Thanks for a great video featuring my hometown Atlanta. Next time you should visit the Atlanta History Center and The Botanical Garden especially in the Spring!
Thanks for the tips! The Atlanta History Center looks really neat! I'll have to check it out! I did get a chance to go to the Botanical Garden when I was there last and it's in my latest Atlanta video!
I don't know the specific name of the location but it's near the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark. You can walk there from the beltline at Ponce City Market going south.
I know that there is a pretty large Asian community north east of Atlanta near Chamblee. I can't speak to the safety specifically as I don't live there but hopefully someone can chime in on that.
How do you visit Atlanta and not mention one place that has to do with the Civil Rights Movement? The Civil Right Museum is right by the Coca-Cola Museum and the Aquarium. There is also the King Center, several HBCUs like Spelman, Morehouse, and Clark. Your list is ridiculous!
You're right there is so much more to the city and so many amazing places to visit! This was just based off of what I did and had time for when I visited.
I hosted a Norwegian family and they insisted on seeing the MLK Birthplace and King Center. I’m always amazed at the number of foreign visitors who are there.
00:40 WTF!! Did that skateboarder just shit on his pants! 🤣 Thanks for the tips, planning on going there this Thanksgiving.
