As a design student finding pattern drafting hard and confusing, I really appreciate your works and your channel. I feel like you guys are making pattern drafting enjoyable for students of fashion. 🙏🏻 from Korea
Wow I love this channel so much. Thanks for keeping us all inspired 💫💫
I love your channel too! Thank you for mentioning my channel :)
As a dressmaker, working alone for my small atelier, I spend a lot of time drawing my patterns, I feel the value of my work depends of my own patterns. I love learn with you, and dream to achieve your skills. You are so talented... 💗💗 Thank you!!
This is random, I was watching your videos when I suddenly realized how much I appreciate the subtitles being at the center of the video! Love your content and thoughts
I'm studying materials science but have recently been inspired to create clothing to express myself creatively. Not only am I learning so much from your videos as a complete beginner, but they are an absolute breath of fresh air amidst a continually crazy world. Thank you for your work
I am a fashion student now and I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Your videos are incredible. You’ve inspired me to create clothes and because of you I’ve just enrolled into a one year design program. Please continue to create these they are amazing. Your words of wisdom along with your knowledge of garment construction is something I’ve never seen before. The world needs these! Really I can’t thank you enough
Bro thank you so much ! Really have been taking pattern making seriously since you started, working on an apprenticeship at the local pattern table n have my eyes on some overseas jobs. Your channel helps a lot, thank you for real you’re the man 👌🏽
the practical wisdom, ambience and production level of this video and channel is beyond describing. love it.
I am not a designer but just learning to sew....inspired by your work here. Please keep going even can be hard work !
This is the type of morning coffee/ inspiration video I love to watch before getting to work !!Also your cat is soooo cute. 😍
This is golden stuff, I appreciate taking your time to create this archive for us upcoming designers.
wow i literally made a pattern today by just measuring myself and it actually turned out well. thanks for sharing this.
It feels so humble, thank u for the energy and advice,,
Thank you so much for kindly sharing your knowledge 💗 and your website and videos are beautiful!
What a simple yet profound video! Truly love how you defined what fashion design is to you; it is indeed crucial to start from the elementary basics if you want to become an expert.
This was absolutely incredible and inspiring. Looking forward to future videos on branding, conceptualising, and hopefully more instructional patternmaking and draping!!!
I totally agree with you here. As someone who makes patterns for products (as opposed to apparel/fashion), there's definitely benefits to 2D sketching, but IMO the amount of new things you can learn and discover when you build something in 3D and experience the process is insurmountable. Anyways work you're doing is awesome!
Thank you for your inspiring teachings. I feel blessed that I found you. Love your work.
I love pattern making even more than draping...I wish my studio was as clean and organized as yours. I'm gonna work on it.
Thank you for this, its always great to get advice and information from people inside the industry. I studied fashion design at university a few years back. I still intend to enter that field but life got in the way (no excuses) then covid. The more time that passes the more I feel I am lessening my chances. Though this won't stop me from trying.
Love the Jacket you're working on at the end 😊😉 Nice side styling.
thanks so much for this, such a lovely video with great advice
Wow thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! This is really helpful✨
Your advice is very good for young designers! 🙏
You make work like an Great Artist.

Just like me, whenever I put patterns and fabrics on the table, my cat always bothered me. But I like it 😊 Thanks for the knowledge today bro 💖
Thank you so much! Interesting journey 🖤

where did you buy your dress forms?
I think i can speak for everyone here...please tell us where you bought your tools. I love your stackable pattern weights
if your in LA go to IDS! (international design supplies) They have great prices and a very homey shop.
He got a separate video on introducing his tools!
The stackable pattern weights, you can get here : (I got 4 of them in a very light green color, they are just GREAT)
www.bunka-koubai.com/shop/itemdetail.php?n=1669
They sell them through a international shipping company which was extremely clear and they send you info of every step when your products are on the way to you. (even if they are not that expensive in japan, the shipping and taxes will cost even more than the product, just for you to know. ) My Kindest Regards
Beautiful
Very beautiful video! May I ask what the weights that you put on your patterns are called? I’ve been looking for some for myself but can’t seem to find any...
Check his website under shop/ tools they are listed with a link to Amazon.
