You can literally just put your grenade launcher ranging to 100m and look straight up in the direction of the enemies, and vouila... You have a short range accurate mortar. I think you forgot to mention that, even if you dont kill the enemies by hitting very close to them, frag grenades have a relatively big circle of impact where they cause a bleeding. This will at least burn bandages of them. If they bandage, they lose time where you or your Squad can approach more safely.
One of the tips I don't think you mention or possibly few people know about, but on the American kit with the RCO/ACOG you can range enemy infantry with the optic. The horizontal line is approximately the width of someone's shoulders at that range. I'm sure you're well aware of this since you're prior military, but a good tip nonetheless.
Yeah I was taught that while I was in! It's a really cool tool, but I've just chose to never really include it in guides up this point. Maybe one day in a more advanced guide or just a video about things that most players don't know about.
Awesome guides dude. Any chance of you doing a more in depth video on LAT and HAT? I find those videos are great but needs to be more clear on map movement, working with a fire team and going over every single launcher more in depth with time stamps that’s what I would like to see. Thanks for the videos dude! Keep up the great work!!!
Thank you! Do you mean more in depth than my current LAT/HAT guide? I've made one that you can watch here: ruclips.net/video/l121EXuyIn4/видео.html If you're looking for something other than that let me know.
Little trick I just figured out, when zoomed all the way in on the map, each small square is 33 meters. So 100 meters is 3 small squares. This isn't full proof, but it is the best I have. If you wanna do a little trigonometry then go for it and figure out distance of diagonal squares.
After a little under a 1000hrs I find the launched grenades to be weak in the damage department, I mean 3m come on that's like the size of the beat zone of a coax. I would be fine if they kept the lethal radius the same but make a bleed range bigger or something like that or just gave it a flat out boost in general
@@griffin5226 No I knew what you meant. I was probably a little unclear in my response. My bad, answered before my brain fully woke up. I was more so saying hand grenades have a lethal range of 6ish meters for m67s and RGDs and 8ish meters for F-1s. Since you can accurately hit ranges up to 250-300 meters with the GL, I think having the lethal range at around 3 meters is good as far as balance goes. I do think increasing the bleed range would be good to give the grenadier a bit more strength with his kit.
It has more real-world application than in-game. For the most part you're using it to obstruct your enemies sight-lines, but you could use a specific color to mark an area where enemies are coming from so friendlies know exactly where to look.
Impossible for me to change the range with the grenade launcher (aiming down sight, holding x and scrolling) does nothing, it just show me the shorter range (50m)
This comment just showed up for me a month late lol. But yeah my Adobe Premier was double uploading and one title would be a long slew of letters and numbers.
Please please please, empthasize the biggest concern I have with most grenadier players YOU DON'T NEED TO USE THEM! If you see an enemy out in the open, on a roof, in a field, just kill them! it's an easy shot. use your grenades for a guy in a treeline you're having trouble spotting, or a guy you just saw back behind cover, or one stood in a building who backs away from a window, Nobody wants to be the guy who uses all their grenades on rifle targets, then runs out when you have a machine gunner posted up in an apartment window.
Not really sure if you mean that in a bad way. Karma talks clearly, concisely, and confidently in his videos and I think that's something any creator should strive to achieve. If you mean my voice, then there's nothing I can do about sounding similar to another person.
At 300 hours, I had no idea that there was a mortar mode. That's nuts!
It's a blast to use too! Watch enemies run in confusion as grenades start hitting them while they thought they had cover.

Semper Fi brother!
These are the best Squad role quides I have seen so far. I have 140 hours in the game and these help me a lot.
the dislike is someone that caught a 40mm to the chest
Haters gonna hate, naders gonna nade.
Great vid! Whenever i shoot an explosive and it doesnt arm i just want to run away and hide lol

Another great one Gorlami, especially liked the stamina part and the using of walls when trying to hit someone.
Thank you I really appreciate that!
I didn't even know I needed this, great guide as always. :]
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
This guides are sooooooo goldddddd
Best Russian 40mm is the Rpg 7 Frag round, massive range, splash and kill radius
Finally a grenadier kit
Had a ton of requests, so hat to get her done! Hope you enjoyed!
Could you do a vid guide on mg and heavy mg? I haven't really been able to find a video on it.
That's the next guide I'll be working on!
Binos for ranging too, although not many grenadier kits get them.
Yeah great point! I rarely take out the Grenadier kits that don't have an optic cause I feel very restricted.

If you encounter a piece of armor fire the insta bloom smokes onto the vision ports it may buy you some time to retreat or have AT take it out.
Great tip!
really good Guide
Thank you!

This Guide is by far better than the germans I normaly see
Thank you!
Is there a kit you're NOT good with?
Not that I'm aware of, no. Haha high praise man, thank you!
So is the dual round really work??? Like can it take out enemy inside linght armor vehical(tiger, mrap and the like)

Yeah I mean it can be touchy. I think in reference to hand grenades it sits in a good spot. I wouldn't mind them increasing the bleed range.
@@Gorlami14 I should have clarified *launched grenades I'm alright with the general hand grenade performance

im not gonna watch this like how hard can it be right?
(shoots accidentally towards teammates and shoots again at the floor infront of self)
Lol well I'm glad I could help! Good luck out there!
What use does the different color smokes provide? In what situation would I choose one over the other?

When are they going to fix the smoke glitch, where only the gunner can see it?
I'm hoping they'll have it fixed for V2. They said the play-test on Sunday was the final one before release, so I'm hoping we could see it next week.
Impossible for me to change the range with the grenade launcher (aiming down sight, holding x and scrolling) does nothing, it just show me the shorter range (50m)

Does grenadier get frag grenades?
Great vid, especially as im a nooooob!

"GORNADIER" kit is fun to use...lol
