Hey there, I am so excited. I finally got my icon doll. Just a few years later than yours. I had never heard of them until you had this video. I got an emerald green with awakening eyes. I made a video of her and I give you the credit of introducing this doll to me and made a video two days ago. Thank you for always posting such beautiful dolls on your show. I would not have heard of half of them if not for you. ❤

I'm in love with the purple color. I love that it's so vibrant and more on the blue side. The shimmer is also amazing. Purple is my favorite color too. She's gorgeous. I just can't get my head around the joints not matching. Little things like that not matching gets on my nerves.
I think the joints bother more people than I realized...maybe one day they'll get it together 😆

So these lotteries various co, have is suppose to be lucky draws on who will get to buy their doll because only a few were made... for now. (side eye). I'm a great disbeliever in stuff like this. but it is a good sales game. If I were running that company - You would be #1 to get a doll because of your channel .

There is one girl (name escapes me)- she makes sales pitches for a cheap ball jointed doll(s) and gets to keep the dolls. I don't know if she also gets money - but she likes the dolls so all she buys is clothing .

I love the Icon dolls sooo much. Fortunately for my wallet, I don't collect dolls of this size, but if they ever make a smaller version I may be in trouble. She is so gorgeous and I really like the outfits she comes with.

She’s really gorgeous! With the joints I believe some people were speculating that because it’s a project that started in the Volks US branch, they wanted to see if the project would be successful before they commit to making a color matched frame. I think it’s also due in part to the DD3 frame being discontinued for f3 frame, that they wanted to use up the remaining frames they have. But that’s about as much as I’ve heard. I think after a while the icon joints will the matched color, or at least I hope so haha.

Remember in the first Matrix Switch wore white which was a cool contrast to every one else in black, so your little gal could fit right into that world. I love this doll. I love how iridescent the purple is!! She is so beautiful! Her face is so beautiful!! She is a very special doll!!! I dont' often go for fantasy colours...but these Dollfie Icons are really tempting. I heard the same story about the jointing on DoA...and I have to say there's nothing that beats Volks for quality! If I ever make it to Japan, a visit to Sato or one of the Sumikas is definitely going to happen! Gosh your girl is beautiful! And yes, the lottery is very random...it's just down to luck. I've had luck with friends winning for me in the US, and I've also won direct from Volks International, but I see lots of people disappointed after every lottery...

It's nice that so many companies are making fantasy skins but I do wish it was more tan and chocolate/darker tone bjds out.
I agree with you, that's what I love about Smart Doll, they have the gorgeous cocoa and tea colors. Next I want them to do a more faithful sculpt as well 💜
