If you didn't know there Is a mod about origami king that swaps Olivia and Olly, at the end of the game, Olivia says that all the world should be filled of toads.
The fact that the scribble on his origami is his evil motive actually makes a lot of sense considering it’s seen as bad to draw on origami. I also like how the fact all toads look nearly the same are brought into the plot
its also agaisnt the spiritual rules of origami to use tools. Which is why it makes sense that his generals are tools for crafting paper. Needless to say, that origami crafter toad didnt have a clue as to what he was doing.

Dang... I’m so, so happy Juno didn’t rush this. The delivery of the lines, like Olly’s final “I love you,” and Bowser’s “Whale the Origami King” are so powerful and great portrayals of their respective characters. I mean, Juno is practically the embodiment of Bowser, I don’t know how he captures the cocky, goofy, and evil nature of the King Koopa perfectly. I don’t know if you’ll read this Juno, but don’t let any haters or complainers in the comments because you make some awesome stuff. :)

For those who don’t know, in ancient and contemporary times, writing or drawing on your origami creation is generally considered taboo. Not only do the lyrics of the third phase represent this, but the whole reason of Olly’s conquest is based on this fact.

Juno, this is bloody gorgeous. The voice acting. The voice acting from you and Haley is just beautiful. Bowser's goofy threats, self-assuredness and sarcastic rage, Olivia's soft pleading, fear, and eventually grieving, and ESPECIALLY Olly's beginning villainous elegance to his growing unhingedness and rage to his bittersweet regret at the end. Especially when he goes from his tirade against Toads back to his quiet regal threats - that contrast is just brilliant. And any of his threatening lines are accentuated with pure venom in his voice. Brilliant work, both of you. The shading on the art with the bright Princess Peach to the shadowed Olly, plus the origami crowns peeking out from the bottom, and all the threatening cranes hanging from above - all parts of his dream. The references to all the Vellumentals and the Latin chanting in the background make for a gorgeous chorus. Olly's rapid-fire lyrics are threatening yet beautiful in their own way, and the "Hail the Origami King" being its own standalone without any rhymes really brings attention to his last desperation. Bowser's part in this is absolutely hilarious but beautiful. His complaints at the beginning when Olivia folds him, all his "Classic Bowser Insults" which he points out, even that little "D'oh" before the song add so many personal touches to him - this is the Bowser we all know and love contrasted with the elegant crooning of Olly. You captured their folded forms brilliantly in your art. Those dust clouds are really well drawn as well! In that intermission. Olivia's lines are delivered with such heartbreaking emotion - especially next to Bowser who's... quite a bit less concerned. Even his being knocked away is absolutely comical, but makes way for a more serious and emotional final fight. That quiet deep echo just peeking out from behind Olly's voice in that last song really add a dark edge to his song. The duet between the desperate Olivia and vengeful Olly with them singing different lyrics overlaps beautifully, and their voicing multiplies that beauty tenfold - and especially that final plea of "Please come to your senses!" And then the most heart-wrenching part - the final conversation and the much gentler Origami Overlord song. Olly's brokenness is portrayed brilliantly. Having Olivia sing that message is beautifully tragic, especially with the Craftsman writing it up in the corner (I see that Cape Feather quill) before fading into Olly's realization, his shaky laughs, then his final instructions - damn. The effort he has to go to say each word is communicated so well, and that these will be his last shows, with the straining becoming more obvious with each line. And that last change to the script at the end, that last added line - that just broke everyone. Beautiful work. Juno. Take a well deserved rest now.

