Amazing work. As a professional sewing costumes all over the world and in NYC at costume shops I have had the pleasure of working with many talented sewing artists. Your work is amazing and so well done. Please consider selling your patterns and doing an online course. I would be interested in that.
This is such a concise and, frankly, elegant tutorial. The steps are so clear {and that trick with the chalk is frankly game-changing}. I've recently come into some beautiful suiting wool. I'm going to be referring back to this video for construction and fitting. Thank you so much in advance. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
Thank you for sharing! In high school (many years ago😅), I cloned a maxi coat and pants with brown paper and news paper..it was soo piece together, made it in plaid material (yes, matched up everything). It was a hit! I now have a swing dress that I want to clone and this helped me bring back my passion! Thank you for sharing!
Amazing. This is literally the first video about sewing that I've ever watched as I have some old jackets that I would love to recreate. I'm truly in awe. I can only hope that I will be able to achieve this level of skill. Amazing work :)
Love the video, I was waiting for it since you posted a preview on Instagram. Funny that this is the only way I can get clothes to fit me well. I have drafted patterns for pretty much everything and they always end up not working in one way or another. Copying existent clothes is the best solution for me and I pretty much do it like you. Sometimes I improve the fit, other times, just copy like it is. I'm doing this with a jacket now, let's see how it'll turn out.
Thank you for this. Being plus sized it is hard to find good fitting clothes. I have a few pairs of shorts I am going to try and duplicate first and then jeans. Thank you!!
loved seeing this video. Thank you for posting ! Could you post a video about your rulers? I haven't seen them before. The two teardrop clear rulers that looks like it's from Japan. xx thank you
So very talented I so love to see true workmanship and the detail you put into all these videos. Your designs are truly inspiring. I love the idea of “rubbing off the jacket like that”. I might try it.
I just found your channel and I'm so happy right now ! I'm studying fashion design and you post such great ressources for my personnal work, it's just awesome (I'm working on a suit right now and I was wondering how to make my pattern out of my toile and now I see exactly how to do !). Thank you for your work. Hope you all the best !
so so amazing ❤️please keep making videos you guys are so inspiring and talented!!! I'm a fashion design student and your videos/instagram give me so much life ❤️
this is excellent to watch and learn from - I've watched this dozens of times to try to figure out how to construct the shoulder/back gussets but I am struggling - I'm not even sure what they are called! they are great for making a jacket/coat look slimming but have great mobility. would you be able to tell me?
thank you so much for a lovely video! Question: where did you get the Bunka pattern weights? Do you know of any way I can get them here in New York City? Thank you :)

I could watch your video all day long, please do an online course with detailed explanations, I would pay for that!
So would I! The best video of this sort I've seen!
If there is anyone deserving of a patron, it is this gentlemen.
