I have wondered that. I hope not. As much as I love his solo projects and performances, (and Avi IS my favorite from ptx, and one of my favorite singers of all time), there's still something magical about Pentatonix. Plus I think its still ptx's popularity that gives him the platform and opportunity to raise this kind of money for the a capella academy. Will he be popular as a solo artist? Yes. Will he reach the level of success that Pentatonix has reached? Probably not. And I think that's true of all five them. Not hating on anyone, just my opinion about the realities of the music industry.