15:12 always gives me chills, it's probably my favorite part of this song. The way they harmonize when they sing over eachother makes it even better. I can tell that Juno put his all into this, and it really shows with the voice acting and singing

You can tell Juno put his heart and soul into this. He loves the game and the characters. Juno is the embodiment of bowser’s goofy jokes , Olly’s intimidating nature. He is one masterful video creator. Juno probably won’t see this but he is one of the most high quality lyric channels I’ve seen. Good job!
Mark Twain once wrote: "Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured." I think Olly shows that perfectly. His anger and hatred consumed him. He spent his entire life trying to get payback for what ultimately turned out to be an imagined slight, and in the end, the only person who suffered from it was he himself. There's an important lesson to be learned here.
1.Never let your anger get the best of you. 2.Never let your anger control you. 3.Never give into your anger. Doing so will not only harm others and ones self, it can also lead to a untimely and horrifying demise.
He didn't only hurt himself he killed Bobby his sister enslaved most of Bowser's army which ultimately led to them being killed by Mario in order to stop him and terrorized everyone else in the mushroom kingdom

I love how this was heavily ad-libbed. No it's not an issue. It honestly makes a good scene even better. Example, the original message on King Olly read: "Dearest Olly, may you grow into a fair and kind king." And then in this version it's: "Dearest Olly, may you grow into a king who's fair and kind. Rule with a will bold and true. Of heart and mind." Sometimes improvision can heavily improve a scene.

I can't stop listening to this the delivery from Olly in his final moments with Olivia especially with the "I've been a terrible king to make his wish for naught" that had so much meaning and passion behind it... and then the "I've have no rights to ask you this but take the labor of your kin take my flesh into your hands and use the power within promise me that you'll undo the war that I had dared to bring let no one fear that they must hail the origami king" that hit so hard and was delivered perfectly it captured the moment just right just like in the game thank you for making this masterpiece juno 😭
The performance at the end with Olly's dying wishes is genuinely REALLY well done..... and then the video decides to hit you with a really comedic "Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe" at the worst time Jokes aside though, well done, Juno

I feel like paper bowser has a little bit more of a heart than regular bowser, since he’s helped Mario a bit more than regular bowser. Such as in super paper Mario, where he helped them defeat super dementio, and here
Wow.. I'm just speechless, An Amazing show from Juno and CO. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and in tears In the Final. What an amazing thing you've done here, Through all the hate, Pushes, and Setbacks, You made it. With an extra 5 songs too. We truly Don't deserve you Juno. Thank you so much for this wild ride of The Origami King.
A small note that no one has noted yet, throughout the phases, Olly cares less and less about keeping his sister from dying as well. In phase 1, Olly tries to reason with Oliva before the fight, and tries to justify himself during the battle with the repeated lines of "with the law of the fold transgressed." In phase 2, Olly once again tries to make Oliva help him instead, only to be denied again. However, he decides that she was too innocent, and (this part is an inference) decides that she needs to be beaten to "fix" her. In phase 3, Olly has completely lost himself to his madness, no longer caring if Oliva dies. One of the points that helped me think of this is in Olly's opening words before phase 3 "I will destroy you. ALL of you!" He doesn't care if she dies, as long as he is in the right, arguing with her here but not caring what Oliva says. He has been engulfed by his rage that his creator "desecrated" his body, with no chance of saving. Tl;Dr, Olly goes crazy and decides that he wants to kill his sister.
To be fair it's the supposed " origami masters" fault that this all happens because instead of putting the writing on any other part of his body he decides to write it on his stomach of all places

Well, tbf this is 4-5 separate songs with plenty of cutscenes in between, not a single continuous track like Dancing Mad. It's still very impressive, though.
@@Dinoman972 IIRC, Dancing Mad is also four songs (essentially). Each of the four movements has its own loop, and they advance when you beat each stage of the fight.
@@coder-un6nf True, but there's only one "cutscene" in between the loops and it's right before the final part, so I imagine it would be hard to connect the songs in a seamless way while also letting the singer(s) take a break every now and then. Also, I forgot to mention this before, but it doesn't help that the Dancing Mad bossfight is made up of like 7 different named bosses besides Kefka. They would have to either find voice actors for all those characters, which I doubt is easy, or make Kefka's VA sing the entire time, which is insane due to the previous issue.
In my opinion, this is by far the best „With Lyrics“-Song you've ever produced. Everything from the art to the voice acting is just absolutely phenomenal. 10/10

