Personally I have not had to battle with dandruff too much so most of these recommendations are based on what has worked for my husband, who’s prone to dandruff and these tips, hacks and products have served him super well! I suggested these to him after a lot of research and have over time, have become an integral part of his routine.
1️⃣. I used the Nizral shampoo which I got from an Indian pharmacy for about Rs.320. You’ll get Nizoral in pharmacies worldwide. In case you can’t the exact brand, just ask for ketocanozole shampoos.
Linked here - www.flipkart.com/nizral-dandr...
2️⃣. If you’re prone to dandruff, it’s important to know that it’s a relapsing condition, meaning it can come back. This is why, you’ll need to stick to a routine with consistency throughout.
3️⃣. There literally were no scalp exfoliants until a year or so ago but I’m so glad that’s not the case anymore. Deconstruct’s Anti Dandruff Serum comes with 2% salicylic acid that breaks down the dandruff scale gently. If you plan on using this, use it on a clean scalp, on towel dried hair post hair wash as a leave on.

4️⃣. You cannot fix the hair without fixing the scalp so it’s so important to address the dandruff first and trust me, once you do, the hair will automatically turn to less brittle and less dry.
5️⃣. And lastly, avoid oils if you can, especially heavy ones like olive oil. If you really want to use an oil, try a tea tree oil a light weight jojoba oil. Use it on your hair lengths and avoid the scalp, and always apply on a clean, not a dirty scalp.
You may need prescription based drugs if OTC doesn’t work for dandruff.

Hey could you make a video on psoriasis also? Because both conditions are different. And for very dry hair ends and kind of easily prone to oily scalp combo..... Low porosity hair
I used minimalist serum as per ur recommendation for falling hair...it also helped in indirect way ..
And added few drops of teatree oil in hairpacks
I stopped oiling my hair everyday instead used minimalist serum
..
I still have dandruff but it's reduced than before
Tarini can you suggest me a Good Budget friendly Sunscreen for Dry skin which has no white cast? Please I need this asap. I'm very new to the skincare world and I've Very little idea about what to use. As I know Sunscreen is so important so I'd start with it hence I'm seeking your advice❤ Please Dear
Can you tell me which brand jojoba oil you used?

Girl your hair shine better then my career 😭😂
😂😂
Tarini you are literally the only non dermatologist youtuber who has said that hair oils should not be applied on scalp when having dandruff, but it should be applied on lengths. Or else every other youtuber I see says to apply oils like coconut oil on scalp to treat dandruff. Thank you for doing proper research before putting out a video. Hats off ❤️
❤❤❤
For real
What! I have been oiling my scalp for dandruff issue for a long time 🙄
She did ask to apply on scalp 💁🏻♀️ n did mention to keep the scalp healthy…just not apply the heavy ones like castor oil❤
@@tajung6667 And that is exactly why your dandruff issues are not going for "a long time"
nizral is the shampoo prescribed by my doctor for dandruff treatment and it has really worked. thank you for your hardwork and research for giving us such amazing content
Me too in my childhood I used it
Is that shampoo for oily hair/Scalp? Can I use it?
@@Be.the.change.111 mine is oily scalp
@@anjumolshaju6917 then I think I can use it!!! Thank you 😊
How long do you leave it on for
Never thought I'd say this to a person in the internet but this lady right here you guys, I trust her blindly. I don't even trust many youtubers who make tiktok-like partially informative videos in scrubs who claim to be dermatologists (not questioning their degrees but again it the internet).
I suggested a facewash, sunscreen to a friend from tarini's videos and she mentioned both the products to her dermat, and the dermat literally said these are her top recommendations after her in house products.
That's absolutely correct.. every word she said.. coz my dermatologist suggested me the same.. and gave me ketokonazole with tar.. and salicylic acid works great..
Oh my god, I love your hair. It looks so shiny and healthy.
I used mustard oil mixed with vitamin e capsule and it helped so much in dandruff and has also given me shiny hair.
