Hi I’m having trouble getting my filament wire to glow, I’m using a lithium battery 3.7v in a container similar to yours. Got this SL lamp and don’t know if it’s set up right with fibre washers. Any help will be good
If you have a circuit tester you can check to see if you have a circuit. Most probably the lighting plate will need stripping down and cleaning. My lamp uses kanthal wire for the filament, if your lamp has the original platinum wire I do not know the battery pack will make the platinum wire glow.
Hi Stevie finally got my SL lamp to light, the battery in the lighting device I was using was not strong enough. I used a 26650 battery and hey ho lit up. Happy days mate. Tony
