This is an island with abundant water, rivers with rapids and waterfalls, and other calm ones that reach the sea through green plains. There are several navigable inland lakes, including the largest in the Caribbean, more than 44 meters below sea level, with a central island that is home to crocodiles. However, DR also has very dry desert areas with only cacti and dunes. You really have to come back if you want to know everything!

Samaná is a natural treasure with coves, bays, waterfalls, mountains and awe-inspiring views. There is lots to explore and it's known for its wading and body-boarding beaches, nature trekking and whale-watching.

A similar experience in Cuba is going from Havana to the island of Cayo Levisa. You can sleep on the island in small cabanas. The beach is actually larger than Levantado with part of it in the jungle. I went there a few years ago.

It's a popular rice dish in the Caribbean.
It seems you didn't get to the main beach at Ermitaño (I saw that on Instagram) a movie it's been recorded there. Samaná Is very popular for movies and musical videos. Sorry for that.

Notice the Sargrassum had the water stained in areas. It’s bad enough when it’s on the beach but when the water is brown, that’s not good. Hope it gets better for you. ✌️
Just got to the dominican republic recently and searched for some locations. Found some of your videos from there. The quality of this cameras is great. Is it gopro 10? I just got the Osmo Action 3 but the quality is not very good. I think I'm gonna get a gopro instead. My gopro 8 had better quality actually than osmo action 3.

This is noticeable when you find sea shells and fossil coral high in the mountains, or gigantic stones of black volcanic lava at the edge of the sea.
Go to Bahia de las Aguilas in Pedernales, DR. You will love it!!!
