if i got solar on the roof id run miners from sunrise to sunset.
feed in tarifs are way too low.
also using the heat could cut some other bills.
even in summertime a normal household needs warm water after all.

Hi, just new to channel and bitcoin. i have been doing some research and watching vds but no one giving right informatin. If i am making 4.95$ (0.000161 BTC) so i just making 4.95$ a day in bitcoin or do i sell that bitcoin for higher price or value? this is part i am trying to understand.
I work on Antminer S19 farm with over 3,5k miners. S19 has a lot of types. I work with 15 different s19 types.
Just never get ones with Aluminum hasboards. Most of issues with S19 are HBs and the biggest problem with miners that have AL HBs is that they don't work with 2HB and it is difficult to diagnose which HB is broken.
Have CB and PSU in stock, order few cables( ribbon, power and communication ones).
And have same type of miners. Easer to maintain if something breaks
Will the difficulty drop down if the EC bans mining due to the energy problems ?

At 20c usdt for electricity in Australia I carnt see making a profit, would you suggest I use a mineing factory like genesis mineing where they allow you to hire space in the factory where they put there own miners for you then give you profits, of are these mega factories a scams because I done my research most hi end factories can only draw 1000kw an hour's but they must have to draw a million, how do they set there factories up to draw that sort of power out of the lines without causing wires or breaker boxes to melt

Depends on power consumption and power cost. 3100w and 8 cent usd per kw/h is 181 bucks a month as an example

@@Coneelfrancis it depends on your electricity rate. Measured in kilowatt hours, kw/h. Mine is .078 per kw/h, so 3100 watts a day at my electric rate is like around 5.85 a day

Remember, even with a solar farm, you can't think of your energy as free. You have to count it as the same cost that you could sell it to the power company. If you can sell it for a nickel, it's costing you a nickel to use it.

As in Costco of mining BTC vs direct sell back to the grid... Maybe not at all times, but mining BTC will always be more profitable than simply selling energy at market price. There are so many things you're failing to consider. It's NOT just opportunity cost. Electricity costs include generation, transmission and distribution. Then, there’s costs associated with obtaining BTC. If you're a Company that produces BTC as a byproduct of using electricity, then that cost becomes a write-off. If you buy BTC, without producing it, it's just a capital gain.
Not sure where you're at, but it's not just about the opportunity cost of one Input versus the other. Just sayin'.
@@EK-px3ei You obviously have to account for all the costs. I'm just saying that when you do those calculations, you have to consider the cost of the electricity, even if you are making it yourself.
@@EK-px3ei If you are trying to mine, then your goal is either to get the cash or to get the coin. If you can make more cash or more coin by turning the miner off and selling the electricity, you'd be stupid to run the miner. And, this is a calculation that could easily change day to day based on current mining difficulty and coin prices. All of that stuff you are saying about writing off your solar panels is true regardless of how you are making the money from them.
