Good old records. Back in the early 80's my sister and I entered a contest with a local FM station and won 50 albums! This was one my mom picked out and it's one of my favorite titles from that album. I have that album in my collection and have played it from time to time, such a joy to hear. :)

The younger generations just don't UNDERSTAND the depth and warmth you get from a vinyl record until they actually hear one. I was so distraught when I found out my parents tossed all of their records and their technics record player "because it was old technology"... that was a sad sad day. Fleetwood Mac, Madonna, The Cars, The Rolling Stones, James Taylor, Van Morrison, Michael Jackson, Beetles, Moody Blues, Blue Oyster Cult, Van Halen, Queen... they had tons of records of music I still listen to to this day. Most people would argue that listening to vinyl rips through youtube videos would still be considered as "listening to digital", but that's completely ludicrous. Digital is..well a digital medium. Anything produced digitally would usually sound "digital." Vinyl is a physical / analog medium. It's a lot different. Recording on tape would sound a lot more natural when pressed to vinyl. The transfer to digital shouldn't count the vinyl rip as a digital sound. It's only odd if an album was done completely digital, like Donald Fagen's The Nightfly (though technically they used tape for the majority of the recording). Transfering a digital recording to vinyl and then rip it back to digital wouldn't serve any other purpose other than adding the vinyl characteristic to the track / album. Still speculating on the legitimacy of this vid tho. But then again manual declicking and pop removal is a thing.
The skateboard guy introduced me to Fleetwood Mac and I’ve been binging ever since! I play them in my house so my kids can be introduced to real music that, sadly, doesn’t appear too be in fashion commercially in the US.

LYRICS:
Now here you go again
You say you want your freedom
Well, who am I to keep you down?
It's only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering
What you had
And what you lost...
And what you had...
And what you lost
(Oooooh)
Oh, thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say, women...they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know
You'll know
Now here I go again, I see, the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
It's only me
Who wants to wrap around your dreams and
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness...
Like a heartbeat drives you mad...
In the stillness of remembering
What you had
And what you lost...
What you had...
Ooh, what you lost
Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Women, they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know
Oh, thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say women, they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know

Something that makes me feel closer to this album, and this band, is the fact that one day I'll be back to this very video, remembering my father. this is his absolute favorite song. He's still alive and i love him so much, but i dont treat him as good as a should. I'm going to change that. Because one day i know the time will come when he's gone, and I'll be right here under this comment crying, listening, and remembering the times we spent together listening to this beautiful music. I love you Dad I'll make you proud one day i promise.
timeless.. listening to the baseline complimented by Stevie's unique tone easily lightens my mood and mellows me out after another day of the world doing its best to bring me down
I cant believe there's no official non live video for this masterpiece! Stevie Nicks is a goddess and a dream woman no matter her age.
A number one song from 1977 Stevie Nicks best vocal performance.
Good old records. Back in the early 80's my sister and I entered a contest with a local FM station and won 50 albums! This was one my mom picked out and it's one of my favorite titles from that album. I have that album in my collection and have played it from time to time, such a joy to hear. :)

It's sad to say I didn't have this song in my life until the skateboarding dude. Better late than never.
YESSSSS
At least you finally got to hear it. I grew up as a little girl listening to this on my mums records. This reminded me I ought to put it on for my daughter to hear. There is so many great bands and songs that fly under the radar that get cancelled out by the modern noise. I am so glad you know this song now. I hope you listen to all their records.
Most of the album is amazing and even now considered one of the all time best. If you like this song you really should listen to at least some of the others
Who's the skateboarding dude? I'm interested now.

Now, here you go again
You say, you want your freedom
Well, who am I to keep you down
It's only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully, to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat, drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
And what you lost
Oh, thunder, only happens when it's raining
Players, only love you when they're playing
They say women, they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know
You'll know
Now, here I go again, I see
The crystal vision
I keep my visions to myself
It's only me, who wants to
Wrap around your dreams and
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell
Dreams of loneliness
Like a heartbeat, drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering, what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
Ooh, what you lost
Thunder, only happens when it's raining
Players, only love you when they're playing
Women, they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know
Oh, thunder, only happens when it's raining
Players, only love you when they're playing
They say women, they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know

Oh wow! I have never heard the song sound so clear. I can hear everything. Vinyl is the future! Lol. But seriously, it sounds so much better than any digital copy I have.
really because this re-issue is cut from the cd master at 16/44 si you mean it sounds worse than the CD? ruclips.net/video/w23NS_4uMV8/видео.html
Depends your bitrate of your digital copy and/or connection. Might vary with device speaker, but I do think this video ‘s audio quite great.
Technically though, RUclips sound is digital, so...
I got it in flac. sounds better than this
Actually seems more like a different equalization than better sound quality. Still sounds good anyway.
Song released when I was 12 years old. 1977. I have so many memories of dancing to this song when I was young. Still come back here to listen in 2020.
Denise are you sure the song came out in 1977 cos I’ve been trying to remember. I finished high school 1975.
Wow . I was introduce to this song in the 80s. my mom use to play this on the way to the dentist when she picked me up from school. brings back memories of simple times.

I know I can rebuilt the collection but it'll never be the same. *shakes first at parents* Don't worry, I still love you.

It does sound different. Listen to the other versions. It must not be compressed as much.
Its not high quality, youtube compresses it and so does recording it through a mic. It is lower quality than the one on spotify.

Extraordinariamente claro. El sonido del vinil no tiene igual. Aquí escuchando con mi hija de 10 años intentando que aprecie la buena música.
Te felicito amigo ... Yo hago lo mismo . Intentar dejar en ellos el buen gusto .. un abrazo.
I feel bad that an entire generation has not had the pleasure of listening to a good vinyl.. there isn't anything that compares to that sound.
