and that would have been in the top 3 for me. But, I didn't see all the submissions and maybe there wasn't another good option for best use of space. Either way, this gave me huge inspiration to make a cool build of my own at some point. #1 blew me away. That's honestly just insane, and the effort of detailing that and bringing all those NPC's there. Crazy!!!
Insane bases. All of them were great and Moxsy you have done a commendable job in bringing them in front of everyone and of course giving them a small token of appreciation (money!)
So funny. For the most creative one, I put my base in the same spot. As you walk down the stair case, you come to the huge castle and then the stairs to the right lead down to the HUGE second base which i call pal tower. The firat place one is insane and its also funny that i recall asking my bf what would happen if one linked up multiple pal boxes to make a large expansive plot. Amazing. Now i feel i want to have a go making a whole city too. 😂
that last base is crazy dope! I just had the idea myself to put bases side by side instead of different locations to make sort of like a town. My idea is to put the storage boxes next to each other at the ends of the base circles closest to each other so can just turn around to swap materials back and forth. gotta find the right location but want one of the bases to be a weapons armory and be self sustained there and the other base for breeding and crafting. maybe use the third base to setup a living castle i'm not sure.
You can build outside of the blue circle just set structure deterioration rate to 0 in world settings and he used one palbox for humans one for the pals
You can use large ceiling lamps unlocked at level 47 for some crazy area lighting affects above where the lamp is placed. You can make the whole floor of your base light up or specific areas you'd like to decorate such as bathrooms and TV's.
People are insane man. I started to build a cool base, its one of my favorite things to do in survival games but after my first few run ins with pal pathing issues I just decided to keep it simple lol. I wasted hours trying to get pals to stop wandering around in-between jobs so they don't get stuck on anything and keep themselves from doing their jobs when somethings comes up. I had an Anubis at one point that would wonder off to the same exact rock every time he finishes his duties and would climb on top of it and get stuck until he starves. Now i keep things extremely simple so im not forced to reset my pals every time come back to base.
That final town is beyond crazy only bad thing seemed like every pal was stuck jormuntide ignis was glitched into the wall every plantation pal was stuck in the picking up position, but other then that the look of that town is crazy
Really cool vidéo, im more of a fonctionnal / optimal builder so its interesting to see people that take a more creative approach to building or even make both work. One little note tho on the more competitive side of the video, i've noticed that some of the contestants were using mods (especially no building restriction) wich is something you might want to consider in the ranking
he was on xbox from what I can gather. no mods. He made a comment a few comments up stating he placed two pal boxes next to each other and the only thing he did outside of that was turn deterioration down to 0 which is fair imo. doesn't effect the build, only the viability of the base after it's been shown off, for the areas outside of the base limits.
MyLittleLando is a BEAST for making that Paltopia base. And on the Waterfall Mountain too; the inclines and cliffs at the very top would make it a challenge to make everything functional off of only one palbox, but extending the usable land with two+ palboxes involves great use of the terrain.
No you have the ability! Just like everything in life you have to take what you’re given and make the best of it! Palworld didn’t exactly give us many tools to make things look “great” or work properly. The beauty about videos like this is the sharing of ideas from others and building upon them. Add your own twist on it. Let those creative juices flow! Creativity is innate in all of us!
I feel the same exact way. To be fair creativity exists in various magnitudes in everyone. It is never 0, but it could be 0.0000000000000001 (practically 0). That's how I feel - about my creativity anyway, but it's worth trying anyway.

And just think, all of these amazing builds were done within less than a month of the game's Early Access launch. The build mechanics and options are still limited and a bit finicky right now, compared to what I am sure they will be eventually, and yet people could make such amazing things. So just imagine what people will make once the build options have been expanded upon, and the build mechanics fleshed out and polished so things are easier to place with more precision. I'm really looking forward to Moxsy revisiting a challenge like this again at a later date, once the build potential of the game has evolved. I'm sure we'll see some truly wondrous things.
the 2nd showcased base actually messes up a bunch of the node spawns in that location. I should know, I had tons of issues with it. Than again, it's a hard place to build into properly, due to the damn bump in the middle, that makes placing the palbox correctly a pain in the a$$.
