I went there to see if this list was written down, but it isn't. I was wondering if you could at least post the top 5?? I'm not sure how to figure it out beside watching the whole video!! I don't know every book just by it's small and slightly cut off image.

I am 50 pages into Dragon Haven and you suddenly putting into the D tier while other Hobb books are rated so much higher makes so much sense because I am struggling. But seeing you put the other two in the RWC much higher is giving me motivation to persevere and get it done so I can crack on with the final trilogy 😂👍🏼

Agree heartily with "Guards! Guards!" and the Night Watch. Sam Vimes and Sybil Ramkin are among my favorite fantasy couples. "The woman was a city" -- just a beautifully romantic line of prose, a standout since, I swear, 90% of writers who attempt romantic plots or subplots get it horribly wrong.
Happy to hear the love for Monstrous Regiment. Such an amazing book.
I'm commenting as I watch, and I agree that Hunger of the Gods is better than its predecessor, although I love both books. In the first book, Elvar got on my last nerve; in the second, we're actually starting to see her learn and grow. By the end I was fully invested in all three of the main POVs.
When it comes to creating complex and interesting female characters in epic fantasy, I can't think of many writers who have upped their game as splendidly as Joe Abercrombie, between the original First Law trilogy and the Age of Madness. I would never have imagined Abercrombie would be to my taste -- I tend to prefer more heroic, "noblebright" epic fantasy -- but reviews of the audiobooks made me curious, and now I'm addicted to both Abercrombie and Steven Pacey. Go figure.

All this whining about how sad it was that Tigana was forgotten by everyone almost made me throw up. Can't deny the fact that the prose is very flowery and beautiful but the plot was just not good enough for me to complete it, and the characters bored me to death. I know The First Binding really bothered you. So I wondered if you felt anything like that from book 1 of B&B (Of Blood and Fire). I definitely would never state its a copy, it just felt so much like that of other works, like Gwynne, Eragon, WOT, etc.... Did this not bother you or is The First Binding wayyyyy more of an exact stealing of works? I have read Rothfuss but stayed away from TFB because of you, haha! I am going to read Of Darkness and Light, so it bothered me on book 1 but obviously not enough to put me off the whole series.... Cheers

In my review of Blood and Fire I mentioned that it definitely doesn't do anything original - and that while not a copy of anything in particular it just doesn't do anything new.
My problem with The First Binding is that it's a scene for scene rip-off of a specific book.
