I'm convinced that the only reason Adam hates free will is because, if given the choice, NO one chooses him. Not Lilith, not Eve... heck, even Heaven seem to be stuck with him, rather than actually wanting him.
There’s a theory going around that he’ll come back as a sinner next season, his mask glitched when he tried to kill Charlie and he died in Hell. Sir Pen died trying to save them and was redeemed, Adam died after trying to kill them. He could come back dammed. If that’s the case, maybe what you pointed out will be something he has to work on the be redeemed again. Being a decent person enough for someone to want to choose him.

Adam was simply the "first soul in heaven" because he died first. But yeah, angelic weapons would erase ANYONE, even Charlie, who is born immortal - which actually helps prove the above point, because Adam mocks her for risking her immortal life for sinners, which is very purposeful wording.
I know this might sound crazy, but it seems like Alastor’s strongest source of power is his microphone, given how panicked he was when it broke and how he immediately ran away when it was broken. And while that might not seem like much, if that is the case, then that to me proves how much he trusts Charlie when watching 7-8 back to back because that would mean he literally handed his source of power to Charlie so she can pitch her hotel and her plan to the cannibals in episode 7 and he did it without even a second thought. Whether or not Alastor is good or bad and whether or not anyone else in the hotel matters to him, he’s made it clear (at least in my eyes) that he has grown to trust and possibly even care about Charlie.
I think it's clear the gang is growing on him. It clearly wasn't his intent and he even laments about it in the breakdown during the finale song. He's bound to Charlie for whatever exact reason, we don't know yet, but he needs to be there. As a result, whether he wants it to happen or not, I think the gang is going to continue growing on him.
One big plot hole here is that: How does Vaggie not know that Angels can be harmed by Angelic weapons. When she LITERALLY lost her eye (got harmed) by an Angelic weapon.
My guess is that she thought angels couldn't be harmed by beings that weren't, well... angels. Remember Lute also ripped off Vaggie's wings with her bare hands. It could also be that she thought she had "fallen", making her more susceptible to harm from another angel. Also... That was super traumatizing; I'm sure she tried hard NOT to think about it.
Daphne Rubin-Vega (Carmilla) and Stephanie Beatriz (Vaggie) are reunited since the 2021 musical In the Heights. That explains why the song “Out for Love” sounds so fluid and beautifully performed. There’s experience!

This was fantastic so can’t wait for the 2nd season which was Greenlit - Sir Pentious (my favorite character) first died in 1888 & with his 2nd being the present which resulted him in now as an Angel which is kind of interesting it was a snake that was the first one to be redeemed since it was a snake that tricked Adam & Eve out of the Garden of Eden & it’s interesting that Sir Pentious died by Adam’s hand because they are both voiced by Alex Brightman - Niffty is voiced by Kimiko Gleen who also voices Susan the cannibal from the last episode, Lena (DuckTales -2017), Peni (Spider-verse), Kiff (Kiff), Nomi (Dogs in Space), Horse (Centaurworld), Paperstar (Carmen Sandiego), Ezor (Voltron), & many more - Rosie is voiced by Leslie Kritzer who played Delia & Miss Argentina in the Broadway of “Beetlejuice” - Katie Killjoy is voiced by Brandon Rogers who also voices Blitzo in VivziePop’s other series Helluva Boss - I have been waiting for this song “Ready for This”, & fun fact episode 7’s title is based on “Hello Dolly!”

In my opinion, Vaggie made the worst fucking choice of letting Lute live. She lost Adam, someone she cared deeply for. And we know that Lute is the type of person who will burn the whole place down just to prove a point. I get it, plot reasons for season 2. But realistically, I wouldn't have let her live
I laughed WAY too hard at your sheer shock to Pentious death. "That's it???" Yeah. Like I get the joke of his got this whole build up to stopping Adam, just to go out like a candle light which is pretty funny. But after the arch his character had, the screentime he was giving AND the hype to his sacrifice, Pen shouldn't have gone out like that. At least ONE hit on Adam or give others time. But oh, well. Least Pen got a heros welcome to heaven

like i said to multiple other reactors this fibnal episode is perfect to see who is good person or bad irl because if they think showing mercy to adam and lute was wrong then they are bad people if they think it was good let them be to not sink to theire level they are good people
Little hints (such as that both were gone for 7 years) point to that Lilith has a leash on Alastor...but it maaay just be a red herring. Who knows. Hopefully we get the answer in Season 2. Also I REALLY hope they bring Adam back as a sinner soul in Season 2, but he is such a complicated case. Was born a human, this is his first death, which means he should go to Hell, for all the things he did...but he was an angel when he died, and was killed by angelic blade..so does that mean he is permanently gone?
My guess is that Alastor will use the favor to become Charlie's right hand when she ascends to Hell's throne. This would make him second only to the Royal Family therefore outranking any sinner, demon noble and even Deadly Sin. In this episode, he has already voiced his desire to form her, making her an investment for him. I don't think he's stupid enough to aim for Hell's throne itself seeing as so far, no demon seems to give a sh*t about who sits there anyways (also, his ascension would likely cause the hellborn nobles and Deadly Sins to revolt, that is if Lucifer wouldn't just erase him for it to begin with, and I'm sure Alastor knows that). Therefore, I think it's more likely he wants to be the man behind the throne, whispering into Charlie's ear pulling everyone's strings, sinners, hellborn and Deadly Sins alike, as the puppeteer in the shadows. Either that or to have Charlie take his place in the deal he made.
I don't think they in their finale song did a good job showing it was a time lapse especially the V's and Alastor with it actually implying Alastor disappeared after the battle with Adam.
