@Jordan Brooks I don’t think they do to be honest. While it’s cool to see Bowser on our side, that is far from what makes the game the best of the series man.
I was also listening to some of these themes days ago, and I was excited for the cover, I knew this medley was coming because patreons are allowed to know about upcoming remixes.
I love how he used a toon Zelda puppet to do the female choirs. It reminded me of the Final Battle from Spirit Tracks when she and Link must perform a sacred Duet to reveal Malladus’s weak point. She have a beautiful voice in this game.

I finally bought a Paper Mario game after skipping everything after Super Paper Mario, ignoring all the warning signs, and had to force myself to finish it. Extra bit: I just finished Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling a couple days ago. Go play *that* and try to tell me Origami King wasn't utter garbage.

Skipped Color Splash because it followed too closely judging by the trailers. I only played The Origami King in December of 2021. It blew me away way more than I would've expected. Thing is I love the story of Super Paper Mario more for its ambition as a Nintendo story, let alone Mario story. SPM influenced western TV series like Steven Universe's main story, especially the big twist and how villains and relationships can get real tricky when the line is blurred. (Tippi is proto-Steven) Thing is, The Origami King had a different style of engagement with emotional stakes. The tone is very different from the 1st three Paper Mario games, but nonetheless impressed me. I do wish we got more characters with arcs besides Olivia, Bobby, and perhaps that Toad Archeologist, I don't feel they needed to change the battle system though since unlike Sticker Star confetti is needed to progress but isn't like Stickers because it isn't a battle resource at all. The three resources you get are badges for attacks, bought by coins, confetti for progress, coins and ocmpletion, and coins themselves for time adding and hints. Not to mention I enjoyed the simplicity of Origami King's combat, unlike Sticker Star where its problem wasn't being too simple but rather being too reliant on resource management.
This is gonna be a bit of a h0t take,but I actually think Color Splash and Origami King are AMAZING games Disclaimer:with that,I do NOT mean that the others suck These last 2 games are fun,original and unique on their own,mostly because they play with the "Paper World"Concept and their artstyle,which is gorgeous BTW,and the use of the Outlines makes everything pop out so damn well While Sticker Star definetely RUINED the series' reputation,Color Splash and Origami King SAVED it and if they continue to develop the next instalments the same they did with these 2,I'll be happy. Sure,having more original characters would be a neat touch,but with their gameplay I'm fine. The last 2 games brought some things to the table that not even TTYD has been able to bring,and despite all the hate they are still solid and charming games that deserve all the praise I'm giving them right now. Technically even the music styles changed 64,TTYD and SPM went for more funky,Digital and synthetized tracks,Sticker Star and Color Splash went for Jazz/Big Band Themes and Origami King..... Origami King has it all It's definetely my favorite OST in the entire Mario series,so damn good The variety of genres and music styles in this game is amazing,I hope they keep going in this direction with the Mario series. God I love how dynamic this soundtrack is, jumping between different styles for each phase of the fight, and only getting crazier towards the finale.

It’s not Origami Castle, but damn, this is super freaking awesome. I really enjoyed this medley. Oh yeah, plush Bowser and plush Zelda vibing it out in The Final Battle lol. Also, I’m really liking the video format you made for this video.
The quality of the visuals here is dope, love the way you green screened yourself into the arena and even added a shadow to the ground to further place you in the scene!

this remix is excellent, I've been waiting for a remix of this song for ages and it's good that my patience payed off, now i just need a remix of the Mario and Luigi paper jam final boss (both phases) and I'll be happy, thanks Jonny, you've done your fanbase proud

The soundtrack in this game was fire, and honestly I wanted to feel the same about the gameplay. It was a very enjoyable experience of a game though.

@@markvo250 This is also my favourite 2D Zelda. This is such a shame that people are judging it only because of the Spirit Flute. Not only it corrected the problems from Phantom Hourglass, but it also have amazing qualities that makes it unique.
