Rebels ending was great but clone wars ending was just so fucking epic and heartbreaking at the same time
I agree it's been with us for 12 years we lost awesome character like 99, hevy, evan, keeli, savage, and Jesse
Cheezer exe the fact that clone wars had been with us for 12 years AND the last episode is the 12th episode for s7 is just yeesh kinda heartbreaking
Clone Wars ending trumped Rabels ending, Rebels was good but Clone Wars amazing
@@DgardsGaming yes
John Hanifin I like the fact each of the ending suits the tone of both the series
Man the difference between the two is almost jarring. TCW very somber and downright tragic ending compared to Rebels very upbeat hopeful ending. Even the music exemplify's this. Some great work by Filoni.
People like you keep the fandom at balance.
*May the 4th be with you.*
Supergkop 56 well u cannot use a sad theme when the Rebellion just defeated space fascist, right?
You really excepted a happy ending for Clone Wars? Smh
@@randomidk8781 What about their comment implies that they thought that Clone Wars would have a happy ending? They just said that one was hopeful and the other sad.
The Rebellion was built upon the hope that one day, liberty and freedom shall hurl tyranny into the ground.

@@Will.Flavell LITERALLY
@@Will.Flavell considering Dooku and Saruman were played by the same actor, I can see it.
One of them was really hopeful while the other one was simply tragic, but Ahsoka almost has the same face. Probably because she felt Anakin's ''death'' in both of them, which is really sad. But nice touch with her cloak, Ahsoka the Grey is Ahsoka the White now. Dave you genius man...
What will Ahsoka be tomorrow? Ahsoka the Transparent?
@@LukiKruki well in episode 9 she's ahsoka the invisible
I think being in Rebels as cheap fan service is worse than losing every one of your friends

Now that is how i like a strong female character, cocky and full of herself at the beginning, humbled by the hardships of life and strong at the end, as she deals with it and moves on. Although i doubt i would be ever asked to name a strong female character, i will say that Ahsoka Tano fits the bill.
‘Couldn’t have worded it any better. Preach!
agreed
Its because shes written as a person, and given the same treatment as a male character would get. She is allowed to fail and grow like any other. Allot of writers somehow think that strong female characters aren’t allowed to fail or grow, or even be sensitive. Ahsoka is kind, and tho the war hardend her, she never lost her compassion. Thats what it means to be strong, not to be an emotionless robot, who never fails or loses.
Alunita Inghinala
Yes. I hated her at first but grew to love her. When she left the order? She became one of my top 5 SW characters.
Rebels came along? top 3.
CW returning and the last four episodes? Favorite character. Hands down.
She’s strong, flawed, and loses, but is determined. You root for a character like that. And she has morales.
She buried the men who tried to kill her, and honored them.
She fought to save Rex.
She fought upheld the teachings of the Jedi and didn’t kill a single clone (on purpose at least).
And she let go of Anakin when she dropped her saber. Anakin’s downfall was letting go of his attachments. His tinkering with her sabers to make them blue is a reminder of that.
She survived a totalitarian uprising, fought for the Rebellion, didn’t claim Jedi status, but fought for good anyways.
She’s amazing.
I mean Ahsoka is probably the most well developed Star Wars character in general.
Ahsoka the Grey and Ahsoka the White
What's the difference?
I was looking forward to this Comment
Holy shit...and she's Ahsoka the White after returning from the dead (kinda). *mind explodes*
@@twospoonspls807 LOTR vibes
I was looking for this, XD
Why DICE never put Ahsoka into Battlefront 2 is beyond me...
Because they can milk it more in Battlefront 3? Battlefront 5? Battlefront 1 1 1? I have no idea how we count them nowadays.
Because of EA
BECAUSE is star wars battlefront only movie reference
>Well, not much movies
@@jeanfigueroa9637 Haha fair enough
@@TheArklyte I suppose so. Let's hope that we can see more Ahsoka, Jene Erso, Ezra Bridges, and others in the future games.
