Great review Matt, that list view looks handy. I have the ace 2 we’re the keypad and buttons under the panel view are fixed so there is no list. The plug in controllers are worth having as they make control much nicer but only have the first five functions at hand. I read that an improved version is on the way with more function buttons, don’t know if I’ll be able to use one of those yet.
Interesting review, Matt, and well presented. What prompted you to buy a new DCC controller though? What make of Controller are you replacing and why did you choose this particular one? Seems more expensive than many but I’m not clear on its advantages over the competition.
A good video here Matt, overall a very good controller and one I might consider in the future, right now I don’t have any dcc equipment although it is something I’m wanting to look into at some point
Would I change my controller? Well I only have three digital locomotives at the moment, although this will change after the London Festival of Railway Modelling!!
What function are you looking for with USB connectivity? The 3 can currently receive firmware updates via the mini usb port in the back but currently doesn't connect to pc control software

My controller is the ANEMODEL LF101. It controls in both digital AND analog.

Hi Matt is the USB now a working feature on the controller now, on the early version the USB function did not work Regards Alan
