You have done a lot since I last looked in on your channel Matt. It all looks good. You're not alone in doing little bits here and there, all part of the fun.
Hi Matt, your problem station might give you more room if you went for an island platform, eerrrrmmm Great Central Railway style and otch one of the tracks over a bit. I know it means relaying one line but you'd have a platform on each line then. Then you could always run a storage siding on the outside of one or both running line. Wouldn't even need a crossover if you didn't want too.............Just an idea. All the best Dave.
Nice update. Its all looking good. I'm with you with using the simple points. No mistake. We do bits on different parts of the layout to keep ourselves motivated and not bogged down in one area. Keep going. 👍 Happy Modelling
Nice layout update there Matthew especially the transformation from a class 57 to a class 47 nice to see the class S160 running around the layout there's still a lot of work to be done and it's nice to see you at the end to explain on what's going on at jubilee Road with your projects.
Great update overall here Matt, some good work overall and some good ideas, your not the only one who has been buying more stuff, I myself have been buying quite a bit this month, it’s mainly been sound decoders that I have been buying ranging from hornbys HM7000 ones to ESU loksound, locomotive wise I picked up one of the new black 5s from hornby, the BR late crest one named The Glasgow Highlander, it’s my first black 5 as I have never owned one before and it’s a very good model, keep up the good work Matt.
Nice update. About the diesel running session, I'm not saying don't do it, but if one GWR steamy could rudely worm her way in, I can withstand to watch it.
Perhaps with that station of yours you could single the whole line, and then at/near the station add a point to create 2 lines, one of which (that goes into the station) is truncated, possibly with overgrown sleepers to perhaps imply an old extension, meanwhile the other line could become overgrown, wooden sleepers and make it a freight only line, with a reverse loop, perhaps run nuclear trains or aggregate trains in there rather than container rakes
Nice one, matt. Was that station on the branch line you said you didn't know what to do with? Maybe put a couple of siddings/dissused sidings, or you could even have some abandoned trains or carriages.
Great update Matt. Not a clue what to do with that area although do you need another station platform? Like yourself I would think about it until I came up with the right scene. Atb Andy
With the branchline section I think removing the platform would be the best idea and add some other details in place. Alternatively modify the platform area to make it more believable that it has a suitable (modern day) passenger link with the Cliffton Valley narrow gauge railway line.

Yea I am getting on with it. Thank you 😊

Yea I see what you mean. That would look good
Great Work Matt look forward to the diesel running session hope to hear another steam session with the Cambrian Coast Express
Thanks Terry 😊
You had better hope we don't get the extremely hot summer that is predicted! Thanks for uploading.
I hope not haha. Thank you 😊
Nice update.

Always good to by new things for the layout haha 😊
The S160 is one of my favourite locomotives. I have ridden behind one at the Epping Ongar Railway and very much enjoyed it.
It's one of my favourites as well 😊
Would be nice for a river flowing under the line with small bridge . . . . Excellent progress Matt.
Not done a river on the layout before would look good 😊
Nice update. About the diesel running session, I'm not saying don't do it, but if one GWR steamy could rudely worm her way in, I can withstand to watch it.
Thanks Kelly

It is on the branch line. Yea good idea

I will come up with something at some point. Thanks Andy

Yea would be nice to have a link between the both lines
Add a bay platform to the station above the 009 or some way to have 009 wagons tip ballast into oo gauge freight train
Yea that could look good 😊
Take your time or you’ll make a mess of something!!
Yeah very true 😊