I get Gandalf vibes from Ahsoka during the ending for Rebels
What sets these two scenes apart, is the tones they had. In Rebels the whole idea was to mainly show that everything has come to a point that everyone's troubles were over. The one in CW season seven, mainly showed that even though the war was over it didn't end in the way Ahsoka and Rex were hoping for because they had lost everything. They lost the war, the Republic, the Jedi, the clones and even Anakin who is now Darth Vader. Rebels was showing they got mainly got everything back plus, Rebels had an ending narration where as CW did not it let the scene itself do the talking. If anything I like CW season seven more because of what it was showing.
Isn't it speculated that Ahsoka will show up in Mandalorian or at least in a tie in to it?
MidnightWasTaken if Ashley doesn’t voice her it won’t be the same
@MidnightWasTaken Ashley isnt voicing her unfortunately, she herself said she has nothing to do with the mandalorian - so unless they're gonna add the voiceover really late it doesn't seem like a possibility
Ahsoka is being put into everything now.
Since she's the only character universally liked by the fandom.
I mean it makes sense for a different voice, she must be getting pretty old by now
@@Scoonertuna Which is extremely ironic considering that she got treated like Rey when she came out.
It will be fun in few years when the fandom will defend Rey and insult another female character.
Such different tones for ending shows.
Rebels had a good end but Clone Wars did it so much better.
The scenes and the emotional ties to them are unbelievable, but they should've stuck with the Clone Wars animations.
It's curious. TCW finale was cold and heartbreaking like the Revenge of the Sith ending, and Rebels finale was hopeful and happy like the Return of the Jedi ending.
The duality and opposition of the Jedi and Sith
I never knew I wasn't over the fact that Rebels ended. And I already am heartbroken by Clone Wars. But these 2 next to each other, really just give an extra push to it. They both have a kinda sad end in a different way.
Like Rebels. Jacen probably never met his dad. And his big brother Ezra is also gone. 😭
I still am happy to see these to scenes next to eachother
Rebels is apparently getting sequel series also I wonder does Jacen have connection to force, will he be trained to be Jedi like his father. XD
it's weird to see hybrid of to very different spieces but Jacen was pretty cute kid
Sons of Gaming I feel like the clone wars did the hybrids better than rebels, you can actually see the different species features show in the offspring I don’t know why they changed it. They looked weird but it made sense compared to just making the fellas hair green to my knowledge anyways
Ahsoka is a great character. We've watched her develop from an annoying child to someone you actually care about and support. Maul was also a very good character after being introduced again he was a great villian. Imop ashoka and maul have been far better characters then the main ones in the movies, especially rey and that other numpty in the most recent movies.
Thank you, yes it amazing how when they say if you hate Rey you hate all female leads but I mean we have Ahsoka, Leia, etc.
this shows how character development could been done, not what they did with rey
I love Rey and Ahsoka. They are different from the other Jedi. They have their own paths. Not like Obi Wan and Yoda even Windu. The one who hate Rey because they hate the female heroes leading the story.
@@kerrymohd7839 I hate rey. Because all she does is make stupid faces. She's literally iam female protagonist, now you must like me cause I'm female, and even else is stupid but me. As a character she's awful and uninspiring. Ahsoka is actually a good character, she's grown as a character, shes not stupid because off plot armour or stupid in general. She's a good strong character, cough you could build a franchise around cough.
@@lodgie555 but still I love it and give inspiring. Like i said because she had different the Jedi way
Jesus I'd forgotten how ugly Kanan and Hera's son was. He's so uncanny, the way he looks and moves is as if the animation was unfinished.
The animation and especially the colours of final scene/epilogue of _Rebels_ looked a little different.
I absolutely love how Clone Wars ends without any dialogue. Letting the music and characters' actions express the what is happening.
One ends in a happy way with hope for what can come next
The other is just depressing
It signifies the end... Its a message to the fans more so, we got cut off from a good show. So the ending reflects that the show is gone and its ending for good.