When I first started playing I built a base that probably would have gotten me a prize here. It was a huge house with tower and decorated nicely and worked so well but then I learned the hard way about building with wood. Decided to not build anymore until I unlocked everything. Almost there
Haven't played but are you sure #1 didn't used mods? Mods are allowed? I don't see those signs, construction decorations and soccer/football goal be in vanilla 12:16
The person that won first place, they must've turned off building decay or something because they're building outside base lines everywhere... It's an incredible base! But not really fair against competition working strictly within pal box base lines.
Its a really cool set of bases. I am put off by the fact that almsot every single one of them went well outside the bounds of their palbox. This isnt doable in a normal/standard server or unmodified multiplayer server. Would really have loved to see some of the bases that adhered to that rule.
not true? You can build outside the limits of a base - but only certain things. He's most likely on xbox given the UI so no mods there. Weird how people are trying to find ways to tear this down as if this wasn't a well deserved win.
Holy smokes!! 1- I didn't know you can capture every npcs in the game. I recentely started capturing poachers (got 2 so far) so I can use them as guards. 2- I tried capturing Grizzbolt from the tower before and I couldn't. What kind of palball do I use for that? 3- Do we get enough tech points to unlock every tech in the game? I'm guessing just from leveling isn't enough so how do I get more? 4- Now I have to put more efforts into decorating my base. Lol.
Number 1 was insane. Congrats to that person and well deserved. Does anyone know if mods were used for that? There were a lot of items i havent seen before, but granted, im only level 30
Hey Vilestride! I’m on Xbox so no mods outside the game! The only setting in world settings that needed to be changed was “Structure Deterioration Rate” change that to 0. This allows your buildings outside the blue base zone circle to not disintegrate. This will allow your base to feel less cramped as once you build all your “pal structures” it doesn’t leave a lot of room for other builds & creativity. I used 1 pal box to pick up and move, place a storage container and transported materials from one base to the other so I could build without having to go back and forth. I All items are in game! Just be sure to have one base for farming ore always because you’ll need it! The plants unlock will let you place Ivy to add dimension to your buildings! Hope this helps and hopefully you got some inspiration for your base!
My friend has been playing Ark: Survival Evolved for the last 5 years and he used to only play PvP but finally he's giving in to building pretty bases instead of useful ones...on Palworld obviously.
So does your base area space(the blue border) increase as you level up your palbox? Because some of these builds seem much bigger than the space i have
meanwhile, I decided to try to build a genuine fort in the very initial starting area, and apparently gathering pals go crazy if they are inside and on a foundation want to gather resources that still spawned under the floor Q_Q I built the whole thing up before putting pals inside just to find out they just glitch out unable to decide what to do
Dude your base looked sick! Did you turn deterioration off? And would it be possible for you to upload your video? Would love to see a full tour of your base

I did a similar thing to you at that spot. Love it. I built up about 9 stories on one side and 6 stories on 2 others so I have 2x of every assembly line and all the rocks still functional. Plus multiple breeders and ranches and then rooftops all around I put viewing pens for my shinies. I love the location
@@nunosantos2169 Wow I can believe you made all that even with deterioration on, huge props. Tyvm for sharing the video, looks even more amazing after being able to see everything :D
@@alanlippincott2802 Its pretty amazing to me that you were able to fit that much in that tiny spae along with breeders and ranches lol. I'm able to build up several stories but theres a gap in the middle since thats where the palbox is. Maybe I should do something like that and split them up on different sides, ty for the idea :)
How do they have so much area to build? Does the circle eventually expand? I’m only 2 days in and level 26 but doesn’t seem like my circle is close to that big.
Are those bases functional? Because I tried to create a castle, but the Pals refused to go through the doors, even after eliminating the door and leaving them a 4x3 hole, they still insisted on surrounding the base, leaving the territory and getting bugged, or even trying to go through the walls few blocks from the hole.
No you can just turn down the decomp of items to 0 and the. Build outside the base area without problems. You can see as he is in the buildings where the blue line for his pall box is.
the #1 base must have turned off structures deterioration in settings which allowed them to build outside of palbox ring without it collapsing over time.
The way they populated the town with npcs is insane

I used 1 pal box to pick up and move, place a storage container and transported materials from one base to the other so I could build without having to go back and forth. I
All items are in game! Just be sure to have one base for farming ore always because you’ll need it! The plants unlock will let you place Ivy to add dimension to your buildings! Hope this helps and hopefully you got some inspiration for your base!
Are the submission videos linked anywhere? I would love to see more of the most unique cavern base
Whats that cavern base coordinates tho? willing to explore it and see what i can build there :)
It's the place where you begin the game.