Please tell me the steps and how to apply
Homemade mustard oil or any brand
@@wrenj4957😂 really my mother had been using it on her face for years and her skin colour is so good .
I figured out this routine around 6 months back, since then I'm loving it no dandruff. I apply homemade oil ( coconut oil+curry leaves+henna) on lengths first and leave it for about 2 to 3 hours but just apply oil to scalp 10min before bath. This reduced my dandruff, dry hair issue. I m loving my hair now
Her Voice >>> ❤
You have such a healthy hair that I can't keep my eyes off it
can you make a video about silky and shiny hair care routine please 🥺.. your hair is so amazing😍
I use deconstruct anti dandruff.. Its really good, but i apply on dry hair instead of wet hair, after shampooing.
This is off topic but why is her voice so soothing? 🤍
I'm guilty of using olive oil when i had dandruff and its the worst thing you can do for your scalp. Olive oil provides a perfect breeding environment for fungi and bacteria caused due to dandruff.
And yet the amount of videos you see on youtube that suggest using olive oil is insane
Glad you are teaching the right thing💓
Coconut oil is also a big no for dandruff
Tried and tested😅
Her advice is literally so legitimate. I had consulted my dermatologist for dandruff about 2 years ago, and even he told me to use Nizral. It does work trust me 💯❤️
How many Times in a week?
Really I want to ask that this nizral shampoo can be used in every hair types ...or is there any side effects
As a stylist of nearly a decade, I can share with you you, that you are not supposed to apply harsh hair shampoo on your hair.
I have noticed hairlines of so many people, and I noticed that people who were using strong shampoo cleansers generally had poor hairline.
So I recommend only to use gentle shampoo only. I personally use and suggest to use litttleextra coconioon shampoo only.
Also, do warm oil massage twice a week as it improves circulation and encourages healthy hair growth.
recommend shampoos please
She is a spammer bro 😂 don't believe she is in almost every comment section @@isaacsamuel997
like u i also use littlllextra shampoo only, so nice
Your advice helped me m so thnkful to u after 10 yrs of struggle now m able to get rid of dandruff ..thnk u so much
Nizral is strong and I had hair loss, I used it 15 years back. Need to try it out again I guess.
Please keep sharing these honest and budget friendly options if you use
Really needed that thank you so much ❤️❤️
I could keep listening to u forever Your voice is soo soothing damn😍😍
Why is her voice so amazing
She should start an ASMR channel fr
Hello! This helped me so much. I’ve had scalp issues and not treated them for 4 years other than dousing my head in coconut oil or castor oil. It makes so much sense hearing that makes it worse and that salicylic acid helps cause I’ve used a sample of the clean rinse from Sunday Riley and it felt wonderful. I didn’t know I had to continue treatment once cleared :( no wonder. I am quite impoverished and can’t afford much but could you advise how to keep my hair from being super dry from washing so much? I have curly blonde hair that’s dry and prone to breakage and it’s been breaking bad but I can’t get the products I need. What oil is okay for the hair/ scalp when you have dandruff? Thank you if you read this and for this video it means a lot knowing more about this condition I’ve struggled so long with
Onion juice mixed with curd both in the same proportion or you can take onion juice 2/3. works best for dandruff if someone doesn't wanna use different products
I have been waiting for such info for all my life. Can't thank you enough for this ma'am. Much love ❣️
First of all you looks so beautiful ❤
Tarini really really really greatful for these tips as I had dandruff at extreme level never in control from past idk how many years and even after consulting my doctor no results I saw but after some of your tips I'm almost in control of my dandruff nd now I'll stick to these regime for sure, thanks once again ❤❤
I love your voice it’s super soothing
Leave everything, your voice is truly amazing 🥰
Thanks for making this video. You're really pretty
Could you pls do a video on how to grow longer lashes ...because I really trust your content...that's why I would be really grateful to find ways through which I can grow my lashes from a legitimate source.❤
This is what I do for my hair growth: I begin my day with mild exercises. For breakfast, I have omelette, almonds, and idlis. When I come back from work, I gently massage my hair. At night, I apply a few drops of liitllexttra reactivaate serum to my hair. Just doing these steps has helped my hair grow nicely.
