@@UndergroundEric Well please don't be. Your channel is unique ( I have seen loads of channels ), you are engaging and funny and you are an extremely talented modeller.
Eric! Whether it was intentional or not, that ending was a masterclass in RUclipsry! I don’t know how many people I speak for, but I’m sure I’m not the only one... We avid, modelling-content consumers watch these layouts come together and live vicariously through your experiences. We’re right there with you for the moments of inspiration, creativity, and learning, as well as the times of deliberation, doubt, and the occasional 'tear it up and start again.' I think we’re fulfilled by these ups and downs just as equally because we all fear the day that a RUclips layout creator says, 'That’s it, I’m finished. Now I’m just going to run trains.' On a personal note, as guy who grew up on the Met line, your layout brings me so much joy. So, we’re here with you, buddy-ready and excited for the next chapter! Onwards and upwards!
Well great to have you back, and some great modelling, then bang you pulled it apart, i am still in shock but knowing you it will turn out better, cant wait for next installment 👍😎
Hi Eric. Fantastic bit of modelling. Brilliant ideas with the low relief and mirrors. But wow you destroyed it all. Thought I always kept changing my mind but you leave me standing.🥺 With your talent I think we can expect something special ay. Thanks for sharing Eric Thumbs up thumped 👍 .... Pete....
Great to have you back in random mode! I think you've made the right choice, the way in which the present/past layout developed as you made it up would probably not have given much "play value" when "complete" (though they never are). Your new plan looks super and, having been planned as such from the outset, should work well and give plenty of satisfaction to operators. Looking forward to seeing the AGR video. Keep on keeping on!!
The layout when all in the cabin before with all the modules was pretty fun to play with but tbh it was a bit much. That and i couldnt store the new boards needed to exhibit it, needs must and all that eh!
To fill the space between the fuel point and the OOC depot, you could realistically have an oil and sand store for the loco’s. If you’re fuelling, you’re sanding.
Excellent update and the OOC depot looked fantastic for as long as it lasted! 😂 but like the real thing it will be redeveloped and something exciting will come of it I’m sure, eagerly awaiting your next plans for the future mate 😃👍 cheers Darrell
Hi Eric, fantastic work with depot, shame it had to go but that’s the joy of modelling, onwards and upwards. Saw Harefield at Rapido ex and wow! Looks great on camera but even better in the flesh, look forward to seeing it again in the future. Graham.
looking at the diagram of the cabin, this works much better and gives you that extra space. Regarding the Old Oak Common module, build a bolt on diorama for it because tis layout is going to grow. And yes, so glad you're back, I do love my Underground
@UndergroundEric - That corner is looking so much better. It is 'filler' if it is permanent and 'holder' if it is temporary. However you are crazy to do so much work and then wreck it all. Taking 'place holder' to an extreme!
Wow Eric it looks amazing, fantastic work, really fits in and a great looking area for loco storage, the backscene looks good ,I think a a meadow backscenes from peco would have looked good to give a depth but other wise amazing , great Eric, 👍
Eric you can put some smal mirrors in the shed on the other sides of the doors and then the big mirror on the back. That shud make the shed to get an infinity feel whit the wall just keep on going forever to the back.

Ah...I dream of having a Met. (LT) layout with brown T Stock carriages, Metrovick Bo-Bos and some Pannier tanks. to take me back to my schooldays; possibly with a GC joint connection enabling the occasional Black 5 from Nottingham. never to be at my time of life.
Hi Eric, I was gutted as I could not come and meet you in person at the AGR open day.. best laid plans and all that.. However to make Anthony happy I have just bought a new tooling Hornby Black 5 from him, which will be going off to TMC for weathering and fettling. Looking forward to seeing the video of the event and the Harefield exhibition layout.. When is the Chesham show as my Mother in law lives in Chesham so could be an excuse to come down..
