They're a party of "empathy" but in reality its "blind kindness and empathy"
What they have is nothing that represents compassion.
Sadly, a lot of people don't bother doing their research, and a big part of why so many are ignorant about what's going on is because "they don't want to have anything to do with politics" or "they're trying to avoid politics"
You CANNOT avoid politics. Politics by definition is about how people are governed and the laws that are in place or new ones being pushed. It affects everyone. The more people know about politics and how bills are passed and about their Constitution(s), the better. Unfortunately the corrupt have injected narratives into politics, and that's half the reason why people hate/avoid politics. The other reason is natural laziness into learning anything that is remotely a little challenging or complicated.

No, you have it backwards. Black people are fine and safe in my nearly all white neighborhood. Not even rudeness or racist comments or thoughts. I am not safe in some nearly all black neighborhoods... Once even a friendly black guy told me in the interest of my personal safety I need to gtfo fast.

When I was in highschool in the 80s my blonde haired, blue eyed English teacher told us about being a kid on a trip to DC in the 60s. He was walking down the street in a black neighborhood the day MLK was shot. A black cab driver pulled up, told him to get in. He didn't have any money, the man told him that didn't matter. Took him back to the Mall.

You're wasting your time with this comment. Britt has been programmed from birth to believe that black people are the default victims of Planet Earth and white people are the default racists of Planet Earth. She will always believe that white privilege exists and black privilege does not exist, even though there is a mountain of evidence in our society showing the complete opposite is true. The most privileged people in America believe they are the most oppressed. They will ALWAYS be this way. The best response to buffoonery like this is to roll your eyes, laugh at the court jesters, and move on to something more productive.

57:21 That's not really a conversation about privilege anymore that's just a conversation about racism. That's people being racist because a black person has money and has been successful, and that absolutely still happens. What she's saying is that "white privilege" doesn't apply to 90% of white people. Travel the country and most of the white folk are poor and living paycheck to paycheck at best just like the black folks. I'm Hawaiian, born and raised in Hawaii so I don't really have a horse in this race but I keep seeing these arguments go back and forth and I think from an outside perspective all of these things just divide us.

Both sides for the most part want the same things, safety, security, prosperity, etc... They just disagree on how to get there. So i decided in 2015(ish) that from then on i was going to read the manifestos for the candidates and vote for which one i thought was going to do the most good regardless of who was saying it. And, yes, my candidate may not always win, and sometimes none of the candidates are proposing things that will make life better for people so i don't vote, but at least i can live with a clear conscience knowing i didn't actively make the world worse by voting tribally or by voting for the least worst candidate with a chance of winning... because least worst is still worse than the best.

48:00 as a person who has lived under a dictatorship all my life, it is very strange for me to see that people vote for a person, and not for what that person suggests. This is exactly the situation in which my country has turned into a dictatorship. Please vote for the ideas, not for the person.

    • @Neyenn
      @Neyenn 6 дней назад

Facts bro. One of the biggest points of dictatorship is the "cult to a leader" (I dont know how to translate it from spanish). Thats why I always found so disgusting how there is people in my country with a picture of a politician (who was Mussolini's fan, btw... Just connect the dots) in their kitchen and things like that. The amount of "cult to a person" that exist in my country is absolutely disgusting. People voting for someone just because they swear to keep with the work of X politician who died 20 years ago. Like in Argentina, you have Cristina Kirchner using Peronism as their main political idea but they are left-wing asf, and Peron was in fact more right-wing that anything. I would spit in the face of those politcians who now's use his name.

Shoe published a video a bit over a year ago called “the male loneliness epidemic”, which is how I found her. And the comments section of that video is heartbreaking. But that video I think shows why people resonate with Shoe.
Her ideology is based on class awareness and populism, which leads to compassion for the lower and middle classes and empathy for others who deal with power dynamics between classes. This led to her empathizing with men in a way few left wing creators have been able to. I think she doesn’t place enough emphasis on how racial history has led to modern day issues with pretty much all non-white people in America, but she’s pretty spot on with the failures of the parties and the criticisms they deserve.

    • @Spiney09
      @Spiney09 3 дня назад

To add on to this, shoe also clearly hasn’t been in circles of other races as much. “We don’t see color” has some issues, any framework to attempt to solve racism does. But she still nails the fatigue that many white male voters feel.
I am white and male. I had multiple people on social media basically tell me I was the issue. I still voted blue, but at this point it feels like the only people who see me on the left are people like shoe who are actively being shunned by other parts of the left.
Also, there’s a lot of white people who read the books like white fragility and understand the concepts, but then are still talked down to because they are labeled racist and to blame for everything. These are the behaviors we ourselves were told to avoid doing to black people. And we shouldn’t do that to black people 100%, but to then have the same things turned on us? It feels hypocritical, which is a reason I can’t get any of my other male friends to even consider the Democrat party due to its messaging.

Great reaction! I wanted to touch on the "white privilege" thing. Let's assume it happens as often as you say. How do poor whites have the "privilege" of not having that particular issue that rich blacks have? Rich blacks likely don't have people assume they are racist and privileged, should we call that lack of problem a form of "black privilege"?
People aren't objecting to "white privilege" because they believe black people don't experience racism. They are objecting because "white privilege" implies that it's somehow related to the white people that a negative experience of black people can happen. And poor whites (often correctly) feel like they are being blamed for other people's racism, especially as it's rich white people that would be making these assumptions. Does that make sense?

Because at least the one in the competing tribe is a tribal, they can understand them and maybe even convert them to their side, but people who don't instinctively want to belong so badly, they'll believe anything their tribe tells them, are the scariest and most alien to them. Because they're incomprehensible and fear of the unknown is at play there.

