U doing this wrong! Put the string between the cable and draw the bow ! The string will pull the amount it needs on draw, Now! U can serve it in after u let down and burn the end to a mushroom

That pre set up was the shit I needed to see
Too bad with a buss cable driven rest there's no way to set how long the rest supports the arrow, unlike a limb driven rest.

That works too. Like everything else in this industry there's a lot of ways to accomplish the same thing.
