when i watch videos like these, i am constantly telling myself please do not end.. this is a gem, students of the craft will enjoy your dedication and watch this many times over. obviously you are an expert from your education and career, but how did you recreate these patterns - asking as someone who wants to learn themself. im on the path of learning more pattern making/theory and characteristics of the body but im trying to understand how you made the entire modeliste archive, im in awe. would love to connect and learn more from you
I really enjoyed this, I agree clothes made that way peaked in the 90s and are so much less creative now. I wish more creative pattern cutting would come back. Looking forward to your next video.
It would be great if you keep making videos like this which helps to understand pattern making in depth. Also can you talk about menswear pattern making? People rarely talk about men’s pattern making and tutorials so it would be very helpful! Thank You^^
Thank you for sharing.I learnt design and cutting in the 70’s and have often grieved what would seem to be the loss of so many skills. It’s so reassuring when I see someone of your age enjoying the wonder of being a consummate cutter!
It was a great pleasure watching your new video. I was educated in pattern drafting for women and men at M.Müller & Sohn in Germany. It was more an old-school approach. So I really love the way you work and I can feel the passion you put in it. Thank you so much for all the inspiration.
Thank you, i feel sometimes in fashion school everything is so hectic. I particularly love pattermaking and working with my hands, so to me your videos are so calming, help me learn and inspire me to continue. Ps: your editing and footage are really great❤
Thank you for sharing these gem details to us here, especially to people like me who loves to pursue fashion design but will probably never learn the traditional way in design schools 💕 Appreciate so much what you do ❤️
wow so beautiful, im a design student right now and the amount of thought and obvious knowledge that you have really comes through in these videos, just wow
Thank you so much for your videos. Im starting fashion school next year and I am very excited learn just about everything I could. Having stumbled upon your channel, made me really happy.
The videos you made really helped me a lot. I’m a student current studying diploma in fashion design. Personally I really love comme des garçons due to the silhouette and forms the garments creates. The content that u covered in the video u made is really amazing and I just wanna say thank you and I really appreciated it. Lastly thanks for sharing your working experiences in comme des garçons, it is so interesting to know how they come out with a collection. Keep doing it and educated young designers like me.
wow! I am learning to make patterns for clothes etc etc, and your videos are very helpful I thank you very much! I would like to know how you make the patterns of the pants, I have already seen several videos on how to make the patterns and it would really be helpful, everyone thanks for everything you show on your channel and on your networks (sorry if I misspelled I'm using a translator)
just w o w ! i really admire your work and all you put into it. everything's so beautifully done. i hope your goal of inspiring designers to be more creative will be fulfilled.
is there any way of buying some of your patterns? I just graduated in fashion design, and I am trying to create and expand my portfolio and I would love to develop further some of your patterns and techniques. we have very similar thoughts on how clothing should be made, but I lack the skills of patternmaking.
Thank you so much for your videos. Can you recommend any books or literature for a beginner like me to learn pattern making logic and technique? Your patterns are so beautiful, but I am still struggling to even make a tshirt that fits right 🤦🏽♂️.
it's interesting pattern cutting like this but wouldn't it save money if you just cut smaller pieces and add a seam instead of extending stuff from the dart? consumers won't recognize the detail anyways so it's really just an art form

when you mean young, how young? great video btw!
I don't think he's referring to any specific age. By young designers he means beginners (including me)

HELLO MY FRIEND
I don’t get it 😅🥺
That’s 👌 ok