Ok, I really love this The finale sence of after Olly "woke" from his dark dream was so beautiful to watch... I mean Olly and Olivia's duet really showed me how all this time Olly really cared about Olivia🥺🥺🥺
I love how compared to the stapler battle, his voice is so different. in the stapler battle he is calm and focused, Fully confident in his beloved pet's abilities. But here he is visibly trying to keep calm but the emotions are swirling underneath his facade. Resentment towards Mario for killing The fanged Fastener, Greif for the recent death of his pet. It is now not only about the scribble on his chest. He strives to avenge the Folded Soldiers who Mario crumpled. To avenge the Legon of Stationary. And to Avenge his beloved pet.
*WARNING: COMMENT ESSAY APPROACHING* While my opinion on some of Olly’s voice acting is a bit mixed, I have to say Olly’s lines at 6:46 are definitely some of his strongest hitting points. You can hear how he truly sounds hurt at (what he wrongly interprets as) his sister’s betrayal, and in my opinion is probably the purest amount of emotion he shows prior to Origami Overlord. Phase 3 of The Final Fold is also a good segment of this Final Fold Medley, as it’s probably what sums up Olly and Olivia’s characters the best. Olivia keeps trying to reach out out and reason with her brother, always trying to look for a way for everyone to get along. Meanwhile, Olly’s lyrics do a good job at making it clear that he genuinely believes that he’s in the right and that, while clearly to a delusion degree, he really thinks that Origami Craftsman wronged him. However, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the King Olly Suite would have to be Origami Overlord. Olivia’s voice actor is very soothing, and her reading out Origami Craftsman’s message to Olly is definitely the peak of her singing. Similarly, Olly’s segments in Origami Overlord are also the best of Juno’s portrayal of him. It definitely shows Olly at his most emotional, and you can hear the regret he was feeling the moment. It definitely hit hard when Olly echoed his own recurring lyrics and claimed “Let no one fear they must hail the Origami King” when he and the Legion of Stationary spent so much time proclaiming to “Hail the Origami King”. TL;DR, Phase 3 of The Final Fold and Origami Overlord are the best parts of this song in my opinion.

I just finished this game today and I've gotta say this...It had to have been the most metal thing I have played in the Mario Franchise as a whole! Also, you, sir, are an artist. Olly's death scene hit me in the feels.

Olly is absolutely terrifying for a mario villain, yes in mario and luigi time travel is possible, but Olly humiliates his enemies, then brainwashes some of them, and then turns "living" creatures into objects enough that they can't even flinch, hell peach is basically turns into a stained glass roundal.

Ok, Bowser's voice is amazing, and Haley does a brilliant voice for Olivia, but can we all just draw our attention to KING OLLY'S VOICE?! It is amazing and captures the calm, but psychotic nature of the origami king. And the fricking high note when he says "until you fall" like WHAT?!
I love it so much. And this one is TWENTY minutes long. And we also got Handaconda in the package. You put so much work into this. Truly, we don't deserve you Juno. EDIT: I just realized on my second listening, during the second phase. "WHALE on the Origami King", sounds like "Hail the Origami King". That's genius. I love those lyrics so much.

