Why its a Honda NSX, I believe the Acura brand is only used in North America. And the Volkswagen R8 comparison doesn't really work, it's more like VW decided to sell the Golf as a Skoda Golf in North America and as a VW Golf in the rest of the world. I mean I do agree that the Acura brand is pointless, especially considering that Honda does sell Honda branded cars in North America.
"Creep" is a feature in automatic cars where the car moves forward very slowly when you're neither braking nor pressing the gas. Clarkson's car doesn't have that feature so it's difficult to move forward very slowly from a stop.
Automatic cars "creep" or move slowly (forward when in drive, backward in reverse) if you let off the brake pedal without pressing the accelerator. Single clutch automatics don't do this, they only move forward if you press the gas pedal, so it's the worst of both worlds, a regular manual transmission or another type of automatic transmission would be better
It's all written on the script, " show off the cars in as many corners of the streets as possible". If they don't do that, it would not be an interesting broadcast and the sponsors of the cars would be upset their cars were not getting any attention.

If you release the brake pedal then the car will move slowly, this is "creep" mode. Some cars lack this feature like most of the ferraris don‘t.
