Great question! I wear the Apple Watch (and the cheapest one at that) because sometimes I need a watch haha. Sounds simple, but hear me out: I like the Apple Watch because it integrates with my phone well and allows me to use timers, alarms and control maps and music from my wrist. Its great for what I need a smartwatch for. It is not, in my opinion, what is going to move the needle for me in fitness. It's features just aren't robust enough for me. I didn’t receive an up-cycle kit and was told that they no longer include up-cycle kits. I was also never told there wouldn’t be an up-cycle kit, and was actually led to believe I would get an up-cycle kit throughout the waiting process. I called about 3 times, and it seems like no body at WHOOP really cares until people speak out - like this is something to “reprimand” or “discipline” members. I have seen so many mixed reviews about the 4.0 in videos that, after receiving it today, I find a pattern in negligible customer interaction and continuous unspoken, seemingly intentional, undelivered quality and motive to frustrate members - either but part or all of the company executives. I hope you are enjoying your 4.0 and I am sorry for a long comment. I just invested too much of my time and love into WHOOP to not go crazy about what I received and when.
That’s a totally understandable sentiment given your experience with it! I would feel the same way and I hope Whoop figures out how to clear things up moving forward!

I’m sure it will be figured out, but I have this intuitive understanding that I am being secretly scolded. I failed Whoop somehow? I also asked for my own referral link, and they said, “we don’t do custom referral links.” And I also got a discount code that only partially worked, which wasn’t a big problem but that started to make me pretty frustrated overall - again like being taken advantage by Facebook metrics. 🤷🏻♂️
I so agree with this statement This concept of expecting customers to " pay and then go away" is so annoying. We wouldn't have made the purchase if we weren't impressed with the potential function of the product, but for Pete's sake can you help us get up and going.
Their packaging and the actual product is disgustingly underwhelming. Just got mine and popped into RUclips to figure out how to change it because there aren't instructions. Excited to see the data but Whoop, if you're reading this, your "onboarding" is garbage.

Be absolutely clear that Whoop’s sleep tracker is highly flawed. Last night it recorded that I was “awake” for 4 hours and 35 minutes. Absolute nonsense.

I do the same thing and, in addition Mr. Sloan’s reasons, I want my activity to be recorded on Apple’s Health app, which Whoop doesn’t support.
I wear my Garmin and the Whoop 3.0 as well!

All of the deliveries of 4.0 so far have come with the up cycle kit included, no one ordered it.
