    What a cracking video on how to wire spots up.
    I've never done it before, but after finding this video, i feel totally confident now on taking on the job!
    I was thinking of pushing the original light plate into the ceiling and running off the wire that holds the bulb.
    I can now mark the wire and wire up everything else up to the wago connectors and still not know what they are all for lol class

      Assuming youve drilled in your holes, take a long flexible piece of material such as the uPVC draught proofing strips often used around uPVC windows and tape the cable to one end then push it through one hole in the direction of the next. If it doesnt go assume a joist, however you can then angle the strip upward slightly, passing it over the joist while another person keeps an eye out for it in the next hole. Abit fiddly but the hole should be large enough to grab the strip and cable with a hammer or crowbar/long hooked tool then pull through.

    Hi mate how would it work for a loop in at the switch ?
    Would there be a junction box under the floorboards that would need connecting to the first spotlight ?

    • @homeimprovements
      @homeimprovements  Год назад

      Two plate ? Where the neutrals are at the switch ? If so the cable at original light can be moved directly to first spotlight

    • @Jayjay-jg7ui
      @Jayjay-jg7ui Год назад +1

      Thanks for the reply. Yes 2 wires in the COM, 1 in the L1.
      This particular room has two light switches. One on each corner of the room. That’s why it’s set up this way.
      Ceiling rose has just the switch live and a neutral. - so my question is still ok to do it via the wago connector method?

    • @homeimprovements
      @homeimprovements  Год назад

      Perfect so yes just take that cable from original light to first spot light unless it’s too short then just extend it using the wagos 😊

      @Jayjay-jg7ui Год назад +1
