As many of the comments are already pointing out, the honesty and realistic approach you have is beyond another level. Haters gonna always hate. Finding proof for something is very hard, especially in this case when you to a certain degree are not sure what you are looking for. As an avid fly fisherman that love nature, I've always enjoyed your work, and the way this documentaries are edited. Greetings from Norway! :)

Every natural experience, from the mist, whales, martins, and birds, to the majestic mountains and whispering pines are all marvelous miracles. No need to feel disappointed or down because one particular creature doesn't make itself seen nor heard. The disillusionment you're portraying at times shouldn't be there, in my humble opinion. You're in a wonderland. Enjoy every moment.

Alex, I couldn't care less if you ever find Sasquatch. What I care about is you and the team do more for the search than anyone else. You are truly inspiring. You literally inspired me to film some amazing footage in Japan (I've just returned) I learnt about "b roll" from you. I've got some incredible footage of Mount Aso Volcano in Japan. It's because you and the team inspired me massively with my own film making. One day my small film will be on my channel too. The music on the videos creates a sense of wonder and even ominous tones. It really creates an atmosphere. Some of it sounds like age of empires sometimes or mass effect. I adore it. Anyway man, keep doing it. Never stop. I think I'm subscribed to this channel like 4 times on my other accounts haha. Also! Please keep the feelings and thoughts mini segment in your videos. I think discussing your feelings is really important. I'd like to see the rest of the group discussing their feelings too.
    Thanks man.

I just enjoy the nature and where you guys travel. Especially, the avian fauna since i have 35yrs experience in that field. And love seeing the different species of birds from one location to another you travel to. It doesn't always have to be about seeing or hearing squatches all the time. Because more likely than not you won't hear or see anything. I think if you go in with that expectation you'll be let down mighty quick. Instead enjoy the nature around you and all it's splendor. Some of these remote places you travel to nobody will even see in there lifetime.

Beautiful, clear, and lush area. All those low lying fern like shrubs. Creepy when the fog and mist rolls in. Sitting around a campfire surely sets the mood for something to go thump. I think adventure is in the journey, the research and patience that one needs to have. Countless hours, days, months and years doing field work doesn’t guarantee the prize. Maybe it’s just happenstance. Luck and being at the right place and time. People need to understand you don’t get results in seeing a “creature”, just because you want to or are looking for it. Actually, I feel that they seek people out and are curious. That’s when you might be fortunate to see a head peeking around a tree. I’ve watched many of these programs by other groups and STM is one of the best. No script, staged surprises, or saying every noise is “it”. I look forward to more of the Alaska Dark Coast. Alex you are a very good researcher and give concise, well spoken, language. Thanks to all for bringing top quality programs to us arm chair fans. Be careful out there. (An Indiana viewer 🍂🍁🍄🌾

The forest in the fog is so beautiful - I can almost smell the fresh air. And don't be discouraged, the reason why your films are so compelling is that we know you don't fake any of it. I'm a scientist and engineer myself and I know that although you can have a theory, at the end of the day you need hard evidence. We love following your journey, knowing that when something unexplainable does happen we can absolutely trust what we see. Scepticism and Wonder, as Carl Sagan would said!

Delightful as usual, Aleks! I respect that you don't fabricate activity or evidence, as so many televised Bigfoot shows have. I don't know if most people realize just how much of bigfooting is sitting around and hanging out waiting for something to happen, and usually nothing does. But every now and then makes up for all those times that were busts, to the true adventurer.

Beautiful scenery and awesome video. I don't know if you read these but if you see feathers on the ground look up in the tree, animals like a porcupine will pull feathers out and drop them and crunch up the bones as they eat the meat. That area by the shed that was low looked like an animal had chewed on the board to get under there after something. You may have found a tooth on the ground and the hair may have been different than the hair that likely is a bear. Wish I was able to still go around the woods like you guys are it is so calming and good for your health. Be safe.

Almost 30 years years ago I/we experienced something I can't explain. But youtube channel like this validated what my 3 yr old (at the time) niece and I experienced. Frist, there were the pebbles and a huge rock thrown at us on a forest trail in Northern Cali. Second, was the really Awful smell like a boonie dog from the islands - the smell of infection, wet dog hair, etc... Lastly, a hair moth filled boulder at the hill top that was maybe 20-30 yards away "rolled" moved over the hill. At first, I saw a hug rock, a hairy dark/reddish brown rock at the hill top, but it a rock. When the action stopped, I backtracked to the same spot I first saw the huge "boulder" and it wasn't there. it moved lol. So thank you for all the hard work that all of you do to find the truth. I'm from the islands and didn't care about bigfoot or a mysterious hairy giant until that event. what the hell did I see? I thought it was the deers, or kids messing around. but there was nobody there within 200 yards.

