I've got this jacket. I wear it a lot more than I thought I would, especially with the liner. (But then I do Live in England) I'd rate it 10 out of 10... Great little summer jacket...
+Psycho Paul Glad to hear that.. I was looking at the Chrono and this one.. would love to get the Super Speed but whoah big cost difference.. was all set to buy one from Revzilla in another month and then stumbled on a deal on it used. If I can find the liner for sale separate I'd probably pick it up.
Great jacket. It looks like its very similar to my Laguna Seca Textile jacket but with mesh added to it. I love mine, it feels a little uncomfortable when I first put it on but as soon as I get on the bike its fits like a glove. I went with the Manis D1 back protector for mine, its a huge piece but it gives me confidence.
+DJ MotoVlogs The Laguna Seca is one of my favorite Dainese jackets as far as style is concerned. Although the Super Speed looks to be possibly one of the best mesh jackets out there, the Laguna Seca is IMO better looking. If I had not purchased my Xantum a few years ago I probably would have gone for the Laguna Seca D-Dry (the Xantum is D-Dry). I'm not sure if your jacket is as suited for cold weather like 40-50*F but I know you have a thermal liner. The Air-Frame is similar in its layout to yours.. with mesh where you have textile inserts on the chest and back. The Manis is bigger than my wave. I would expect you to be able to feel it more no?
+dafobra The thermal liner does a great job and I have ridden in local roads when it's about 35 degrees and it was very comfortable. I went on the highway yesterday morning and it was 39 degrees and I was a little cold but wasn't uncomfortable so I guess it all depends on how much you can tolerate. It's perfect for my needs. The Manis added a noticeable amount of weight and bulk to the jacket and you can definitely feel it but like anything you get used to it quick. I got the jacket in January so I'm curious to see how it is when it's hot out.
+CLUTCH1st VLOGS thanks.. hehe.. I knew someone would comment on the shirt.. it's my TRex that can't clap shirt... pretty sure its Roland Sands but not sure... :)
Someone give a salesman job to this man wow im sold. very cool review thumbs up. btw the Dino Shirt is Long sleeve or Short sleeve ??? any chance to have a review on it ?? is there any more colours available ??
I'm looking for a mesh jacket for this summer. What you pointed out about the elbow (AND forearm) protection is what soores really high, in my book, for this jacket. The armor seems like it cups better than any other jacket armor I've tried so far. It seems to cup/go up on the sides, thus makes me less worried about it not being there in the event of a crash. The arm size is nice and form fitting, too. Unlike other jackets which run big in the arms, which makes me worry about the pads not being in the correct position during a crash. I'm also looking into the Bilt Explorer Air Jacket. That one seems like a LOT of bang-for-the-buck, as it has a windbreaker and another warm liner. It might be a tough decision.
I'm just under 6 foot tall about 215 with a 43 in chest. I am wearing a 56 but I could probably go with a 58 cinched down on the waist and arm adjusters.. but the 56 feels better to me.. also I seldom wear it with a liner (hot weather only jacket) so the 56 is perfect for me.
I tried this on at my local Cycle Gear. Very nice jacket. Nice and simple. I wanted it right away. Was ready to buy when the sales rep told me it was too large for me and of course it was the last one they had.I ended up getting a A Stars Viper Jacket.Dainese products are beautiful but im not down with the devil logo. Sorry. Because of this I wont buy their stuff.
+brakes940 You are entitled.. I did have the Viper and it protected me well in a crash.. Despite the demon logo I can tell you that mesh vs mesh the Dainese is a level above Alpinestars when comparing the two jackets in durability. I'm not saying the Viper is bad.. like I said it saved me (review is on my channel too) but I do like the simplicity of the Air-Frame. Thank you for the comment and ride safe!

Size looks a tad small. Looks short on you. Make sure it won't ride up in the event of an off
Nice review as usual dude. But I really need to know more about the Dino shirt you have on! Review please! 😬

Always like the Dianese product...usually muted logos that are classy and clean.
Well Done !!!
;)
I may be getting the 4-stroke gloves next.

yeah the armor really inspires confidence.. This jacket has been discontinued but I'm seriously considering the updated Air Frame D1

Nice review! Can you please advise your height and weight? I am trying to figure out if I need a 54 or 56.
