    Hello, why don't you use lamps with gu10 socket? Could you explain the difference and which one do you think is more convenient? What spotlights would you use to illuminate the interior of a hotel in the USA?

      Most Hotels in the USA would use a integrated LED style recessed light nowadays. Order ones used fluorescent PL style recessed lights with four pin connectors and two oldest hotels would have screw in HID recessed lighting with screw in sockets similar to the one shown in the video.

    I've been having a similar issue with a type 64K heating & fan light. We bought new ones & they shut off shortly after turning on. Idk if its the type of light, I know its not the switch. It worked fine until we replaced the light, they are suppose to be BR40's but i wonder if the wife bought a dimmable only bulb or something? I assume it might be from overheating but it doesn't make sense because it seems to be the correct light bulb. It is really dirty in there so i'm going to try & clean it before i buy a new one.

      Yeah these lights seem to be a pain at times. Could just be a bad bulb or a poor (dirty) connection. Hopefully it's an easy fix!

    Got an issue. when I turn on 100% my dimmable light, it turns off after 5-10 minutes for a few seconds, then keeps turning off every minute or so.. If I turn on light a little bit less, like 70-80%, it's stays on for about an hour or so, then same issue appears... Checked wires for both light and switch, looks good. Is it overheating issue? or faulty light bulb.

    I have a problem with a light switch. I flick it on, the light comes on then turns off momentarily then back on then stays on. Is this dangerous or a problem?

    • @TopHomeowner
      @TopHomeowner  Год назад

      It could be as simple as a loose bulb, or you may have a loose connection (wire) either at the light fixture or the switch. I'd start with swapping out the bulb and see if that fixes it.

  • @bland9876
    @bland9876 Год назад +1

    My bulb keeps turning off after like 4 min. The other bulbs on the switch stay on just fine.

    • @TopHomeowner
      @TopHomeowner  Год назад +1

      If the other bulbs on that switch are fine than there's either an issue with that one bulb, the fixture or the wiring. I'd start with the bulb and go from there

      @@TopHomeowner this light bulb is being very inconsistent because I completely forgot until I read your comment that the bulb was even having any problems.