As always, 100% Top Notch (TM) production values, guy. Sighting or not, the scenery alone is breathtaking. I especially love the drone footage. It is amazing how thick the forest and resulting canopy truly are when seen from above! To me it just drives home the fact that any sighting is going to be a miracle of truly in the right place at truly the right time with truly the right technology. Even with the thermal gear on the drone, a heat signature can disappear quickly in that cover. To think that just a few decades ago, capturing such lush shots would have required a helicopter rental along with a 35 mm film camera and the rig/gear to mount it...and now we can just send up a drone with native 4K digital video! Sasquatch or not, you guys have had the honor and pleasure of visiting one of the most serene and beautiful places not just on our little earth, but probably in the entire cosmos!

Loving your program, the place is spectacular and your doing a great job 👍, iv been watching your films since the start and have enjoyed being on the journey with you all 😊,I think people today expect so much if you don't show a bigfoot it's boring, I think it's all in the journey and the mystery, keep going your doing great ❤😊

Hi Aleks - Please don't ever bring yourself or Small Town Monsters down or say that you have to "prove" anything. What you guys are doing is AWESOME and I love watching the journey and listening to the stories. This channel so totally deserves a pat on the back - the realistic approach is what I love about this channel - the best on RUclips. I do have a suggestion to maybe help "attract" Bigfoots: perhaps in future journeys, consider inviting a female member along for the experience. The reason why I say this is because (from what I have heard) Bigfoots are attracted to female pheromones - any consdieration for this hypothesis? Just a thought. Thanks for all that you do from a subscriber in Arizona!

I really appreciate all of your teams hard work and dedication and hopefully it will eventually produce positive evidence. I love the drone work and feel this will eventually yield results. Things can become aware of trail cams but have no idea a drone is above them most of the time. If these creatures are very rare and intelligent apex predators they will know their surroundings/territory inside out and what is in it and imagine they are fully aware of peoples presence

Alex, I've been watching your adventures for the past year or so. I only watch the Small Town Monsters only when you or Eli Watson have a story to tell. I'm not interested in any of the others. I have not seen one of these things; however, I tend to believe they do exist only because too many people claim they have. As far as photo proof, I believe the last thing anyone would think about is taking a clear photo. At first its shock followed by fear or intimation. Then maybe oh I need to get a picture by then it's too late. As far as lack of trail cam photos, I think they may see the IR light like some other animals do. And, your right no one is going to believe until there is one laying on a cold slab. I for one don't want to see anything to die to prove that it exists. You seemed down when you were sharing your thoughts. Don't be. Thank God your not picking Turnips with a 6 ft step ladder and you are able to see all the beautiful places you go. Stay Safe!

I will just say as a hunter. Animals change ranges for various reasons. I have seen game in areas all year long then when season opens they disappear for 16+ days. So don't get irritated for not seeing something. Let alone the hide and seek champion. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate the fact that you aren’t willing to just throw anything out as evidence so many people do that and it makes it harder for people like yourself who are trying to get scientific evidence to support your hypothesis

    • @SmallTownMonsters
      @SmallTownMonsters  6 месяцев назад +1

Thanks for understanding. My personal criteria for alleged "evidence" is pretty strict, so most of what's out there won't suffice. Generally I feel if it's not obvious or anything like that it's probably not useful, especially not to most scientists. -Aleks

Have always loved your videos, you guys should keep climbing up past the campfire site all the way to the top then down the other side a quarter of the way set up there to listen to the valley below, it will cut out all the stuff going on near the water where you been camping, parabolic mic or do your little recorders you have, and that drone thermal would be awesome at the new spot over the ridgeline 👍

So I’ve REALLY been enjoying your videos and the intelligent and scientific approach to further understanding these animals!
As I’m watching this you mentioned using a speaker and using sounds as an attraction
I’m wondering how hard it would be to set up a drum kit of some kind and have someone just go all out on it have some camera traps setup and then walk away for a day or two 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Great video series, finding them is tough, if you find the crazy structures, bent over trees, X symbols, trident symbolisim, teepee structures and nests you have found them, getting it on film ? Unless your a ghost or get lucky its not going to happen.