The other ending is an ending for kid showy trash, but its alright.
They should make a real sequel from Star Wars Rebels👍🏻
Dead LP' I’ve rumors that there’ll be a sequel to Rebels
It’s in developed
Dead LP' it better have clone wars animation and bring StarKiller
Poradon With this Clone Wars animation & I agree but with Starkiller, LucasFilm may have to change somethings about him so that he can fit in the new canon.
@@DailyDoseofShortsVideos Starkiller aka shallow excuse for main character that was part of dead end series of QTE filled games, who had beaten Vader "just because". Nope, thanks, not that shit ever again:D
I almost cried. Now, both of they, are over.
Star Wars The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels are best shows ever!
Lol I thought I was the only one who realized she wore the same clothes in both CW and Rebels endings. Just on different colour.
Ahsoka is one of the best characters of Star Wars, she needs her solo movie. But Disney would probably ruin so I'm no sure it's a good idea
I would prefer an animated series run by Dave Filoni.
Watching that appearance of Ashoka in her robe from rebels in the Clone Wars finale, but more somber, that was epic.
Ahsoka is GANDALF confirmed.
When ahsoka drop her lightsaber, I felt that...
Ahsoka has probably had the mist unique growth and reception of any Star Wars characters.
She was perceived by many as an annoying sidekick of an animated Star Wars spin-off.
But as time went on, she was grown to be loved and admired to the point that nearly the whole community empathized with her plight; from her disillusioned view and leaving of the Jedi Order, to her pain and realization that her master and closest friend fell to the Dark Side, and her somber survival of the Jedi Purge.
She has become something else entirely beyond a Jedi at the end of Rebels and brief contact with Rey in Rise of Skywalker.
Sabine: *starts talking
TCW ending: *I DON'T REMEMBER ASKING YOU A GODDAM' THING!*
At the end of Clone Wars she was Ashoka the Grey
Now she’s Ashoka the White
What I like about Clone Wars is that it didn't end with a happy ending. That's badass. It doesn't have to keep reusing the damn a new hope theme like rebels does more than often
The Rebellion is based around hope. Rebels ended after The Empire was defeated. TCW ended with The Empire's rise.
The reason for the difference in tone is clear.
Also, Rebels used the A New Hope theme only in its ending, eejit.
They play perfectly in sync. anyone else notice?
By the way nice edit!
I love Ahsokas development in both ending it shows how she overcame everything if you compare the clone wars ending Ahsoka looks depressed and shameful and blue but in Rebels she has a very brave strong and wise showing how much she overcame take notes disney this is how u make a real strong female character
Hey Spacemonk Edits, could you give me the name of the outro song if it's not an original of yours ? By the way great edit as always !
*what happened to rex in rebels during the ending.*
Dr. ROBLOXIA Which ending?
He fought in the battle of Endor, and that’s all we know. But it’s hinted that Ashoka and Rex will be in the second season of the Mandalorian. Which takes place after the battle of Endor
Probably he was at endor getting drunk with luke and telling stories from the old times
Cavé Films I kinda doubt Rex could live past Endor due to his accelerated aging
@@cavefilms1915 Rex was already "Santa" at Endor. Take pity on the old man.
The hood makes it looks she has cat ears underside and it's kinda cute.
Dave Filoni is a true legend 🔥
@spacemonk edits what's the name of the outro song?
It's interesting how her cloak is dark in clones wars and white in rebels. Perhaps it symbolizes that force is being dominated by darkness now at the end of clone wars and at the end of rebels is showing that is no longer dominated by darkness. Just my thought might be reading too much into things.
1:03 music lines up with the lightsaber drop lmao
Whats the name of the force theme version you use for the outros?
Ahsoka is never late, nor is she early she arrives precisely when she means to!

- Princess Diaries
To all those who say, Ashoka was the real reason why Skywalker became Darth Vader, is BS.
