Clean algae off walls "Wet & Forget"

  • I used a product called "Wet & Forget" sold by Home depot (over the internet only). I made this video to show how well it worked. We power washed it after a month. The rain would have washed it off but we didn't have much rain in southern Florida during the month. I decided to power wash of the fine powder that the algae turned into. I would recommend this product.

    It's not called "wet and power wash". So now I still don't know how well it works.

    "This wall actually came out pretty good" Pretty good is not good enough. Looks like a total waste using that product. Power wash would have done same job

      I use outside bleach with heavy duty Dawn soap. Sprayed the house down, and went back. The crud just melted off! A light rinse is all it took. I'm sure my recipe was a lot cheaper and worked faster.
