Wonder Woman - 5 Things Monolith Needs To Get Right With Their Take On Wonder Woman

- Monolith Studios, the same studio behind games like Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth Shadow of War has revealed their next project, an action/adventure game based on the character of DC Comics' Wonder Woman. The groundwork for making this character work in a Triple A budget videogame is here thanks to the splendid work from film and television studios. Now it's up to Monolith Studios to decide which direction they're going to go with their take.
There's 5 basic but necessary aspects of Wonder Woman that need to be captured in order to make this game halfway competent, 5 character traits they absolutely need to nail without question. The rest is simple, no microtransactions like the fiasco the studio had with Middle Earth Shadow of War, the first single player Triple A budget game to incorporate and force such anti-consumer monetization. Follow the same structure as other popular and successful superhero/comic book games that have come before this.
Great point, this game needs to NOT turn Diana into Kratos, these characters are not the same and have different styles of operating. Flight is important though I'm worried they are gonna make her Jump which I hope not. WW needs to work IMO cause if it does Superman is possible < Flash is possible etc. I'm glad where getting a game centered around her mythos so NO interference of other characters. Batman had his spot to do that , let Diana too please.
Bruh,a flash game was possible back on the xbox 360,just watch unseen64s video on the cancelled flash game to prove it to you

circe,ares or appollo could be one of the main villains,maybe make her fight medusa as well
And also don't forget that she has energy explosive ability if she bind her bracers together
most likely going to be a stun attack
@@Himmyjewett I would actually prefer it to be her most powerful attack I mean in the movie BvS that energy attack manage to push back Doomsday and sent Steppenwolf flying. Or it could be a charging attack the more u charge it the more impact it'll release like what WW did with Ares and it sent him flying too

@@mel-el5862 yes they are but wouldn't Wonder Woman be removing her bracelets if she goes into god mode?? also dont forget the lasso the lasso is VERY useful for countering attacks and reaching faraway things
I cant wait to see the nemesis system in this game,i think the cuffs should be like a parry cause thats basically what she does,and i think there will be enemies who have guns since shes entering the human world,it probably will be an origin story because in the trailer the mother says you can be wonder woman ,indicating she is only taking the mantle for the first time,and in the description for the game it mentions that she should unite her people with the people of earth ,indicating that she just got to earth for the first time
The game is based on her island.
Hopefully they can get flying to feel smooth but exciting and not just mechanical...
@Solomon Grundy They'll probably design it the same or similar way to what they did with the dragons in Shadow of War.

I was thinking about this game. A liiiiittle bit scared about the plot point of the game, they described as Diana's mission being having to unite amazons and humans and that gave me flashbacks to 2006 crossover Amazons Attack... Hahahha HOWEVER I'm very excited about this. Monolith has put out some interviews with some of the team involved and they seem to be fond of the character enough to make a good story at her level. Also, if WW is going to have a scenario in man's world it's the perfect oportunity to make Gateway City her own city in mainstream media like it was in the 90s comics. No more Washington or Boston. Can't wait to play it, hopefully it will come out in 2023. (Sorry for bad english btw)
This game could either be one of the best DC games ever or one of the worst, there's no point in-between

Dude if it's not an origin game the nemesis system , how it will work? Do you think they will transition to modern world from middle ages? I think the game will take place only in themiscyra
@Ben Dovahkiin There's nothing to suggest that the game will only take place in Wonder Woman's homeworld. Also, a transition in time periods is possible.
@@AvidAlchemist There is a synopsis...although it seems to include both words.What I mean by transition is in assets, the company has assets for medieval gameplay , modern cities they would have to start from scratch. Just look the transition from Witcher 3 to cyberpunk77 how much work the city was that the other parts of the game were underdeveloped.. What would you even do in modern world, fight everyday crime? How would the Nemesis system would work with this? Anyway I thought the game will be like the start of WW84. movie with a plot like Justice league SC , where would you have to defend the motherboxes with the help of the other races against alien threats. That would be a lot closer to Shadow of War gameplay. I just don't see them make a cookie cutter superhero game like spiderman. That's my opinion
@@bendovahkiin8405 I wasn't referring to a modern day setting. A World War would work all the same. Either way if they don't utilize all the character's abilities then the setting chosen will be wasted regardless.

I would love to see Cheetah on the game because she is one of my favorites super villains! 😍 I loved so much the look of Cheetah on Wondert Woman 1984, I wished the actress Kristen Wiig could have more prosthetics on her body as Cheetah to make her more realistic and I wished to see her more on the movie! 😍

Superman game... they do the flying like anthem.. the fights like arkham where you counter with a heat blast or ice breath or others.. and between 3 planets.. packed to the brim like gta... and a story that is more emotional like gow4 rather cerebral like batman.. it should focus on his humanity... his loss and his inability to be in multiple places.. something like a from software game where whatever choice you make.. even the best ending is bitter sweet at best... but supermen needs to remain hopeful.. and never lose hope in it... like all might, "its fine, why? because i am here"..
