I think I noticed some audeze maxwells on your desk? I have a pair myself, but with how hot and humid QLD is at the moment, I want to use IEMS while I game. I know it will be super hard to compare the two, but do you think swapping between the maxwell and these will make these sound sub-par? I play various games, both competitive and rpgs etc
A very good and timely question. The EM6L doesn't sound anything like the Maxwell because it's not a planar driver so there will be a big difference in how they sound. I have a review of another IEM, the Hidizs MP145 going live on Monday which is a planar driver and sounds very similar to the Maxwell. Obviously IEMs and headsets will always sound different but if you want an IEM equivalent of the Maxwell I suggest checking out my review.
Em6l - 1dd+4ba, very tame and smooth, better details, slightly better directional imaging. Uses QDC cable connector, which is looked down on in the IEM community (personaly i think of it as mechanically superior, and other cable types could be inserted in it). Ea500lm - 1dd, offers more aggressive sound signature with good textured bass and high treble, depending on preference and playlist could be funnier or more harsh to the ears. As oppose to em6l it sometimes chokes and loses bit of separation when a lot of things going on. Tank built metal shell, swappable nozzles, very configurable and modable, most treble harshness if needed could be polished with some nozzle modding. 0.78 pin socket. If your main goal is gaming atm em6l is 90% of the endgame for the purpose, also relatively safe tuned.
Dude, I just got these headphones, and they suck for hearing footsteps and stuff. I'm playing MW3 on a really good PC, and I'm plugged right into it, but the sounds are all messed up. They're not coming from where they're supposed to.
I haven't personally tried any but an affordable option would be something like the Kinera Celest Ruyi and if money is no object the Antlion KIMURA MICROPHONE CABLE

@@goukigod Thank you for the feedback, I’ll keep a lookout for the review :)
@@goukigodwhat is your best of the best gaming IEM with a max price range of 400 euro’s?
I just bought my son one of those mics on the arm thingy. Needs a set of something like these but for xbox
These work for Xbox. Any IEM will so long as it has a 3.5 mm connection.
Are they balance ?
Aka do they use balance cable?
You can upgrade it to any 0.78 2 pin cable easily.
How is this compared to the new EA 500 LM specifically for gaming? Since price bracket is somewhat close

have you used the Truthear Nova for gaming? is it on par with EM6L?
I haven't tried the Truthear Nova sorry
@@goukigod ah ok, thanks!
Is the dualsense’s headphone jack capable of driving the simgot em6l since it’s only 26 ohms?
Yes. This is predominantly how I tested it
what you think would be better for gaming these or the ea1000
I haven't tried the ea1000 sorry. Very different price bracket. You'd hope that it was more natural but I can't say
can you recommend a decent qdc boom mic for the em6l?
I haven't tested any boom mics for IEMs yet. Hopefully that's about change.

Someone tell him he's got them the wrong way around lol
Any suggestions for a mic setup for console with these?

Haha.
7hz Crinaccle sound better.
Listen again.
