This is one of my favorite episodes from _Saved By The Bell._ And the best part? Tori Spelling and Tiffani Thiessen are both in it which is even better. Donna Martin before she became Donna Martin and Valerie Malone before she became Valerie Malone.

They really did! It would have been interesting to see how the show would have developed if Tori Spelling had become a permanent cast member, and Violet and Screech had had a long term relationship. She really brought out the best in Screech. Lisa should have had a long term love interest too.

Funny how two of the girls being Kelly and Violet on SBTB ended up on Beverly Hills 90210. Tiffani and Tori were good friends but they later fell out.

Lisa is always buying stuff with her parents’ money so she’s constantly owing them money and Zack’s family is nowhere near as rich as Lisa or Violet. But I never understood why Violet couldn’t help

Slaters dad was an Army officer and Jessie's dad own hotels in Palm Beach (I believe) and Screechs family wasn't exactly cash-strapped so any of them could've cracked their allowance banks open. But then there would be no sitcom plot.....
Come to think of it, the episode was nuts. No 90s high school teenage boys spend their evening dancing to 60s surf music (internet was sparce, but come on), and since all of them, except Kelly, weren't broke, that money wasn't like fixing the cars that were wrecked in other episodes, or raising money towards Lisa's fathers card. Even worse, they never really taught Maxwell a lesson. They lost money, he got his date, plus he already kissed Jessie. Not to mention the party plot could've came after the statue broke, but like I said, plot device.......

What a wonderfully wholesome sitcom, even with the forced multiculturalism, it didn't seem as blatantly obvious and agenda driven back then. White people were portrayed normally, and not deliberately made to seem inferior or never allowed to partner with one another, like now. Blacks and other non-Whites were given positive portrayal and everyone was friends. It was a time we all looked past race and the shame of history & the sins of our fathers and just wanted to believe that the world was a good and fair place just so long as people made the effort and stayed positive.
Now there is a poisonous agenda in media, and I never thought I would long so much for corny sitcoms like Saved by the Bell in my adult years!

4:35 And That's exactly why Belding and Mike would never allowed Gambling because you never know what's going happened in that game and have to bet money or etc in that game and sooner or later you're going to lose and come crying about losing money or etc to the main people. That's why I am against poker and gambling because it cost problems. Poker gambling you're either going get cheated in that game or lose that game or any gambling.
Just before Dustin Diamond passed away he said that "if you don't know who the Screech is than it's you." I'm just as clumsy as he is and, just like in this clip, I stole someone into a rebound relationship.