Everyone's personality is so well expressed in this. Great job with the lines and the delivery. Olivia's desire to quell her brother, Olly's psychotic yet calm energy, and Bowser's goofy and cute yet soft and intimidating nature are all captured so well. The duet between Olly and Olivia is also well done, and the end is enough to bring anyone to tears. The lines are delivered with such will and desperation, with Olivia not wanting to fight, and Olly wanting to change Olivia and more than ever, just win, and Bowser... Doing typical Bowser things, avenging his minions and child and proving he's the best villain. The ending showing Olly's desperation and Olivia's sorrow, and even something as small as showing the Origami Craftsman writing the message make it such an emotional and bittersweet ending. It makes Olly regret his own actions, and Olivia regret fighting her brother with such will. A grand finale worthy, if not more for such a great game.
Well... After reading this... I now know that Bowser is in fact a really great king. Even if Bowser is really pushy and rowdy, and doesn't listen to his wisest minion (and probably advisor as well) whenever Kamek is indeed right, Bowser really cares for his minions and son.
I saw this live, and I just wanna say.. This is was the best Musical I've ever watched. The lyrics themselves... It's quite out of the question. Olivia and Olly singing together is just a very beautiful sound for my ears. You and Hailey are amazing singers. And after you suffered from people saying "WhErE's OrIgAMi KiNg?!?!1?", You still did it. That's some real patience and dedication. And now, you can finally rest as you oh-so-deserve. I've been quietly watching since this mini-series started. I've enjoyed each one and appreciate the sheer amount of care you put into each one. I'm glad you took your time with each one and didn't kick them out the door prematurely due to impatient fans. You should be very proud of what you've made Juno, it's quite wonderful. Nintendo needs to hire Juno to do some voice acting for the next big paper Mario game. He does very well Villain voices and embodies their passion and will for destruction very well.
I love how in recent games, bowser is seen as less as a villian, and more of a self-centered main character, maybe a swapper between protaginist and antagonist.

If you didn't know there Is a mod about origami king that swaps Olivia and Olly, at the end of the game, Olivia says that all the world should be filled of toads.
The fact that the scribble on his origami is his evil motive actually makes a lot of sense considering it’s seen as bad to draw on origami.
I also like how the fact all toads look nearly the same are brought into the plot
its also agaisnt the spiritual rules of origami to use tools. Which is why it makes sense that his generals are tools for crafting paper. Needless to say, that origami crafter toad didnt have a clue as to what he was doing.

Dang... I’m so, so happy Juno didn’t rush this. The delivery of the lines, like Olly’s final “I love you,” and Bowser’s “Whale the Origami King” are so powerful and great portrayals of their respective characters. I mean, Juno is practically the embodiment of Bowser, I don’t know how he captures the cocky, goofy, and evil nature of the King Koopa perfectly. I don’t know if you’ll read this Juno, but don’t let any haters or complainers in the comments because you make some awesome stuff. :)

For those who don’t know, in ancient and contemporary times, writing or drawing on your origami creation is generally considered taboo. Not only do the lyrics of the third phase represent this, but the whole reason of Olly’s conquest is based on this fact.

Juno, this is bloody gorgeous.
The voice acting. The voice acting from you and Haley is just beautiful. Bowser's goofy threats, self-assuredness and sarcastic rage, Olivia's soft pleading, fear, and eventually grieving, and ESPECIALLY Olly's beginning villainous elegance to his growing unhingedness and rage to his bittersweet regret at the end. Especially when he goes from his tirade against Toads back to his quiet regal threats - that contrast is just brilliant. And any of his threatening lines are accentuated with pure venom in his voice. Brilliant work, both of you.
The shading on the art with the bright Princess Peach to the shadowed Olly, plus the origami crowns peeking out from the bottom, and all the threatening cranes hanging from above - all parts of his dream.
The references to all the Vellumentals and the Latin chanting in the background make for a gorgeous chorus. Olly's rapid-fire lyrics are threatening yet beautiful in their own way, and the "Hail the Origami King" being its own standalone without any rhymes really brings attention to his last desperation.
Bowser's part in this is absolutely hilarious but beautiful. His complaints at the beginning when Olivia folds him, all his "Classic Bowser Insults" which he points out, even that little "D'oh" before the song add so many personal touches to him - this is the Bowser we all know and love contrasted with the elegant crooning of Olly. You captured their folded forms brilliantly in your art. Those dust clouds are really well drawn as well!
In that intermission. Olivia's lines are delivered with such heartbreaking emotion - especially next to Bowser who's... quite a bit less concerned. Even his being knocked away is absolutely comical, but makes way for a more serious and emotional final fight.
That quiet deep echo just peeking out from behind Olly's voice in that last song really add a dark edge to his song. The duet between the desperate Olivia and vengeful Olly with them singing different lyrics overlaps beautifully, and their voicing multiplies that beauty tenfold - and especially that final plea of "Please come to your senses!"
And then the most heart-wrenching part - the final conversation and the much gentler Origami Overlord song. Olly's brokenness is portrayed brilliantly. Having Olivia sing that message is beautifully tragic, especially with the Craftsman writing it up in the corner (I see that Cape Feather quill) before fading into Olly's realization, his shaky laughs, then his final instructions - damn. The effort he has to go to say each word is communicated so well, and that these will be his last shows, with the straining becoming more obvious with each line.
And that last change to the script at the end, that last added line - that just broke everyone.
Beautiful work. Juno. Take a well deserved rest now.