Love all your vids but please keep the mic a little further, i can hear the tiny breaths and i dont know if its only me but its really bugging me. Your contents are great which is why i always try to watch but then i ended up not finishing the video because of that. Thank you!
Am in love with ur hair 👀❣
your hair is gorgeous!
Damn girl your pretty hands!!❤
India has so many awesome products that USA do not :(
Nice video.I use Selsun anti dandruff shampoo from Abbott which works great on dandruff and itchy scalp.I personally don't have problem of dandruff but whenever i get i use that. This shampoo smells good though.btw more love❤from Maharashtra
Please make a video about types of sunscreens(physical chemical silicone mineral…)and their differences❤
I’ve been having a lot of drandruff so I’m gonna try this . Thankyou
So true heavy oil worsens dandruff
I must say you have said everything correctly about dandruff! I use the same shampoo and only shampoo that has worked. But it relapses if i stop using. Curd works wonderful too for dandruff prone scalp and condition the hair wonderfully. However no oil seems to actually work.
This is really a magic shampoo … dandruff goes away just in one wash 😍
It really is!
Hi @akshaya did this make ur hair dry
.. also is there any shampoo that removes dandruff and still not makes dry & frizzy.
But in the long run it could cause hair loss ..my doctor said this to me
@@simivarghese8241do you know how long can we use it? And can we use it once in a month?
Your voice is like ASMR❤
Plz make a full week hair care about this for working students like me 😢
My scalp was going so dry 2 weeks ago, I began to eat celery sticks with dressing. Problem gone and hair and scalp were so happy that they hydrated with in 1 hour and itchiness stopped.
I don't know how many times I have commented in your videos.. they are amazing informative and your Skin your Voice and the way you try first before suggesting is absolutely amazing 👏 ❤🎉🎉🎉.
Please tell which color have you done ????
Good tips 👍 howeve, kindly check the mike next time you are doing voice-over. I could hear the sound of wet sound saliva ,since the moke seemed too close while speaking 🔊
dandruff is a signal of lack of Calcium, same as the chapped lips are due to the lack of B12 vitamin
This shampoo is my go to whenever i hv dandruff🙌
How to use it dear?
Like do we need to leave it on our scalp for some time?
Selsun is the best shampoo for dandruff, and it's affordable ❤ thankyou!🥰
Didu please share your detailed hair care routine ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mam.. I had voted for best influence💖
I tried the nizral shampoo and the deconstruct serum..and trust me this works 100 percent..i had severe dandruff and extreme hairfull which has reduced 90 percent just with 2 weeks of usage...thankyou tarini..you are the bestt❤
Ive noticed that my scalp turns really dry and flakey if i wash my hair without oiling it prior
Same! it becomes even worse when I don't oil my hair and just wash it, tho coconut oil works best for me
Omg same! Just realized after I washed my hair yesterday without oiling it before
Your scalp will be like that because
A) you are cutting down oil. If you eat chocolate everyday you will crave chocolate for fewdays and then back to normal. Stop using oil and give your scalp to get used to new routine
B) You don't heard of conditioner. Conditioner keeps your hair , scalp moist enough and hydrated
@Ataul karim a) some people naturally have dry skin and scalp. Food cravings are no comparison to your skin type.
B) you're not supposed to apply conditioner on your scalp. Please read the instructions before using any product
@@blusclus483 by food comparison I meant. If you stop using oil immediately you will have dry and flaky for sure because your skin is used to it! It's like a drug withdrawal symptom. Cut it down but slowly not immediately.
And yes you don't have to apply conditioner on your scalp
Beautiful hair, beautiful skin, beautiful girl :) ❤ your channel
Thank you so much ❤❤wanted this from long time ❤️🥰
I just love your hair and thickness of your hair 😍 plz tell how to get thick and healthy hair .