Being betrayed by his old master, coupled with the fact of losing his wife was what sent him over the edge.
Ashoka was a small bit, but not the only/big piece of the puzzle.
Honestly, it probably would have been perfect if she had actually died at the end of season 2 of Rebels.
It would have shown how far Skywalker had fallen, and how no one, not even his old apprentice, could have pulled him back.
Hey Spacemonk, what instrumental version of the star wars theme do you use at the end of your videos? It sounds super cool
@ron Jeremy did you figure out what version he is using? I am trying to find it as well
@@michaelw8296 Did not unfortunately. From what I can see its transitional music that went unreleased on the OST

TCW:Ashoka the gray

two things 1- I see the starwars true fans shine in the comments - HI . 2- clone wars is an amazing ride and as one fan who commented " John Hanifin " this was F@%king EPIC, from start to finish this was a job very well done
I liked Ahsoka's design in the final season of Clone Wars.

What’s the outro link
Whats the outro song
Outro music ?😥
Considering how Clone Wars caps off the prequel era, and Rebels caps off the original trilogy era, the difference in tone works perfectly.
It’s so sad how different these storylines ended and how sad clone wars ended it was one hell of a kind of a show it’s so depressing seeing how the clone war is going to fade and away... but Anikan was the chosen one he brought balance to the force is a harsh way to himself to his lover to his brother/ master to the clones to Rex and to Ashoka....𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝐿𝑈𝐶𝐴𝑆 𝐹𝐿𝐼𝑀 we will see you in 3 years form now
Everything begins and ends on Ahsoka
Ahsoka The Grey
Ahsoka the white
Makes Vader the balrog
What's your outro song
@mason green do you know by now which song he used?
Ahsoka the grey and ahsoka the white
Grey cloak represented dark and sad times, white cloak represented light and happy times.

Comment what the saddest death in clone wars is
Fives
I wish more people had died in rebels like rogue one or something kinda makes it unbelievable that they have a major victory before a New Hope that gives them the occupation of an entire planet
StripedBandit
I think it helped strengthen the rebellion, and then Rogue One was the creme de le creme to take out the empire with the Death Star plans.
Here is a simple difference
During the clone wars finale youre holding tears bc of what you see, remember: the last minutes of the clone wars finale contain no dialogue
During the rebels finale youre happy that its finally over and think of cinema sins bc narration
Im crying seeing the 332nd company
Ahsoka is absolutely my favourite Star Wars character, but i think Filoni took this Gandalf thing way too far.
Notice how Clone Wars doesn’t even use words or some cheesy monologue yet is still more impactful?
where can i get clone wars seson seven
I literally cried.
rebels gives hope, clone wars makes me depressed
Does Dave Filoni like Lord of the Rings or something? I can definitely see Gandalf the grey and white references 🙃
Rebels Ending: Happy
Clone Wars Ending: Sad god damn it was sad!
I'm so happy they left the clone wars till 2020 those visuals r stunning and without the advancements, in visuals, it would possibly would of felt less immersive (still would have been great thou for sure don't get me wrong).
Can't wait to see Ahsoka's search for Ezra. And if the rumors are true she may help him found another Jedi order. Be curious to see how that order would interact with Rey's future order.
Ricardo Valdes honestly hope that they show cal kestis too
And if we're lucky, we could get an animated series prior to the sequels (I'm not talking about Resistance), whose goal is to fix all the issues and plot holes the sequels had.
yeah, let's diminish Luke even more huh
@@awesomery4596 As much as I want Cal Kestis to live, I can't imagine him being alive when the trilogy starts. There's kind of a limit how many force users should survive without being involved in the trilogy.

Depends. In “Legends”, Asajj Ventress lived after faking her death and she fled to the outer rim never to be seen again.
It works. They didn’t go with that when Disney took over, but hey, if you’re hiding in the outer rim and you’re not in the main trenches of the galaxy, you can be alive and undetected forever.