You can tell Juno put his heart and soul into this. He loves the game and the characters. Juno is the embodiment of bowser’s goofy jokes , Olly’s intimidating nature. He is one masterful video creator. Juno probably won’t see this but he is one of the most high quality lyric channels I’ve seen. Good job!

I think Olly shows that perfectly. His anger and hatred consumed him. He spent his entire life trying to get payback for what ultimately turned out to be an imagined slight, and in the end, the only person who suffered from it was he himself. There's an important lesson to be learned here.
1.Never let your anger get the best of you.
2.Never let your anger control you.
3.Never give into your anger.
Doing so will not only harm others and ones self, it can also lead to a untimely and horrifying demise.
And yet, he earns absolutely no sympathy from me.
All this for the most petty of reasons.

I love how this was heavily ad-libbed. No it's not an issue. It honestly makes a good scene even better. Example, the original message on King Olly read:

And then in this version it's:
"Dearest Olly, may you grow into a king who's fair and kind. Rule with a will bold and true. Of heart and mind."
Sometimes improvision can heavily improve a scene.

I can't stop listening to this the delivery from Olly in his final moments with Olivia especially with the "I've been a terrible king to make his wish for naught" that had so much meaning and passion behind it... and then the "I've have no rights to ask you this but take the labor of your kin take my flesh into your hands and use the power within promise me that you'll undo the war that I had dared to bring let no one fear that they must hail the origami king" that hit so hard and was delivered perfectly it captured the moment just right just like in the game thank you for making this masterpiece juno 😭

A small note that no one has noted yet, throughout the phases, Olly cares less and less about keeping his sister from dying as well.
In phase 1, Olly tries to reason with Oliva before the fight, and tries to justify himself during the battle with the repeated lines of "with the law of the fold transgressed."
In phase 2, Olly once again tries to make Oliva help him instead, only to be denied again. However, he decides that she was too innocent, and (this part is an inference) decides that she needs to be beaten to "fix" her.
In phase 3, Olly has completely lost himself to his madness, no longer caring if Oliva dies. One of the points that helped me think of this is in Olly's opening words before phase 3 "I will destroy you. ALL of you!" He doesn't care if she dies, as long as he is in the right, arguing with her here but not caring what Oliva says. He has been engulfed by his rage that his creator "desecrated" his body, with no chance of saving.
Tl;Dr, Olly goes crazy and decides that he wants to kill his sister.
Then Olly sees the error of his ways and dies in a more heart breaking version than in the game......

@@Dinoman972 IIRC, Dancing Mad is also four songs (essentially). Each of the four movements has its own loop, and they advance when you beat each stage of the fight.
@@coder-un6nf True, but there's only one "cutscene" in between the loops and it's right before the final part, so I imagine it would be hard to connect the songs in a seamless way while also letting the singer(s) take a break every now and then.
Also, I forgot to mention this before, but it doesn't help that the Dancing Mad bossfight is made up of like 7 different named bosses besides Kefka. They would have to either find voice actors for all those characters, which I doubt is easy, or make Kefka's VA sing the entire time, which is insane due to the previous issue.

