For sure , once people start getting these in hand , then we can really see what's inside and can give us insight on how the efficiency was achieved, ie is it the xp chips, but less chips per board to save money that were clocked higher and made slightly less efficient or what. Real curious to see the s19j xp and if it's literally just an xp clone that's just clocked higher or if there's more to it... unfortunately bitmain loves leaving us in the dark when it comes to the technicals.
Am planning to buy this new model, but our local market dealer advice me to buy the old “J” series, he claims that the low power supply for 120 TH in the new “K” model will cause a damage to the device at long term! Is this true ?!
So the k series has not shipped yet, so we don't know much about them at all, he may be referring to the j pro+ which is also 120 t/h, which doesn't have a power supply issue , so no idea what he is referencing to. But , the old j series is known for being more reliable and easier to repair. One difference with the j pro+ , it has the older style soldered on heat sinks from the s17 days, although it was an initial concern, they seem to be holding up, but they've only been out about 4-5 months.
Yeah , it's been weird , have had quite a few people mention that, and have had others on the same stock firmware get what it's supposed to get , so weird.
Appreciate it , yeah man, I'll tell it like it is and give both sides. Im an at home miner whose always looking for the best bang for the buck , so I just show how I see the value of it and what I'm researching through my perspective, Thanks for watching!
Well Nice miner but weird with the s19j pro+ don't know what bitmain is doing Finally going to pick up my s19 pro 110th tomorrow for 1300$ very good price in my opinion i'm gonna mess around with undervolting to find out what's the best efficiency I can get out of it and to make it last the longest will definitely not overclock it because I don't want it to end up at the repair shop 😂
Yeah man, curious to see where the street price ends up being at. Any of these prices right now are all solid, especially considering what the price will be a year from now!
@@miningstacker Yeah Definitely I wish I could buy s19 90th for the street price it's selling for new but getting it shipped I would be paying over 50% more Oh well. but looking forward on videos on the s19K I was wondering what are the chips in the s19j pro?
@@slayer21 no idea as of yet, even with this one , hard to tell if it's b-grade xp chips, or less chips at a higher clock, who knows. Lots of weird stuff, different heat sink designs, the s19jxp also looks like it has the PSU that was originally supposed to be on the s19j pro+ with that different connector, just weird stuff this year from bitmain BTC miners all around.
It's going to depend on the sentiment of the market and what happens. Typically don't get momentum upwards for 5-6ish months after, so immediately after ,it is rough on the miners because profitability will be in the toilet if we don't get a serious drive up. So that coupled with the ETF's getting denied or some other bad news can cause a dip,BUT it's extremely risky waiting on that because of the scenario of BTC possibly going up sooner than expected if we do get positive news, and at that point once they rocket up, they won't go back down as that will be the end of the bear. The ones winning are the ones who purchased at the beginning of the year, and have now just about made the initial return back already. There's still about 8ish months to accumulate, but lots of risk in waiting for prices that will likely not go a whole lot lower , if at all. Lots of stuff to consider.
Loving the regular uploads again!! 🙌
😂, Thanks brotha! Good to be back, there was so much to catch up on!
Need to make a list of how many chips per unit. That would help make sense

@@miningstacker probably XP that couldn't clock as high. I am working on something also find out this week if it works 😀

Appreciate the Update - BTC Miners are long term venture, profitability is low right now. Thanks
Of course! Yeah BTC mining is definitely a long game
If you buy this, you will need to update the firmware from bitmain. My efficiency was dog shit until I updated the firmware.
Yeah , it's been weird , have had quite a few people mention that, and have had others on the same stock firmware get what it's supposed to get , so weird.
Will say i like the fact you don't try and fluff up how a miner is... you keep it realistic for the avg joe. No hype...straight forward... keep it up!

I super agree with you. If you are limited on power and space go for altcoin miners. No reason to buy one and be maxed out!
It is interesting how much these miners will cost after the halving?
