As an Aussie, I can confirm that we do have a very good life. It's expensive as all heck, but otherwise it's amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Also I made that pesto pasta salad the other day and it was so fun seeing you guys use all the ingredients that I do from the supermarkets here. It was so nice seeing you both enjoying our beautiful country. You're welcome back any time!

I'm so glad that you and Robin were able to squeeze in an impromptu honey moon holiday! Seeing how you both experienced Australia for the first time made me smile. I so agree with you - our country is a beautiful hidden gem, and one that many locals don't even get to experience the sheer vastness of! Was so interesting to see you buying and trying out lots of recognisable grocery items (looked like you were at Coles?). Glad to also hear that you appreciate our coffee culture and general friendliness. Your 'naur' was spot on, haha! I have a family or 'mob' of grey kangaroos who frequently graze in front of my house. I think a lot of us Aussies forget that it's not so normal to have close interactions with wild nature on the daily. Hope you had a safe trip back home Xx

Australia is an incredible country, I was blessed with living there for two years (employment )….The people, food, wild creatures…all of it was worth going…Happy that you two got to see a bit of that gorgeous country…Maybe when u celebrate your 5th anniversary or any for that matter…you can celebrate it there…So much too see…Life is worth living!! we have been building our van into a camper on a low budget together and are so in love with the freedom it gives us to just hop in for a weekend and go anywhere we want. It is just so amazing to be able to not be planning things all the time but to just go with it.

I never ever get sick of hearing the sound of Kookaburras. And I love it when I see Kangaroos literally on the beach! Not sure how far up the coast you guys are but around Batemans bay/Durras is great for seeing them. 🦘
Oh my goodness you came to Australia, how exciting. I wish you had come to Victoria it's also very beautiful and the coast line is just magnificent. We call Australia the lucky country and it really is. I was born in Australia to immigrant parents and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'm so glad you tried vegemite, it's not for everyone, but I love it. Even Aussies don't like it. What a lovely video, I smiled the whole way through it.

Make sure you visit Port Stephens on your way down the coast. A beautiful bay where you can sit on the beach and see dolphins swim past. Tomaree mountain is an easy climb. Koalas are in the trees - ask a local and they can direct you on how to spot them. Sorry yes we have large Goannas too( Lace monitors) and lots of White Breasted Sea Eagles, kookaburras and lorikeets.
I really loved watching you guys explore our country! And so fun watching you use our ingredients to make your meals!