Tea tree oil is the best remedy...but just apply oen or two drops in carrying oil
Should we use the shower filters to reduce hairfall or they are not that important?
I have struggled with dermatitis for last few months. I suggest you to use professional shampoo like redken , pureology, ouai etc. You may use scrub only a month. Reduce stress level.
You have beautiful hair and skin, you’re just all over gorgeous. Please tell me which shampoo you recommend for daily use, I am in need of moisture and shine. Thanks!
I use as i am dry & itchy scalp shamp, just need to use it every 4-5 months when i get dandruff, so a bottle can last me 2-3 years.
I got rid of dandruff by using besan (chick pea flour) mask, I use it every time before hair wash 😊 Sometimes I add soaked mehi dana (fenugreek seeds) water to it..
What else do you mix w besan?
Tysm i was about to apply olive one 😭
The information given by you is truly amazing, as I suffered from dandruff since teenage years, people in school used to call me 'Dandra' and everyone used to give me remedies like use coconut oil, curd, lemon, Multani mitti etc, but what actually worked for me is a 'Dematologist's advice' and keeping a healthy scalp, washing my head thrice a week to remove any build ups, using Ciola, Sebolac shampoo. One more this guys dandruff is normal it's okay to have a flaky scalp don't feel embarrassed It's just dandruff? ❤❤ Kudos to your work Tarini thanks for giving the RIGHT content😊
Which hair oil you use ?
Which hair oil you use ?
i also suffered by dandruff please share which hair oil u used and shampoo too
Hi Tarini! Can you suggest any anti dandruff serum apart from this which is available outside of India???
I use this shampoo this was recommended by my dermatologist it works really well for dandruff
Which one ?
Selsun is what I use nd it works great
Hi Tarini, what needs to be done as shampoo when you are having scalp acne in hair? Would need your suggestion!!!
Please keep the mic or earphones a little away from mouth while speaking. It is little pinching to the ears, no offence
What a beauty 😍😍😍
When i get dandruff i do this nd it literally works for me... I'm not even joking:
Step1: i use comb to gently scratch/rub the scalp...to get rid off that flaky skin
Step 2: i apply oil from root to tips... specially to moisturize the dry scalp and to dry ends of the hair....and massage the scalp
Step3: after leaving it for 2-3 hours i wash it with shampoo nd then conditioner nd serum
And ngl it really does wonders to my hair to get rid of that dandruff in just 1 or max. 2 washes.
Key to have dandruff free hair is to wash ur hair accordingly... don't get lazy. That's it👁️👁️
It works for me...i hope it works for everyone....and if it doesn't work for u (which is rare🙄) then it's not my problem 👀
it's working for you because you have dandruff caused by dry scalp most people have dandruff caused due to an allergic reaction to a fungus present on our scalp and the method you're recommending is absolutely shit for majority people
You are so beautiful, you are so soft and kind
You look like Divyanka Tripathi 😊
"Run in the other direction"😅😅
Girls, gather some courage and ditch all these. make a paste of amla ritha shikakai in boiling water, cool down, apply on scalp and roots. Scrub and rinse after 30 mins. In a month your hair will adjust to the routine. You wont need chemical shampoos , or conditioning. You would need to wash your hair only once a week. Your hair would not be weighed down by the end of the week. Dandruff will go away, scalp infections will go away. You don’t need any oils as the scalp will produce just enough sebum to keep your hair balanced.
Its been 3 years since I used any conditioners, shampoos or oils, no itchy scalp.
But some ppl have a condition called seborrheic dermatitis .This is a relapsing condition .Ketaconazole ,Piroctone Olamine,Zinc ,Pyrithione can only control this condition. This dandruff is actually shedding of skin on scalp due to an overgrowth of fungus called malessezia. furfur.
Educate us about different hair oils.
please tell me the anti dandruff serum..dupe ❤
Hi..pls share skin care for dry skin.....pls suggest moisturiser?...
Please tell about the shampoo and conditioner u are using

But use red bottle only if it's so intense... Otherwise blue version should be fine.
