Great video and thanks for sharing your experience. Given the ant miner lifespan lasts for 3-5 yrs + assume break even in 2yrs what strategies do you suggest to ensure the miner doesn’t become throw away?
My main question is how long will the miner continue to operate at a profit? As new minors come out, the old technology starts to produce less and less. Does anyone know how long miners continue operate at a profit?
Have you ever tried using Braiins with slush pool to increase your Hashrate and mining preformance? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all the great videos!
I appreciate the information - Just seems a bit difficult to get into this now. I dont have $12,000 laying around. Is there a simpler and perhaps less expensive way to at least get started?
Thanks for the info, very helpful. When looking to pick up one of these bad boys second hand on an online marketplace, how can we check to make sure we are not getting scammed? What things should be be on look out for? How to check it to make sure it works?
So if I buy a Miner with a lesser Hashrate is my amount of Bitcoin I earn cut down because I have the lesser? Like am I penalized? I understand everyone goes for the higher hashrate but I can buy 5 of the lower hashrate for the same price as the higher hashrate and 50hash x 5 = 250hash Vs one higher hashrate of 100 for the same price?

Thx for sharing. Still not getting the point of getting ROI of 18 months buying a BTC miner ... knowing that difficulty is going to increase and the miner might be out dated by that time. Where do I miss the point?
Starting g the Asic mining for BTC now isn't gonna be easy on the ROI and pay itself off. There's too many large miners stealing the hashrate and difficulty is climbing way too fast. The best thing to do is buy a new and high Hashrate/ lowest Power that you can find for any other token and mine while paying out and swapping for BTC at payout. Just don't get an ETH Asic cause they're useless in less than 6 months. Lol
when you add a tax to it.. it's even longer. Would love to see other coins and mining opportunities videos Vosk, like the ones you have for helium and that wicrypt currency, those vids are great! Keep up the great work with everything.
Live in DFW (Texas) and I am currently on an electric plan with "free nights" from 9pm to 9am. Not truly free, but the full cost does drop down to 3 cents per Kwh during those hours. Also, about halfway done refinancing my house. Once that is finished, I am going to add solar panels to the house. Now that I am seriously thinking about mining, I plan on doubling the panels that I intend on putting on the roof. With proper care (air conditioning, surge suppressors, etc), how long can you expect one of these mining rigs to last?

It just seems like it takes a long time just to break even, depending on BTC price. Wonder if just buying $10-15k of BTC and hodling would be better. I do have 4 cent per kw/hr off peak rates (2-6 pm peak)
Off of rough memory it kinda does make more sense to just buy the coin. I went ahead and. Built an ETH mining rig but bought 50% prior to bull run start. Mining makes sense with right approach but it makes way more sense investing in bear market prior to bull run.
Anyone have thoughts on difficulty increase. Some calculations say with current price of s19s unless electricity is super low like 5cents kw you will never break even?
@@geezusfreek1 yeah, I'm in canada so everything on the sites is about 50% more that listed price and with how our tax gouging works up here, most of the machines are 4 year + to break even on em and right now with the scamdemic going on it's hard to find work that pays let alone pays well

@@westcoastadventurers8504 which url would that be?
BTC mining is a bit pointless for small miners now as its getting ever harder to do transactions and theres so many better options to mine
I actually just bought my first asic, an s19a pro 110TH, it will arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to finally mining Bitcoin for the first time!
which store did you buy it please?
Which store did you purchase it from ?🧐
4 months later how is it going Tony? I am thinking of buying the same rig let me know I would appreciate it😉
Thanks for your posts. Helped me find a second stream of income. Between one S17, one S19, and one M2 I am seeing $25 / daily.

Buying a miner to be running 2 years from now is dangerous. Id want to breakeven < 14 months.
Why, because the asic gets old fast, mining difficulty? Im new to mining as i just got free electricity and my goal is to make 1000 euros a day

my ROI on mining with GPUs has been 8 months vs this ASIC 2+ year ROI. this is silly.

That is extremely cheap power! If you have a place to run a miner (can deal with a loud, heat producing machine), I would get a miner.
I think you also have to consider your machine could appreciate in value along with the coins it's mining. Just my opinion though.
Off of rough memory it kinda does make more sense to just buy the coin. I went ahead and. Built an ETH mining rig but bought 50% prior to bull run start.

Damn! I’m at 19 cents per kWh. If you don’t start mining what are you even doing with your life? Lmfao
In terms of investment, a 2 year break even is pretty good in my opinion. It's hard to find that in other traditional investments.
Happy Tails Bday!
What happens when all the bitcoin is mined?
No more bitcoin, by then btc would be worth a stupid amount of money

Are most mining rigs locked to a particular currency or token? Or can you switch them onto other currencies that use the same blockchains?
They are programmed to mine a certain algorithm.. I'm available for any questions though ..
