I first heard Patricia play at The Green Mill in Chicago. My life changed forever that night. I named my first child Patricia after hearing her work her magic on the stage. Bravo! Ayeeeee!

She's a great pianist and I love her mellow voice.

@@citylights2765 I did that as a teenager just as a hobby to try to keep my piano in tune All about the beats and also when you don't want any beats. I never really thought about that early experience but I guess that contributed to why I became so sensitive to pianos which are out of tune

+John Venier There will never be another Bill Evans...especially at the elevations reached at the Village Vanguard with Scott Lafaro and Paul Motian. Patricia Barber would undoubtedly agree. We have something called Big Ears Music Festival here in Knoxville...lasts three full days and is dedicated to expanding one's musical horizons. It's a brain thing.

Nice playing technics and voice, but they should smile a little more... smiling is part of a pleasant show.... are they sad of playing music ? For those who don't know.. you can compare the feeling to Hiromi Uehara and the Trio Project. Other kind of music but much more pleasure to see the musicians' performance
