Nah, that’s just because your diet and exercise make you feel good and naturally promote good hormonal usage, the drug is most likely a placebo or very minor. Remember, all it is doing (at best) is increasing your testosterone levels from a normal level to a slightly higher, but still within normal, level. Research is pretty clear that such small fluctuations within the normal range are not very impactful if impactful at all. To see the actual effects of increased testosterone, you need to be far outside of the normal range. This is why proper TRT treatment on someone with low testosterone doesn’t suddenly turn them into a muscle bound beast. To see muscle effects, you need to abuse the treatment.

    • @justinw1765
      @justinw1765 Год назад +3

@@TheHeadincharge Nicely said. I think health, from a holistic standpoint, should be the primary goal. Everything else will eventually follow that. Diet, stress management, proper sleep, proper amount and kind of exercise combined will all do more for optimal hormone levels than an herbal supplement.
I do think that some supplements can help to boost a bit, but the above factors are far more important as a toto and especially in combo.

I've stacked Fadogia and Tongkat, stopped taking the Fadogia as it made my nuts ache. Fadogia also caused this weird sensitivity in my hamstring, such that any movement that stretched the hamstring at all would cause pain and discomfort. Thought it was a coincidence but I confirmed it after cycling on and off it 3 separate times. Tongkat works more like an energy booster for me, but if you stay on it long term it loses it's "spark" so to speak, the best way to use it is only use it on lift days, and don't use it at all during deload weeks. Tongkat always felt like a stimulant to me.

been 2 months taking fadogia and tongkat, was trying to see what has better effects. It seems that adding fadogia is giving me long "morning glories" more than tongkat on it's own which is interesting. I haven't really seen my strength going up like crazy but I say my recovery has been getting better, currently taking 200mg of Tongkat 4 days a week and 400mg of fadogia on a monday and thursday with tongkat. might up the dose.
overall this compound has fixed my ED as I can stay harder for longer during fun but I don't feel it's heighten my sexual urges. I don't however feel I got that energy I used to have in my mid 20's

Even though 35% seems like a lot, our body already fluctuates by that amount daily for a lot of men and still puts you within the normal, typical range. And if so did you then lose the gains you made on the herbs? It would be interesting to understand the benefits and consequences. Thanks, excellent video.

I've tried Ashwaganda, Tongat Ali, Fadogia Agrestis, Red Ginseng.. and a few other testosterone supplements that I don't remember the name of, for at least a month each, and all of them had a negative rebound. Even the ones that didn't have very noticeable effects on me resulted in some degree of lethargy for a while after I stopped taking them.
The Fadogia and Tongat Ali combo completely killed my sex drive for at least a week after I stopped. I can't confirm whether or not it's true, but I've definitely heard more than once that supplements related to boosting testosterone or Melatonin all have negative rebounds. This doesn't apply to all types of supplements, but it seems to be common for the ones that promote sleep and testosterone increases in particular.

A recent study in July 2023 by a group of scientists from the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences University of Jos, Nigeria showed severe side effects on kidney and liver after administering Fadogia extract on rats for 40 days.
The study showed that the albino rats treated with 50 mg/kg of Fadogia extract showed ballooning necrosis (death of tissue cells), while rats treated with 100 mg/kg extract showed massive tissue degeneration (necrosis), and rats treated with 200 mg/kg of the extract also showed further ballooning necrosis.
The study suggests strong evidence of the damaging side effects of Fadogia on liver at low dosages, causing the death of body tissue in the liver (i.e necrosis) which cannot be reversed.

FYI,Fadogia agrestis is similar to the luthenizing hormone so taking it will increase the signal for the testes to produce more testosterone
Tongkat ali releases more free testosterone from shbg so its gonna increase the usable testosterone for the body (only 2% of the total testosterone produced by the body is useable for muscle growth as most is binded by the shbg's)
Ps. What was your dht levels?....did it increase, stayed the same because usually excess test is converted to dht by the body... *also after stopping taking both the herbs did the test levels stay at 800 or did it decrease to baseline levels? Also how long were you able to hold on to that lean muscle mass after you stopped?

