HA HA!! That's wonderful that your wife loves the beautiful sound from the engine and that she can fall asleep, I could listen to it for hours and never get tired of it. I live in the USA and love going to steam and gas tractor shows when I can. Put some more videos of your wonderful little tug, would love to see the area you sail it on
will be difficult, but there are people all over the world who know how to repair this old technology,or tell you how to do it yourself.I learned it too, but i had a high phone bill for some time and it took me a few years !!!
Beste laurens; ik zal proberen om de eerste start van dit jaar op te nemen, zal een mooi rookgordijn worden want hij heeft dan bijna een half jaar stil gestaan!
@whorayful @whorayful the first one you see is a check-bowl for return oil from engine to sump(tank between cylinders), the second is also a check for cooling water (engine temp must be regulated manualy)
We live in the Netherlands, in a town called Dordrecht which is also homeport of the boat. The sound is restful (my wife often falls asleep when the engine is running slow).
So where do you keep the little tug, at a lake in the USA or are you overseas, my only complaint is that the video is too short, I could listen to this for hours and never get tired of it. Do you have any videos of the outside of the tug? Love to see them.
MrGGPRI actualy its uneven worn injectorpumpcams why its running heavy on no. 1 cyl. it balances out at 200 rpm. should fix that but the cams are behind the flywheel ( 900 kg) so i havent got to that repair yet.

Very nice machine, what fluid is going through the two sight glasses? the one on the cylinder near the head almost appears to be fuel oil?