Where were the palboxes placed for the last base?
My friend has been playing Ark: Survival Evolved for the last 5 years and he used to only play PvP but finally he's giving in to building pretty bases instead of useful ones...on Palworld obviously.
this is amazing makes my rock hut seems so caveman!
I thought my bases were cool but these are truly next level
So does your base area space(the blue border) increase as you level up your palbox? Because some of these builds seem much bigger than the space i have
So are you able to make your bases side by side eachother to make like a super base idk how you vould make that town otherwise
What's impressive is that they built outside the circle which mean they had to bounce back and forth getting more materials to build wow thats crazy
You can carry materials on you and build outside the blue zones anywhere
Do you have any plans to tour your waterfall base for us? I'd love to see how you built that one.
How did he do this town in the end with the size and pal restrictions per base?
why u guys seems like have a bigger size of base? which is the blue line that appear when we create palbox. is there any tips?
two bases directly next to each other. once you level your base up you can have up to three bases.
Is that cavern from the starting area??
Did 1st place have an expanded building radius??
That Castle town is crazy!
i hope that last guy can do a RUclips tutorial on how he made his base
The only issue I get when making big bases when the building is slightly out the blue line it always breaks since they deteriorate over time
Did the contest allow to build well outside the Palbox radius?? I thought the point was to keep it within that range!
Where is the first base located on the map?
How is the first builder able to keep structures outside the base perimeter without them breaking?
Best base location : The right side of the ise wind island . There is a natural ramp -put a wall and dor there , and that s it. Try it ;-)
meanwhile, I decided to try to build a genuine fort in the very initial starting area, and apparently gathering pals go crazy if they are inside and on a foundation want to gather resources that still spawned under the floor Q_Q I built the whole thing up before putting pals inside just to find out they just glitch out unable to decide what to do
3rd place? i didnt even expect to be on the video XD
Dude your base looked sick! Did you turn deterioration off? And would it be possible for you to upload your video? Would love to see a full tour of your base
@@ashizmandal7819 ruclips.net/video/6fDnp1PguZ8/видео.html deterioration was on i updated the base since this maybe ill start doing some more videos ty for the love
How does the exrltensions outside base not deteriorate?
Where is the coal and ore mountain location? Coordinates please
Do people disable the borders for these? Cause my builds get destroyed outside the small circle
You can turn off building degradation in the server settings before opening up your world
Wheres that Cavern located tho???
Yay I’m Honorable mention number 2, thanks Moxsy
Sick base, what spot is that?
@@trevorcooper3181 thanks! it’s an island on the mid-left of the map, the map location is in the video on my channel that I uploaded for Moxsy
Lighting shines a radius not blocked by objects like walls, floors, and doors.
what are the coords for that first base?
How do they have so much area to build? Does the circle eventually expand? I’m only 2 days in and level 26 but doesn’t seem like my circle is close to that big.
two bases directly next to each other. once you level your base up you can have up to three bases.
I love the creativity of all of these!
Love this type of video!
Are those bases functional? Because I tried to create a castle, but the Pals refused to go through the doors, even after eliminating the door and leaving them a 4x3 hole, they still insisted on surrounding the base, leaving the territory and getting bugged, or even trying to go through the walls few blocks from the hole.
the game registers many of the bigger pals as two walls high if that helps.
Hiw do they get that much base space? Is there a way to increase the size of your bases
They set the server to not degrade outside of blue radius or stacked 3 bases close to each other for overlap
how you build so big bases my base demolish if it mot in the circle of the pal box
Turn Deterotiation off
Some very cool builds , love it :)
Can't wait til they add more detail to the base system, really let us go ham
yeaahhh we need some sort of "fine wood" base tier, as well as pillars/railings.
Anyone know the co-ordinates for the final base, absolutely crazy btw well deserved win
Did the guy at number 1 mod his game to expand the Palbox base area?
No you can just turn down the decomp of items to 0 and the. Build outside the base area without problems.
You can see as he is in the buildings where the blue line for his pall box is.
Thanks for this tip!@@coffeedudeable
the #1 base must have turned off structures deterioration in settings which allowed them to build outside of palbox ring without it collapsing over time.
I think they pretty much all did.
yeah he said he did exactly that in one of the comments above
At -80, 195 I tried to build but half of the tower wasn’t loading so I fell through the mesh and died😢
I just built my house in the cave waterfall at -17,-94 I wish I had built it sooner to try to submit
