A way to recycle a little...when you finish a page of stickers, save the paper and peel off the excess....THEN use it to put down washi and punch. Will peel right off.
I've been taking the washi and folding it on the bottom and cutting the end on an angle. It automatically gives you the banner "V" on the bottom, and it's always perfect!
Great ideas...I have soooooo much washi tape from scrapbooking that I never used. Now I can take your ideas from this video and incorporate them into my planners, scrapbooking and cardmaking. I love the punch idea.
Great video! Absolutely love the tip on how to make wider washi thinner using a paper trimmer! I have so many washi’s that I love, but don’t use in my planner because they are too wide. Also love the tip about how to trim washi with a gift card. Super smart.
Thank you sooooo much for this video!!! The finished page was so nice. I'm a newbie and was pretty clueless on using washi tape. Now I just have to find those cute heart and hexagon cutters.
This was truly the best video ever. I mean seriously i mean i already support you have purchased TWO of your sticker books - but you changed my life today with this washi 😭 Im changing from a dashboard to the teacher planner and I was like I’m going to have to throw all my washi away because it’s too thick now and that paper cutter trick just literally save 60 washi rolls of tape
I only work 3 days a week but I would much rather have your job😉 I work at a Walmart DC. SAT-MONDAY 11HR shifts. This is a great washi tutorial!! Thank you Heather!
When using the washi and cutter, if you stick it onto a blank white sticker then punch it, you just need to remove the sticker backing to be able to apply it! :). I buy A4 sheets of white sticker paper from Amazon for just about everything!
Such cute ideas! Thanks! Most people who work in hospitals work 3 days a week, but we work longer shifts. I work 13-hour shift, so I work a whole weeks worth of hours in 3 days. There are pros and cons to it, I have more days off but it can be quite exhausting.
You gave me the idea about finishing edges... How about using my scalloped(or other) scissors to make a pretty edge for covering headers and such!? I'm gonna try it today ;) Great video, got some great ideas from this! Thank you :)
The cake is too cute. Going to make one of those for my nieces birthday coming up. I also fold the end of my washi when I cut the flag style end so they are even. I for the life of me, can not cut an even triangle. Haha I also use washi down the center to reinforce/decorate and just repunch the holes. Lots of great ideas I will be adding to my planner. Thanks for another awesome video.
This might be my favorite video yet! I bought a lot of mambi washi using coupons and started to feel maybe I overdid it. but now I see that I can use washi for a week's spread :) I can't wait to give it a try! Now I just need a couple more punches. And I have lots of fun scissors that I definitely need to try for finishing edges.
I only work 2 days a week lol and am fulltime. I work 2 (16hr) shifts a week. that is the nly way i have figured out how to do it. I am a CNA so we are 24/7 but it works well for me and my family of 7. Alsoo I love this video, you gave tons of info and and tons of great ideas!! exactly what i was looking for thank you.
New subbie here. I’ve binged watched your planner playlist for newbies all weekend. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with me and the planner community. I have not ever planned in this manner. However, your detailed information makes me hopeful about my future success. Again, many thanks!

i have a question but not about washi lol. what do u think about putting the classic hp rings on the mini? also how does it look? i have to have the expander rings on my classic and sometimes i lok at it and think hmmm. i was contemplating puting the hard cover on the classic. what do u think mostly about the mini and changing rings

Thank you I’m new to using Washi and pretty planing well that what I call it. But thank you this helps so much.
Fiskars makes scissors that are coated so washi doesn't stick to it
There are also scissors with decorative edges like pinking shears, but fancier, which might prove interesting.
They are titanium.
Loving the Alpha book! Thanks for the inspiration! I'll have to show my Beauties ASAP! TFS
Love the washi banner...all of these really.

Hi there! Amazing video! Just wondering where you found your paper cutter that lifts like that!
Heather, where did you find those scissors. My mom loves everything Paris.
I believe she said Target in another video.
I like to use washi with a repeating pattern for checklist or bullet points.
Oh! This is a GREAT idea!!
Celeste Buckway do you have a picture of that? I'd like to see exactly what you mean.
i have a question but not about washi lol. what do u think about putting the classic hp rings on the mini? also how does it look? i have to have the expander rings on my classic and sometimes i lok at it and think hmmm. i was contemplating puting the hard cover on the classic. what do u think mostly about the mini and changing rings

I love your videos !! This one gave so much ideas on how to use my washi tape.
I use to take my washi and punch shapes to them and run them through my sticker maker.
Thanks for sharing
What is the cutter that you're using?
I love your scissors. Where did you get them?
put washi on the inner then re punch the holes so it strengthens the paper and gives into the theme