I love how compared to the stapler battle, his voice is so different. in the stapler battle he is calm and focused, Fully confident in his beloved pet's abilities. But here he is visibly trying to keep calm but the emotions are swirling underneath his facade. Resentment towards Mario for killing The fanged Fastener, Greif for the recent death of his pet. It is now not only about the scribble on his chest. He strives to avenge the Folded Soldiers who Mario crumpled. To avenge the Legon of Stationary. And to Avenge his beloved pet.
*WARNING: COMMENT ESSAY APPROACHING*
While my opinion on some of Olly’s voice acting is a bit mixed, I have to say Olly’s lines at 6:46 are definitely some of his strongest hitting points. You can hear how he truly sounds hurt at (what he wrongly interprets as) his sister’s betrayal, and in my opinion is probably the purest amount of emotion he shows prior to Origami Overlord.
Phase 3 of The Final Fold is also a good segment of this Final Fold Medley, as it’s probably what sums up Olly and Olivia’s characters the best. Olivia keeps trying to reach out out and reason with her brother, always trying to look for a way for everyone to get along. Meanwhile, Olly’s lyrics do a good job at making it clear that he genuinely believes that he’s in the right and that, while clearly to a delusion degree, he really thinks that Origami Craftsman wronged him.
However, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the King Olly Suite would have to be Origami Overlord. Olivia’s voice actor is very soothing, and her reading out Origami Craftsman’s message to Olly is definitely the peak of her singing. Similarly, Olly’s segments in Origami Overlord are also the best of Juno’s portrayal of him. It definitely shows Olly at his most emotional, and you can hear the regret he was feeling the moment. It definitely hit hard when Olly echoed his own recurring lyrics and claimed “Let no one fear they must hail the Origami King” when he and the Legion of Stationary spent so much time proclaiming to “Hail the Origami King”.
TL;DR, Phase 3 of The Final Fold and Origami Overlord are the best parts of this song in my opinion.

Olly is absolutely terrifying for a mario villain, yes in mario and luigi time travel is possible, but Olly humiliates his enemies, then brainwashes some of them, and then turns "living" creatures into objects enough that they can't even flinch, hell peach is basically turns into a stained glass roundal.
The lyrics and acting is so sad, and then Bowser just reminds he doesn't care

Ok, Bowser's voice is amazing, and Haley does a brilliant voice for Olivia, but can we all just draw our attention to KING OLLY'S VOICE?! It is amazing and captures the calm, but psychotic nature of the origami king. And the fricking high note when he says "until you fall" like WHAT?!

Everyone's personality is so well expressed in this. Great job with the lines and the delivery. Olivia's desire to quell her brother, Olly's psychotic yet calm energy, and Bowser's goofy and cute yet soft and intimidating nature are all captured so well. The duet between Olly and Olivia is also well done, and the end is enough to bring anyone to tears. The lines are delivered with such will and desperation, with Olivia not wanting to fight, and Olly wanting to change Olivia and more than ever, just win, and Bowser... Doing typical Bowser things, avenging his minions and child and proving he's the best villain. The ending showing Olly's desperation and Olivia's sorrow, and even something as small as showing the Origami Craftsman writing the message make it such an emotional and bittersweet ending. It makes Olly regret his own actions, and Olivia regret fighting her brother with such will. A grand finale worthy, if not more for such a great game.
Well... After reading this... I now know that Bowser is in fact a really great king. Even if Bowser is really pushy and rowdy, and doesn't listen to his wisest minion (and probably advisor as well) whenever Kamek is indeed right, Bowser really cares for his minions and son.

I saw this live, and I just wanna say.. This is was the best Musical I've ever watched.
The lyrics themselves... It's quite out of the question. Olivia and Olly singing together is just a very beautiful sound for my ears. You and Hailey are amazing singers.
And after you suffered from people saying "WhErE's OrIgAMi KiNg?!?!1?", You still did it. That's some real patience and dedication.

Nintendo needs to hire Juno to do some voice acting for the next big paper Mario game. He does very well Villain voices and embodies their passion and will for destruction very well.
I love how in recent games, bowser is seen as less as a villian, and more of a self-centered main character, maybe a swapper between protaginist and antagonist.
