Nigerian Toasted Bread

Bread as desire
butter 1 to 2 tbsp
Onion 1 medium bulb
Egg 3 to 4 or as desire
Pepper 1 to 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Yes you can toast with your frying pan, grease with little veg oil and allow to heat, then place your bread and press with your spatula and allow to toast side by side

I thought one has to grease the toaster with butter. Because the last time I made it, the bread was glued to the toaster because I didn't grease the toaster and the outer part of the bread with butter

I usually grease the one side of the bread, that's the side that sits on the toast and put the fillings on the blank side that way it doesn't stick

There is already an applied butter on the inside of the bread that will yeald the oil as a separator and also the toaster I used here is non stick, sorry for the late reply, hope this helps

Amarachi, you can get a skillet and add a few drops of canola or veggie oil. And then deep-fry and mash. But this means you must treat the fillings separately. You should fry the egg, fish mix separately until almost done.
Then insert into your bread, then deep fry and mash with just very little oil. You'll get something similar.
