These songs from the The Electric Years Tour were filmed on June 21st, 2024 in Kent, Ohio.This day was not easy for Al and the band as their tour bus broke down in the middle of nowhere in over 100 degree heat and arrived a couple of hours late. Al gave us his heart and soul delivering a blistering two hour set. Thanks Al for a great night of fusion, Jazz and Rock.

History. Al DiMeola, is the Legion guitarist in 1971 at nineteen, he was in the pioneering jazz fusion with Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, and Chick Corea, he recorded three albums with the band Return to Forever. As Return to Forever was disbanding around 1976, Di Meola began recording solo albums, his album Elegant Gypsy (1977) with Lenny White, and featured (an acoustic duet with fellow guitarist Paco de Lucía) received a gold certification. In 1980 he recorded the acoustic live album, Friday Night in San Francisco, with Paco de Lucía and John McLaughlin.
