@@tonyvercetti8056 Well, the i7 is also a 2 core 4 thread CPU like the i5. Just a bit faster. I wouldn't spend too much on the upgrade, but if it's a good price and the laptop suits your needs = awesome.
@@theelevatedone2763 I got it in a yard sale (I guess they didn't know about computers because it was so cheap) then I immediately sold it for 270 dollars.

It’s a perfect laptop for a regular job! You can bring it everywhere, it’s cheap so you don’t have to worry about, it’s small and fast with very comfortable keyboard
Great review. Thanks 😊 just wanted to check what did u mean by use the m2 as cache drive? U mean express cache lenovo feature? Does it practically make sense of use cache drive even when ssd boot drive is available in the system? Thanks :)
Due to the RAM limitations, you might want to look at a T440, T540p, T450. If they are in a similar price range. I think you would be better off with a little more power.
shouldn't the always on USB be 2.0 ???? i need this laptop to be compatible with a device that uses USB 2.0 ! in thei specifications they say they have a USB 2.0 and you said it only has USB 3.0 ????
@@HaisteComputerRepair yea won't work, couldn't find any specific reasons, the 4600u cpu is rated to 16gb, but I guess that's only across two slots. The crucial website has a tool you can use to search laptop models and will tell you the max ram for that product.
Got this laptop for 47$ with 8gb of ram and 1tb ssd which is an absolute steal (and an i7 too)
That's awesome! Lucky
Which should I get? i5 or i7?

Thanks , im 13 and i got that laptop i reqlly needed this review❤
Happy to help!
I bought the laptop for $144, recertified with i5, 8 ram and 120gb Sandisk SSD, but I bought a 480gb Kingston SSD to change it
Nice well done!
I have one and it´s really good for what I usualy do.
Nice!

Most excellent!
Brought this laptop for £50 with 8gb ram free pnp eBay thought sounded a bargain and works well in 2024 still. nice video thanks
That's not a bad deal at all!
would have been nice to see you try minecraft on there :D
Great review video, +1 sub
Thanks! I was thinking about buying Minecraft to test with ray tracing in my PC builds. It would fit into these older laptop reviews, for sure.

It doesn't really make much sense anymore if you have an SSD installed, but I believe it can still be an option if one wishes to do it.
I didn't notice the HDMI cord pot.,,,, is there?
No, you would need a HDMI to Mini DisplayPort adapter
Is it a good deal for €110? Looking for all thinkpad models, but not looking for a specific model
That would be $185 CAD and stretching it a bit for what it's capable of. What is the SSD & RAM included in the X240 you are looking at?
@@HaisteComputerRepairit has a 128 gb SSD and 4 gb
Should i get this or hp probook 640 g1?? Which is better to play games
The Probook probably has more RAM expansion, so that would benefit. Both would only be good for low end gaming or perhaps retro emulators.
Is it possible to make music without problems with this model? via Ableton live or other programs?
But with I5

Can we do coding on this laptop? The only laptop which lies in my budget as a poor student
I don't see why not, depending on what kind of output you are expecting to see with particular software.

Yes, but I honestly think that performance will drop the higher quality/larger workload you put on it.
