I didn’t like the sneakers people were wearing, but I imagine that was the most comfortable choice for footwear, so that’s completely valid.
lol coachella started in 1999 dear and i went in 2009 when i was 16 and when they used to sell single day passes and it was probably one of the most magical concert experiences of my life (and i went to a show at least once a weekend for like 10 years) but i don’t think you could pay me to go these days to watch all of these silly folks fixate on the fashion and seemingly not give a fuck about the music… plus indio is like satans asshole level of heat which i can not handle. but i’ll happily hardcore judge their outfits from afar and watch all of the “judging coachella outfits” videos like this one. ❤️🔥

Okay I'm probably going to sound like a snob but I hate what Coachella has become. It seemed like it used to be one of the best festivals to see a ton of your favorite artists large or small. But now influencers are just buying up the tickets to walk around and take pictures all day and maybe see the headliner. It's a huge waste for big music fans like me who would be incredibly grateful to afford a ticket to go. I mean cmon Caroline Polachek, Carly Rae Jepsen, Baby Keem, and so many other incredible artists. But people just want to buy up the tickets for some stupid Instagram content. What a shame.

Loved to see Anitta using the colors (at least somewhat) of the Brazilian flag! And also: She's Brazilian. We've been colonized to use things that don't work on our normal temperature because "foreign is always better", like freaking full suits on 40°C heat. I wore thick dark denim pants to school everyday, and I used to walk home wearing those under 43° heat. We can handle a little bit of leather, don't worry lol

I don’t think the one outfit was 2 different grays. I think the darker part had a shadow on it. The bottom part in the sun was lighter like the top

lol coachella stared in 1999 dear and i went in 2009 when i was 16 and they used to sell single day passes and it was easily one of my best concert experiences (and i used to go to at least one show a weekend for like a decade) but i don’t think you could pay me to go now when the focus seems to be on flexing on everyone with how frivolous you can make your outfits rather than on the music. plus indio is terribly hot which i’m not down with. but i’ll happily judge all of their outfits from afar and watch all of the “judging coachella fashion” videos like this one! ♥️

The problem with Coachella outfits is that it’s skinny girl fashion. Influencers are shopping at stores that aren’t body inclusive and keep circulating the idea that skinny girl fashion is what’s in and that’s not realistic for everyone.
Hm I feel like this is a generalisation, the coachella vibe does not seem to be only skinny imo
I guess, but "skinny girl fashion" is a super big generalization for a pretty big range of problems with clothing companies that go beyond just size inclusivity (I'm midsize to plus and it's more shape that's a problem for me than size)