Are you still taking both products? If so, an update would be welcome some months down the line, to see if the numbers stay high or if the body adapts and downregulates its testosterone production.
The problem with taking both products at the same time for your experiment, though, is that all the benefits may come from just _one_ of the two products, making taking both a waste of money and an unnecessary health risk.😕

Yes, testosterone levels can fluctuate up to 30 or 40% through the day for a fully mature man. It is also of course impacted by your diet, stress levels, sleep, and a natural hormone cycle. Without controlling for these things, these tests are essentially meaningless unfortunately.

Have to say Shervin, I found your channel tonight and I think I've binge watched a good bit of your content. The production value is amazing and the consistency in editing is incredibly appealing. Thanks for making the content you do as it can lead to some insightful inner dialogue. In particular your "Wasted 20's" video really spoke to me as someone who just passed into 26 and hasn't really found a calling that works for me. I'm quite good at everything I tend to do, but the thought of strapping myself into a particular field of work scares me for some reason. The commitment isn't the issue, rather the long term enjoyment. Regardless, some of the things you said in that video spoke to me and helped me get a bit closer to really settling on a path. Thank you brother :)

Anyone here having trouble sleeping, then perhaps try these tips? I was a poor sleeper, now I sleep like a baby!
    1) Read Paul Mckenna book called I can make you sleep
    2) Meditate every day
    3) Give up binge drinking, and binge processed food
    4) Don`t drink coffee after 7.00 pm
    5) Take a trip to the doctor, and ask for help without the use of too many meds.
    6) Don`t get addicted to sleeping pills
    7) Keep a journal and write about all your troubles in it. After a few weeks burn the journal.
    8) A warm milky drink like Ovaltine can help near bedtime
    9) NO smoking of anything, dope will not work in the long run.
    10) Keep the bedroom dark
    11) Keep the bedroom cool too.
    12) Go to bed around the same time each day.
    13) Do get up and do something boring, then go back to bed if you are tossing and turning for hours
    14) Sometimes a warm shower can calm the nerves.
    15) Do not alarm clock watch either, have a blue light not red slight alarm clock as that may cause the brain to overthink.
Good sleep can add up to 2 years to women`s life and maybe 3 to 5 to men.

I think what was also interesting was that at the end of the experiment, inflammation markers increased drastically. hs-CRP went from 0.6 to 1.0, and AST went from 28 to 47. There was also a large drop in Iron, from 75 to 52. Triglycerides increased from 66 to 91. So, there were other things at play here besides just the T increasing. It is entirely likely that the liver was a little angry at the end of the experiement.

The tradeoff of constantly taking these pills for a supposedly 30% increase of T isn't too appealing for me. Not to say we are not even sure that after some time the body gets used to it and the T gets back to baseline (as in other marketed testosterone supplements).

I use Sigma from Gorilla Mind to get those ingredients and effects for myself - they have a cycle protocol on the bottle, so each one lasts like 3 1/2 months, making the price pretty great. I was paying for them separately before and it was far more expensive.

Thanks Shervin for the video and the analytics proof. I've had tongkat ali a few times years ago and it does work. When i am stuck at loosing fat and i have this stuff I begin to lose fat and gain lean muscle at the same time. I don't take it more frequenty because where i live (in Spain) is not a common supplement, you have to buy it from other countries, pay taxes, whait for a long delibery and getting the risk of being scammed. Once i bought one from ebay and I swear the pills were full of sawdust. It is very easy to make sure the product is legit because it tastes like hell (extremely bitter).

@@ShervinShares what an incredible testament to these two supplements though… I’ve had similar results. My total T is currently around 700-going to take 600mg of tongkat daily for 30 days and draw it again.

Biggest changes for me taking tongkat everyday for 60 days was +libido, +motivation/energy in the gym and in general. BUT i definitely noticed much more hair loss when washing my hair, which spooked me out.

I’m a little over a week into this same experiment and I think it might be giving me some gastrointestinal issues. Almost feel like I have a minor flu. Could be unrelated but curious if others experience something similar.

    • @richbrake9910
      @richbrake9910 11 месяцев назад

All supplements, herbs, and drugs can cause gastrointestinal issues. A week is a short time though. If you are still experiencing this after a month or two, I would say stop taking it. Sometimes it takes time for your system to adjust to new supplements.