Just like the girls who say there are "no good men," this fantasy of "white privilege" only exists because 99% of the population is invisible. Stop focusing on the fraction of a percent of the population that is thriving and start noticing the 99.9% that are struggling just like you---or even more than you.
Also, shift your focus from color to culture. "White" is not a monolith. The Irish suffered mightily under the English boot, and to call a conservative Irishman "British" is to incite them to violence.

If this happened to a Dem at a Biden rally, I feel like I’d pray for the family. I think I could say the same of my folks. So the other side just going “well he’s probably a racist fascist, so it’s okay” …is indeed, fucking crazy.

57:00. I didn’t really want to comment but I feel compelled to. When Thomas Sowell was asked about his thoughts on systemic racism he gave this response, “It really has no meaning that can be specified and tested in the way that one tests hypotheses. It does remind me of the propaganda tactics of Joseph Goebbels during the age of the Nazis, in which he's supposed to have said that 'People will believe any lie if it is repeated long enough and loud enough.'" When people make presumptive judgements based on unmeasurable generalizations on the basis of race or social class, it’s fair to ask what are they trying to accomplish? When a society begins tearing down statues, renaming schools, restructuring social norms, and denying their founding values, you’re heading down a path that ends very badly.
In 1966 Mao Zedong began a campaign to regain political influence known as The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. This revolution consisted of eliminating the four olds: Old Ideas, Old Culture, Old Customs, Old Habits. All across China statues were torn down, schools shut down and renamed, all religions were rejected, and society was reimagined to reinforce socialist values. People may be in denial when one points out these parallels taking place, but denial doesn’t change reality. Today people are called boomer when they talk about the good things from our nations past. Christian Nationalism has become a slander used to denounce anyone who wants to restore our nation to its founding values. Opponents of any type of DEI program have been labeled as bigots. And those who oppose major social changes being rushed into society (like defunding the police or reimagining…) are quickly reminded of their “systemic racism”. When a black man is called “the black face of white supremacy” we’re no longer talking about racial equality. The people in this video may be informed as far as knowing whats taking place in the world around them, but I find their opinions lacking a true depth of knowledge.

Hi Britt, as UK citizen now living in Australia and an atheist, I totally agree with the majority of what you said both sides of politics use the same tactics to convince voters to vote for them the main problem in the US is that the US democratic system has a few flaws.
One, is executive power unlike like your president the prime minister of the government does not have executive power except in time of a state of emergency such as war, or natural disaster. apart from that any change to the law has to go through the parliamentary process of both houses.
Two, lacks separation of power the Judiciary in both the Uk are elected to office by parliament but the recommendations for office come from the judiciary themselves in the UK the decision of who is made by a bipartisan committee from both major parties and also including interested parties such as layers social agencies and such like In Australia the government decides based on the recommendations although there are moves to adopt a system similar to the UK to make the process more transparent.
The other part of the separation of power unlike the US the prime minister does not have immunity from prosecution or the ability to pardon someone any politician at any level of government can be prosecuted even during their term in office and if convicted of a serious crime can be excluded from office, they usually resign before that happens. Also, government can only pardon people in exceptional circumstances such as a proven miscarriage of justice at no other times can the judiciary be overruled.
Three, for any constitutional change to occur then this has to go to a vote to people in the form of a referendum. even major policy changes like Brexit in the UK was put to the people in the form of a referendum.
So essentially in the UK and Australia and many other countries such as New Zeeland, Canada, Some of Europe and Asia nobody has absolute power the old adage is Power corrupts but Absolute power Corrupts Absolutely

First and foremost, the far left and the MAGA crowed are EXACTLY the same when it comes to ‘agree with me 100% on EVERY topic, or you’re trash and we HATE you.’ Both look down on the other while doing the same exact thing. I was always fairly moderate on most issues but the chaos over the last few years has shifted me more to the right. The MAGA crowd welcomed me with open arms UNTIL I recently had an opinion on one executive order and BAM, now I’m trash to the MAGA crew. My ‘crime’ was agreeing with the sentiment of an EO but disagreeing with the rhetoric around the EO. That’s it!! So either side criticizing the other for being ‘all or nothing’ is ridiculous.

Women if any color have “pretty privilege” over all men, all the time, so shouldnt we address the sexism then? Priveledge is entirely based on personal feelings and bias one way or the other its not systematic, it never has been, the system, just has biased people. 😮

Yay! Finally I found someone with common sense. Being appealing to the eye (no matter sex or ethnicity) really gives you a lot of advantages in life, even when competing for a job position.

Blaming the voters is like... a new beer brand comes out and the beer tastes like warm cat urine so nobody buys the beer and the company goes out of business. It wasn't the beer's fault for tasting horrible, it's those beer drinkers fault for refusing to buy our beer.
    What bro?

My favorite phrase these days is "Common sense is not common". The logic of the "left" is noticeably insane these days.

America needs more political parties so the center isn't controlled by the extreme left or right But this is my first shoeonehead video and she is the bomb. lol

I 💯 agree with you Britt, when it comes to politics, you don’t need to pick a side. How about we go with common sense and voting for what makes sense not what a political party is pushing. Thank you for having common sense.

20:00 That guy is the type of person that goes to a comedy bar and when a black guy has the mic he doesn't laugh to "not be offensive" lmfao.

The parties are the problem. Blind allegiance to the parties, from both the politicians and the voters, is a problem. We should get rid of the parties. Even back in the Federalist Papers, there were arguments for not having political parties, or factions. How prescient that argument was.

Most human apes are inherently tribal. Trying to keep them from forming tribes is an uphill battle.

If I asked her 'who writes your stuff' I would follow it, right away, with 'do you do it yourself?'
