Where I live its logging country, all logging trucks here have dullies apart from the front axle, truck owners are very aware of updates for their trucks but, no wheel change. Pickup truck dollies fit a 1-2" steel ring between the back wheel pairs that pretty much aradicates stone pick up.
The way I have just changed my rpm range as I was doing 2600rpm @87kph in my fts 700 is fitting a 6ldmq gearbox out of a later model ruck with an over drive. I'm now doing 2150rpm at 100kph and it does not affect your speedometer.
Already been stopped by the police for speeding! I was in an 80km zone due to road works and I was doing 80 on the speedometer, but it actually was about 86! So they stopped me and had a good look at the truck and explained about the over sized tires and to be under what my speedo was reading to compensate for the larger diameter etc. They were very pleasant and let me go with a caution.
Just binge watching a few videos while waiting for your next video. 👍🛠⚙💪

Thanks. Glad you liked it 😎
Super singles for the win, shame it isn't more common in Australia, would bring the price of tyres down and availability up.

Thank you Phil. That’s awesome to know. Is it still normally aspirated? Any improvements on fuel consumption? Was it an expensive exercise?
Sorry that was "mld6q"
@@Phil-te5mn MLD7R is a better option, or even better a ZF 9 speed.

Of course, the guest appearances by Monty and Marley made the video 😄
