I'm looking to move to Salem ASAP. Looking to rent and live closer to downtown as I plan on not having a vehicle. I have an interview in Salem next week and I'm excited/nervous about finding an apartment. I've never made this big a move before.

The suburbs around Boston are also great, but a completely different thing than this. This video is for people who don't want to worry about driving into the city and are essentially looking to live downtown and walk everywhere.
Top suburbs are a great idea though, added to our to do list!

As soon as I can this spring, I’m going to stay there for two nights/three days to see so much more on foot. I’ve gone on some tours, and they’re great but I’ve seen so little out there and I loved it there. I LOOOVE my hometown of NYC but this is smaller, cleaner a little more historic. (Remember, we had the Dutch influence and of course Washington and Cornwallis and Aaron Burr etc but you have the British culture out there. So it’s a nice change. I learned that it is “the city of firsts” and I found your history very enlightening. Your amphibious Duck tour in the pond and boat rides w the swans shouldn’t be missed at some point. Your harbor is a great place to eat and watch the cool scene. Overall, I have been so happy going to the Prudential Center, Fenway, YOUR Garden (Not MSG), and a few other areas. I have always felt very safe in Boston. Also there are a few cruise lines that depart from Boston Harbor so if you’re planning a cruise in Boston, take some extra time before you leave the city, or before you board the ship. Try to enjoy even One of the neighborhoods that Matt and Tyler put together. ✌🏼
