    Thanks Steve! Really motivating... I was doing the same thing but with a single string. Never thought of moving chords across fret board. You really are amazing. This will really help me find my taste, and now I possibilities apart from those riffs!! Although, I am not a good player! :( .. :) I want to be a very good player.. not for anyone else but for my satisfaction, want to spend quality time by myself. Thanks a ton!

    I did this with the D minor , it can really make a better sounding E minor on the bottom 3 strings in the 3,4 x 5th fret combo

    I tried this on my electric guitar and I think the problem is my tune it's on since It's on this acoustic type of sound setting and I'm struggling to fix it, but this was a great video and it helped a lot so thank you!

    Although you are using the same shape it does change to a different chord as you move it up and down the neck. Right?

      it moves up a letter every full step. D becomes ,e f ,g , a,... C becomes not necessarily D E F ,its complicated for some

    • @Guitarzoom
      @Guitarzoom  4 года назад +4

      Remember, on a guitar, one fret = one half step. And two frets = one full step (or whole step).
      So, there are two places in the chromatic scale where you only move up a half-step between letters.
      - the distance from B to C is a half-step, and
      - the distance from E to F is a half-step.
      There's not a "B sharp" or an "E sharp," so you only move up one fret when you go from B to C or from E to F.
      And one fret = one half step.
      Hope this helps!