I feel i was way more immersed in The clonewars then i was rebels. The clone wars felt more grounded
Yeah. Rebels took awhile for it to get good.
It was also Disney-esq, so comparatively to TV14 Cartoon Network, TCW had much more liberties with content.
Be that as it may, I love both. I’d watch clone wars before I watched Rebels if I were given an option. But I love Rebels expansion of the mythos of the force (Bendu), the struggle of Kanan trying to be a teacher, Ahsoka v Vader, it was all interesting.
Disney didnt want something too dark like Clone Wars so Filoni did work with what he had, thats why so much Deux Ex Machina and Ezra being annoying
But still is a good show
I can't wait to see Ahsoka Tano in the 2nd season of the Mandalorian.
I made a tribute to the end of the clone wars
It deserved as much
so yea fuck the new movies featuring Rhey, this is the real shit right here
👍👍👌
Never seen rebels nor do I want to. So can someone just tell me how Space Aladdins show ended? They all died, I'm assuming due to the mural.
CasperTheCurlyGamer not exactly. Only the Jedi Knight (Kanan) died and his apprentice (Ezra) went missing, hence why the mandalorian girl at the end (Sabine) and Ahsoka go looking for him. The Twi’lek (Hera) has a kid now and I think she was in one of the sequels, and the purple guy (Zeb) joined his people with a redeemed imperial officer.
@@imdragonqueengirl Yeah, Hera's ship is in Rogue One and Episode 9
The Jedi Knight Kanan died, Ezra and Thrawn went missing, Hera has a son, Zeb became close friends with Kallus (A redeemed Imperial agent)
It ended beautifully
Fives tried and he died... Maul was evil but he tried to help by lending a hand to defeat greater evil, then only got rejected.
So um. I missed a lot in Rebels. Would someone please tell me who the father is? Feel free to do the I'm your father stuff in here.
Jaden Kilian Kanan
How does Ahsoka even die? by the time of the sequels she should be in her 70s or 80s
Edwin Santana I guess that is what we get to find out in whatever future media she’ll appear in. She and Kanan/Caleb were both voices in Rise of Skywalker after all, so we know she’s dead.
Why couldn't both series have the same style of animation?
bo katan + ahsoka tano = botanic
😢😢😢😢😢, Resistance had so much potential.
Better than episode 9
The music from the scene in rebels goes perfectly with that clone wars ending
RIP clone wars you will
Always be better than rebels
I dont get why people hate rebels so much i like it. i like the clone wars more but i do also like rebels as well
The animation isn't as good and it's overtly directed towards kids. Clone Wars was a show kids could watch, but at the same time it didn't try and make it kiddie, it's not afraid to show harsh reality and the nature of war. My best analogy is that Rebels feels like that one Clone Wars arc people disliked with the water world and their like 12 year old prince.
One of the main issues was Ezra. He only became more likeable in the fourth season IMHO. His character development before that was rough and uneven. Characters like Hera and Kanan were more popular among the fans.
I think Star Wars the Clone Wars season 7 finale I think that's the conclusion of a Ahsoka Tano story arc and I don't think that's the series finale this the series finale to solve the Clones will be to transition from Star Wars the Clone Wars TV series to Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith that is the season 8 finale
This happened during episode 3 not before
It is gnadalf Silver and Gandalf white
A sad ending with a happy ending
These endings are so sad. 😭😭😭
General Kenobi! (reply to ⭐ Hello there! ⭐)
I bet in “the Mandalorian” her last appearance would be wearing a cloak
From Ahsoka the Gray to Ahsoka the White
Ahsoka the grey and Ahsoka the white maybe?
How old is Ashoka in the mandalorian if she s in there I mean she must be pretty old then
Depending on how long after season 1 it takes, she'd been 45 around the time of the season 1. So not that old.
ahsoka is 36 at the end of rebels, so she's around 41 during the mandalorian
Who is here after chapter 13
