My 14 pro max was overheating excessive on iOS 16.4.1 now that I update to iOS 16.5.1 it’s not and now it charges up to 100% with np. Keeping your device up to date is 1 solution for the problem for sure
There's no benefit of force quit apps (at least on iPhones, on android it's a different story) unless they are running in the background which is not likely. Most apps get frozen when you turn them off (not close them) so that next time you open them your phone doesn't have to launch them all over again which drains even more battery.
opening apps but focusing on one is like opening window tabs in computer (we all know tabs on pc dont do anything with performance) So the apps removal isnt rlly helping

Right now iPhone users facing this issue need to know that it’s a firmware problem currently all my family Members who are using iPhone are facing the same issue

Closing tabs on your iphone makes it run slower, they are designed to run multiple tabs at once
