@@jim191185 actually, I remember going to the track many times with my parents when we were kids. I'm 42 now and turned out just fine. My father used to let us pick horses or dogs (depending on what track we went to) and would place our bets for us. It was good times that I remember fondly. You really need to get down off that high horse you're riding.
jim this youtube model is actually super smart to do. He can gamble , win money and not lose any money because he’s generating way more money then he’s losing by doing a video on it , 121k views is a lot of money I wouldn’t be surprized if it was up around 200-500$ made on this video in just ads who knows maybe more if he’s spending even 50$ he’s still profiting not to mention he had a chance to profit from gambling as well, so the channel pays for him to gamble plus pays for his bills , I wouldn’t call that pissing away a college fund , if he was doing it and not monetizing the videos that’s one thing but he’s generating a lot of money doing this .
You guys are great! Your son is just adorable. I would walk that young man to school, so many lost children these days. Neat to see your sharing and interaction. Don't give away either coin. If anything, give them to your son to hang on to until he is older. i still have silver dollars my grandpa gave to me. If nothing else, it's a connection.
is it me or did anybody else like how the kid was all-in showing his dad how to look at the coins to make sure you don't get another realm point and throw it back in the machine that's really cool how the two of them are together doing that that's beautiful if America had more of that we truly be great again 👍
They are worth about 3 dollars melt value, I was walking down the street when I was in h.s., and I found a quarter in the gravel on the side of the road, turned out to be an 1899. Was almost 100 when I found it! Still have it after 30 years
I am a retired Marine and collector of old coins and banknotes myself. Well your coins are really nice finds, for out of a arcade game. I think it's really cool that you include your son in on the history of the coins you find. Unfortunately your prices are a little off, but that's some real history your holding awsome finds.
Great vid as always Josh and amazing find! I'm heading out to my local arcade tomorrow to play on some coin pushers... fingers crossed I find some rare coins too :) Greetings from across the pond (UK)
Wow you truly have a beautiful bond, not to mention your son had an eye for those coins I do believe here in the UK that 1944 pure silver quarter would be worth about £55 and thats a big chunk
looks like some kid got into dad's or grandpa's coin collection. I had this happen, I was selling toys at a festival and some kid bought a cap gun for $2 and he paid me in quarters, I noticed they sounded funny but I was so busy that I just put them in my pocket. Looked at them later and they were all silver. This was about 20 years ago.
@@D33Lux That too, but there is also something about coin pushers in particular. Maybe it's because you can see the riches physically before your eyes in the form of shiny coins. Maybe it's just that I played a lot as a kid (ticket ones). Who knows
Here in Newfoundland, Canada those old coins are dug up rarely. As far as I know only a handful have been found in good shape. That is a decent one. I would certainly pay $20-$30 for it.
That is just awesome! That lil man is handsome! How sweet is this video!! Bless his little heart.. Think its so cute yet smart that he checks the coins he finds! By the time he is your age that coin will be worth lots more.. Save them for car money for him lol.. Hope you have a blessed find on your next session!
The quarter is 90% silver. Its kinda worn it's worth melt value which is a hair over 3 bucks. The 1774 is a Spanish real. We used them for currency along with french and british coins til we started minting our own in 1793. A half real is worth 6.25 cents a real is worth 12 cents a 2 reales is worth 25 cents a 4 reales is worth 50 cents and a 8 reales is worth a dollar. We actually made the dollar sign from the ribbon going around the pillars on the back. At the 9 o clock position on the back it'll have a number followed by R. That'll tell you what kind it is. Neat find. I've found a few metal detecting
It is 1964 and below when both quarters and dimes are silver. That quarter is worth a little over 3 dollars in silver. It is not worth 7 bucks, that is just people trying to scam you out of money. Nice find! Keep your eyes out for the 2019 Ws!!
90% silver it’s worth like 4 dollars the 1700s coin like that is worth 40 dollars and there is a thing called the great American coin hunt where numismatist like me put rare coins back into circulation to spark interest in people and get them into the hobby
Just FYI for some of yall..quarter pushers are in arcades other places . The prizes are often cheap. Not really gambling.. as some give tickets or work off off tokens.
quarters only went to 1964, there are no 40% silver quarters, half dollars on the other hand were 40% from 1965-1969, some outside of these dates are silver such as certain proofs and special mint sets
Do not clean the 44 quarter, it will loose value if you try to clean it. Do not try to clean or polish any old coins. Will cut value up to half on some coins.
hate to break it to you, but the pre-64 quarters are 90% silver and are worth (melt value) around $3 each. Crazy they'd put a colonial copper in a coin pusher.
thank you for your videos they are relaxing ....i lost my youngest son to epilepsy 2 weeks ago ...hardest part of it was having to bury my own son..who was 26 years old...since i am disabled its hard....ALWAYS HUG YOUR CHILDREN EVERY DAY!!!!
It was cool to see you and your son at a. coin pusher. I understand you and your son want to keep that King 1700s coin but it doesnt hurt to find a replicable dealer to find out how much its worth.
Those coins are great! I would love to win that one. I collect coins and have over a thousand and have videos of them on my channel if you would like to take a look👍😉
if you know the measurements of the surface area of the taper in front....and you know the diameter or size of the quarters,,,,,you can calculate how many quarters will go into the front area that is tapered....then you can guess closely how many quarters it takes to make up the space as they spread apart towards the front.
oooh can i pick that one :P nice find . did somebody put that one in accidently or would that be a price ? nice vid ;) really love the reall coin pushers
Keep up the great videos. I went over and checked your son's channel out and as a fellow lover of hot food he does great videos maybe one day he can try the harder challenges like I did. Like the death nut challenge the toe of satan the one chip they are great challenges and extramly hard I hope you and him a great time on youtube csnt wait to see more
You got so done over with that gold bar! She moved it well back when she moved that note , but I also think the coin pusher isn’t a great design $800 was a total joke 😢
Your son looked disappointed when you offered to give it away. Maybe he should have decided since he found them all, I thought he had a coin collection started. Anyway bless you both.
How do you explain that little brown pocket knife jumping from left center to the right center and back? And where did the lighter one go? Never saw you win it.
Clickbait or not I see a dad spending time with his son and that to me is awesome
Or pissing away his kids college fund. Your dad took you to the racetrack a lot, right?

He is such a good boy sharing. I thought it was so sweet him giving you some quarters when you ran out.
Joshua there are MANY coin pusher videos on RUclips but it is your comments, professionalism and heart that makes you number one. Keep up brother
That 1944 quarter has probably been in there since 1944.
And this son is called gambling, don't ever mix it with the previous life lesson of drankin. I love you.

Idk why I like watching coin pushers so much. It's relaxing tho.
It's the RUclips algorithm.. You've fallen down the rabbit hole and won't get out of it, unless you delete your youtube history..

The Canadian quarter you found, that is a caribou,a lot of people mistake it for the Moose,I did for years, lol.
You had a great side-kick with you....
The old coin you need to save it for your son... Yep...

the quarter is 90% silver any 1964 and older
I think the baby just found a fortune with that British coin!

Often if I can't budge the side I want, I play the opposite side.

I think your correct. Take it to your local respected coin dealer and get it checked out value wise.
It's too big for a reale, it looks to be a 4 reale (closer to quarter size). MHO Chuck in NE Kansas
